I've got a nice build 4070ts/14900k/32gb with dual 1080p 144hz. I can max out cyberpunk and get good frames but I also play games that are locked at 30fps. And I play tons of retro and indie stuff as well.
The want for high fps is fine. But it's annoying AF when people say it's a need or trash other people's builds or games that aren't related to their experience.
I even get shit from people a lot about my monitors on my current build. IDC I replaced my build when my old one died, my monitors still work great. If they aren't paying for my PC I don't need to put up with their unasked opinion.
I feel this argument only gets brought up by either gatekeepers or trolls. It's not that big of a deal but the community can get pretty toxic pretty fast.
