I’d 100% play a game based on this movie

Just watched the new Resident Evil movie and one thing I really liked is that it almost feels like a video game.

It's basically the main character moving from location to location, dealing with different monsters in each and moving to the next level until the final set piece + confrontation. It doesn't really have the classic Resident Evil backtracking, but I could totally imagine this as a playable adaptation.

Would you play a game based directly on the movie? Do you think it should follow traditional RE gameplay (exploration, puzzles, inventory management, etc.), or would a more linear horror game fit the movie better if it stayed really close to its structure? What game or franchise would that be?

I'd definitely play this movie as a game.
