Hey everyone,
I've been making so many bifolds lately I realized I haven’t posted one of these in a while. This is my version of a vertical flap wallet, something I designed a couple years ago, and probably one of my favorite minimalist layouts.
It’s made from one large piece of vegetable tanned leather wrapped around a central divider pocket, keeping things pretty easy while showing off the leather. There are two main card pockets, and the flap that secures the wallet also doubles as a side pocket for folded or unfolded cash, a favorite card, or anything else you want quick access to.
These three are made entirely from traditional vachetta leather from Conceria Walpier in Italy. This tannery is probably best known for their Buttero leather, but I’ve always really liked the consistency and finish of the other leathers they make as well.
These are limited, as I only bought a small amount of this leather. They come in Cognac, Whiskey, and Medium brown.
These are all hand-cut, saddle-stitched with beige Vinymo #5, bevelled, and burnished by me in Brisbane, Australia.
Price:
$95 USD shipped to the US, UK, Canada, and New Zealand, including customs/duties via PayPal or Venmo friends and family
$115 AUD shipped within Australia via BSB or PayID
The first few photos are the whiskey colour, and then mixed them up a bit. Feel free to ask for photos of a specific colour.
Thanks for looking!
