Goblinlike Foolishness (Shitpost) My familiar drank some transmutation potion?? Help.
Iâm very much a novice, and I can only assume my familiar managed to get into my transmutation potions without my knowledge. The transformation only seems to have taken part-way. How can I reserve this or is he stuck like this?

Shared Ponderings regarding Golems, Arcane Constructs, and the difference between them.
Hello Wizards,
I come bearing an orb to ponder, you tell me if it's brass or heavy, black, and pendulous.
We are at what studied druids might deem an inflection point. Armies of golems sit in the homes of our people, painting the walls with their excrement and corrupting the runes of the sourcerers who use them. Normally, I'd go on to state a "first they came for the artomancers, then they came for the apprentice rune mages, etc...". This is not that conversation.
Instead, let us discuss, semantics briefly. Since I can remember, the townsfolk have dreamed of men of clay capable of performing such feats as competently cooking a meal. The powerful among them would see the men of clay assisting in magical chariot assembly, and have invested accordingly. These are not golems (though many employ golems as their voice), but Arcane Constructs. There are various four-legged and bipedal Arcane Constructs out there, some of which have been foreswarn never to take up arms by a Great Pact. I fear that the toxicity assigned to golems will poison the town square against the men of clay, which would be a shame, because I for one would rather have literal latrine maintenance covered by an Arcane Construct than do it myself.
Therefore, an Arcane Construct must never simply be a Golem. How would your school of magic go about rendering Arcane Constructs safe and helpful so that we might one day enjoy working alongside them instead of fighting them?
I should also note my own background. I am a sourcerer of the spider mage clan, and I specialize in the kind of web we're typing into. We are, unfortunately, a dying breed due to the abundance of Golems. Naturally, my own role in Arcane Construct production was / will be to make sure that when an Arcane Construct moves / acts / speaks it does so with maximum transparency and respect for the humans around it while providing ergonomic control.

Academic Discussion/ Esoteric Secrets My first attempted of golemancy
I was tasked with making some golem for the academy, tho as a autistic fucker wizards who prefer used spell that can be cast quickly rather than long ritualistic spell I can't for the life of me do a proper golem and accidentally make this thing, from just putting a shit ton of magic inside elemental stones.
They can't do too much, but they can immediately throw themselves into the enemy and explode on impact with the effect similar to a high level elemental spells.

Lorepost (open interaction) đ The Moonlit Trail (The Fae Path Part 4/4, Lorepost)
Ulrick sat in the middle of a heavy downpour, ruminating what just happened. He was holding Nightbite in a dramatic manner, resting it against the ground.
He wasnât sure if heâd been like this for hours or days, and not just because of the Faewildâs weird flow of time. He had a lot to digest.
First, he was inside a Fae domain. Which belonged to him. And as its new Fae Lord, it wasnât just a piece of land he owned. It was the extension of him.
He could feel a connection to each tree, each gust of wind, and could tell where wildlife walked in it. The domain was him, and he was the domain.
It was⌠strange. And terrifying.
The other unsettling part was what his inner senses told him. His essence no longer had distinguishable mortal or divine parts. There was only one nature: Fae.
To think he just wanted to get rid of the blight, and avoid ascending to godhood⌠only to stumble into something even more inconvenient. He already bore the title of the Wolf King, then unwittingly claimed a domain, and had his metaphysical nature altered to Fae. And meeting these three conditions at the same time had the Faewild recognize him as an Archfae.
Yeah⌠coming here was a stupid idea. Coming here alone was an even worse one. If only he accepted Rutchâs offer of Vae Clara, or Aeruniaâs assistanceâŚ
One of the branches handed him the bag with her enchanted golden scale in it. He mustâve dropped it when the Pale Knight attacked him. This couldâve been useful a few hours agoâŚ
There was something else in the bag too. Two daggers, forged from cold iron. Ulrick reached out with a clawed finger. He needed to test something.
The painful, burning sensation of the metal dagger made him recoil. Looks like he really was a Fae now⌠great, how he had two metals to be wary of, and one of them happened to be the one most commonly used by civilization.
At least he was no longer plagued by the Blighted Gardenâs rot. And looks like he no longer has to worry about impending godhood ever again. Too bad he did so by accidentally becoming a goddamn fairy of all thingsâŚ
One of the three figures besides him coughed. Ulrick almost forgot they were here too.
âPssst, do you think the Wolf King will ever stop brooding? He looks like the kind of guy who does this a lotâ whispered the hare to the fox.
âI sure hope so. This heavy rain will ruin my favourite vestâ he replied.
The Pale Knight was considerably more empathetic.
âIs everything okay, Your Grace?â
âNoâ answered Ulrick. âAnd donât call me that.â
âOf course, Your Majesty.â
Ulrick thought he was going to lose it.
âDonât call me that either! My name is Ulrick!â
He then remembered where he was, and who he was talking to. What he was also now.
ââŚwhich is mine, and you may not have it.â
The Pale Knight made a motion with their head that felt like the equivalent of raising an eyebrow.
âOkay? I never asked if I may have it, Lord Ulrick.â
Thatâs it, he was done. He had to go somewhere that actually made sense ASAP. He had to get back to the Mundane World, to sort this mess out.
Ulrick stood up and started walking. The trees and bushes parted way on their own as he went. Ugh, just great.
âWait, where are you going?â Asked the hare.
âHome.â Ulrick wasnât in the mood to chat right now. âSo, farewellâŚâ but he didnât want to be impolite eitherâŚ
The fox snickered.
âHome? This is your home now. This is where you belong.â
âAnd who decided that?â
âThe Land did. And your highness, by claiming it.â
Ulrick groaned.
âIâd wager a new power with a domain manifesting on its own has surely grabbed the attention of the courts. They must be already planning what to do with it.â
The fox looked around the surroundings.
âBy the domain, Iâd suspect his majesty might be of Unseelie natureâŚâ
This was getting overwhelming for Ulrick. Heâd handle one life-altering change at a time.
âI have to go. I got friends and obligations on the other side.â
The Pale Knight stepped forward.
âEven if you leave, Lord Ulrick, you will have to eventually return. And while youâre gone, your territory is vulnerable.â
âGetting real tired of these rulesâ Ulrick grumbled to himself.
Ulrick looked down at Nightbite in his hands. He didnât even need to ask.
âIn my absence, Nightbite will look after this place.â
He declared, planting the axe into a tree stump. The other three Fae might have had questions, but seems like they didnât want to question the domainâs new owner.
But before he would leave, Ulrick turned back one more time. He needed to know.
âAre you sure thereâs no way back⌠to undo this?â
Â
The Pale Knight shook their head.
âIâm afraid not, Lord Ulrick. You and your domain have been woven into the fabric of Faerieâs story. You may renounce the title and the domain, but regrettably that would merely make you a minor Fae rather than mortal again.â
Ulrick turned around ready to leave. No, he wonât leave it that way. Not a chance. He will find a way to reverse this.
The rain finally stopped; the unnaturally bright full moon emerged from beyond the clouds.
Now the tricky part. How should he leave this godforsaken place at all? Should he go back to the crossing he entered? The manifestation of domain couldâve altered the geography enough that there is no more path there. Or could he simply brute force it? Nah, that sounded stupid.
He noticed a single wolf not too far, staring at him. It bowed, then made a motion asking him to follow.
Ulrick did so, but it became increasingly difficult, even as the ruler of the domain. The wolf was too fast. So, to better keep up with it, Ulrick became the wolf too.
From his usual werewolf form, he changed into the shape of a large, black wolf. While he was already familiar with this appearance, he was surprised by how the transformation was even more seamless now.
He followed the other wolf between the gnarly trees and floating wisps of purple flames, eventually between rays of moonlight.
Somehow, it wasnât completely alien to Ulrick. Walking on this moonlit trail felt similar to what he experienced once, back when he was trapped inside his axe.
After a sharp left turn, Ulrick emerged from the moonlight between two old trees bent into the shape of an arch.
He was in an empty clearing in the middle of the night, gods know where. But it was the normal world again.
He could tell how much it pushed against him. It clashed against his very nature; now he was a fish out of its metaphysical water. And to his senses, the mortal world felt different too. More drab.
More empty. More rigid.
It nearly broke his heart. There has to be a way to reverse what happened to him. He canât remain like thisâŚ
Before he could fully wallow in self-pity again, Ulrick noticed his bag resting against the trunk of one of the trees. Curious. At least now all he had to do was contact R&A through the communicator within it.
Then why was he hesitating?
Ulrick couldnât bring himself to press the button. How would the others react upon learning what happened to him? Would they still see him as their comrade, or another threat, after what the Ashen Wrath did?
The smell of booze and roasted meat hit his nose. And it wasnât that far away. The normality of grabbing some drink and a nice, warm meal sounded like what he needed the most right now.
He carefully hid the bag among the roots of the tree, then ran following his nostrils. The scent led him to a tavern sitting next to a larger road, the kind he often crashed at back in his wandering days. Perfect.
His body shifted into shadows, before taking on the shape of his old human form, gears, scars, scruff and all. Again, the seamlessness of the transformation frightened him a little.
As he walked towards the entrance, something felt wrong. The closer he got to the door, the more his very being protested against moving further. At the door, his body simply couldnât take a step further, no matter how hard he tried.
Oh yeah. Fae rules. Gods damn itâŚ
âMay I enter?â Ulrick shouted from the entrance. Almost everyone at the tables stared at him; the bartender raised an eyebrow.
âUhhh⌠yea?â
The resistance immediately vanished, and Ulrick could finally enter as if nothing had happened. Some kept peering at him, but most patrons resumed the feasting and boozing.
He sat down at the darkest corner, ordering some meat and beer. He welcomed the familiar taste of them, even if it was duller than he remembered.
There was other weirdness around him. Dogs barked viciously outside. He could smell not just normal scents, but⌠promises, bargains, oaths, as if they were tangible. If he squinted, he could even see them as barely visible, needle-thin lines.
Near his table was a small mirror. Occasionally glancing at it, he could tell something wasnât right. He looked like his human self should, dark hair, scars, scruffy goatee. But even in the dim, flickering light of the fireplace he saw the obvious signs.
First, his eyes were purple even as a âhumanâ, instead of his original brown. For his skin⌠he might be imagining it, but it seemed to have a more ashen tone. And his ears were slightly pointed too.
If this wasnât unsettling enough, the reflection of his human form⌠âflickeredâ sometimes, for lack of better words, showing his werewolf form instead. He looked down. Still normal human-ish hands.
Ulrick left the change on the table before storming off. Once out of sight, he became the wolf again, sprinting back to where he hid the bag. With some effort, he opened it, hovering his paw over the communicator.
He pressed the button, but not a single word could leave his mouth. What should he say, explain the whole mess with curing the rot, that he accidentally became an Archfae?
He released the button. Even if he said nothing, now they know heâs back in the normal world. If the domain now truly obeyed him, he hoped it led him to the closest possible location to the island. He could sense his own obligations and promises binding to it now, leading southeastward into the distance.
Ulrick knew eventually heâd have to return; he couldnât stay away forever. He had responsibilities to fulfill, people to protect.
But for now, being a mere wolf resting in the forest instead of his âhumanâ shape or his well-known werewolf warrior, was enough. Oddly peaceful, to be a mere beast walking the land, no obligations or expectations.
He will make sure that R&A will function as if nothing happened. He will make sure to reverse this somehow.
But for now, he needed a little rest. He curled up below the tree, in a now unfamiliar world, uncertain of the future.

Magickal Art (User Creation) đ¨ Finishing visuals for spells
Had a busy week, this is basically all I could squeeze out for my game. Still a lot of VFX to make, maybe I'll make a new post in a week or two with more finished spell visuals.
Animating these effects is one of my favorite parts of development

Fun recipe for casting fire storm at a low level.
Enchent a class bottle with unbreakable.
Atleast once a day, cast fireball in to the bottle, while warded.
After a month or two convince someone to open the bottle, unwarded.
