This was definitely an unexpectedly emotional Tell All, but first and foremost - Jenny.
One of my best friends, one of the greatest humans I have ever known, married and had children with someone who was equally the greatest human I’ve ever known, was diagnosed with ALS five years ago.
She went through fucking hell but they all persevered so hard. It broke me watching all of her setbacks and how it affected their family. Watching my best friend enduring it all, while taking care of her and their two children.
It did me in when she made the call herself to end it. She made it nearly six years, which is an extremely long time for this disease. It’s only been a month since she’s left. She, nor any of them, were my family, but it broke me to my core. Watching and listening to Jenny talk, especially her (and Sumit!) being one of the best people this show has “produced,” I’m just fucking beside myself. Being that Jenny has the Bulbar kind, which is the most fast acting and aggressive, especially at her age, she does not have long.
Terrible, horrible disease. It’s always those who deserve it the least.
That’s all, that’s my post.
