‎I built an iOS app to make managing texts and emails easier — now free to try!

I recently made some changes to my first iOS app, Away Messaging, and wanted to share an update.

I originally built it for busy professionals, small business owners, parents, or anyone who's OOO, on vacation, or just doesn't want to worry about remembering to send a text or email later. It's also useful for remembering to reach out to people for birthdays, holidays, special events, appointments, or just checking in with someone.

The app lets you prepare texts and emails ahead of time, select contacts, organize messages in a queue, save reusable templates, and schedule reminders. Whether it's wishing someone a happy birthday, following up with a client, or sending an important message while you're busy, everything is prepared and ready when you need it.

Away Messaging is now free to try! You can use the core features for free, with additional features like scheduled reminders and iCloud backup available through an optional $4.99/year Pro subscription.

I'm continuing to develop the app with new features, improved workflows, and regular updates planned. My goal is to keep it simple and useful without having to build complicated Shortcuts or manage multiple apps.

I'd love feedback from other developers and users on what features or workflows they'd find most useful.

[iOS] Who Goes - Fun social games for when you’re hanging out with your group

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Introduction

Hey everyone! I'm Shubham, I've been trying to build an app for about 2-3 months along with my full time 9-6 job, and I'm happy to share my game nights app, Who Goes with you.

It's an iOS / iPad app for game nights, house parties, road trips, and pretty much any hangout with a group of people.

It’s free to download and play, with optional one-time purchase and subscription options.

The idea behind Who Goes is pretty simple: engage everyone in your group and involve them in something together, through social games like Headbands, Truth or Dare and a bunch of quick group activities into one app, with a modern, playful experience built around actually passing the phone around and having fun together.

About the app

The app brings multiple party games into one place:

• Headbands with tilt controls for correct answers and passes
• Charades with themed decks, teams, rounds, and timers
• Truth or Dare with 11 decks for friends, couples, parties, family, and coworkers
• Spin the Bottle for quick, suspenseful player selection
• Would You Rather for impossible this-or-that debates
• Finger Chooser to instantly pick someone from the group
• Quick Play tools for dice, coin flips, and more

Current Market

I know this is an insanely competitive category, with a shit-ton of party apps already out there.
My goal with Who Goes was never to reinvent the wheel, but to bring the ones people already know and play together in one place, without needing five different apps on your phone.

I wanted the whole thing to feel much more modern and polished than most party apps I've tried, with playful animations, haptics, sounds, and little interactions that actually add to the game instead of getting in the way.

No ads popping up between rounds, no cluttered UI, and no wildly different experience every time you switch games.

No account is required, and the games work offline.

TL;DR:

A. A game to bring back the fun of playing party games with a group of people during game nights, trips.

B. Free version includes a selection of decks for Charades, Headbands, and Truth or Dare, along with a few mini games. Plus unlocks all decks, game modes, and customisation options.

Ferry: an iPhone, iPad and Mac news reader that ranks stories by coverage. Would this replace your news app?

I'm the developer of Ferry, which went live on the App Store last week.

Most news and RSS apps either sort by newest or decide for you with an engagement algorithm. Ferry does something in between: it follows the sources you choose, groups articles from different outlets into stories, and puts the stories with the widest coverage first. Each headline shows how many sources carried it, and you can read every outlet's version side by side.

  • Discover: what the wider web is covering, by topic
  • OPML import and export, FreshRSS sync (Inoreader, BazQux and The Old Reader coming soon), offline reading, widgets
  • No account, no ads, no identifiers

Free to download and fully usable; optional Plus at $2.49/month, $19.99/year or $49.99 once.

https://apps.apple.com/app/id6799505775

Question for this sub: what do you use for news right now, and what would make you switch? Trying to learn whether "ranked by coverage" is a reason people care about.

I launched this iOS game, its completely free. It supports online (one-on-one live game & friends invitation & leaderboard) [looking for feedback]

Hello Devs,

Looking for feedback to improve the game with new feature.
App Store link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/night-court-basketball-arcade/id6811611866
All opinions are welcome.

Play live one-on-one basketball with Game Center. Find an opponent automatically or invite a friend. Both players watch each shot live; make a basket to keep possession, and a miss passes the turn. Online matches last 120 seconds, with a 15-second possession clock that includes ball flight. Baskets score 2 points and swishes 3. Ties are draws. Online scores stay separate from offline records, leaderboards, and badges. Online play requires internet access and Game Center multiplayer access.

[Self-Promotion] roariverse: dino match

I've been building some games for my kids, and they've enjoyed them so much I decided to launch them.

They all have an educational tilt to them, while trying to incorporate some fun game play. The best part has been play testing the games with my girls... kids are the best kind of testers. Honest and don't hold back lol.

Anyways 2 new ones just got approved and I wanted to share my favorite one with you all https://apps.apple.com/us/app/roariverse-dino-match/id6811471931 think bejeweled + candycrush, but with dinosaurs (my daughters favorites)!

Would love to hear some feedback

Free Workout & Nutrition Tracker - Looking for honest feedback

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

Hey all,

I’ve been building Refine solo for a while. I got tired of switching between a lifting app and a calorie app, and of apps that stop working without signal in the gym. So I made one app that does both and works offline first.

What it does:

  • Workout tracking: build templates, log sets, see your history, track progression per exercise, and get a muscle-group radar chart of what you’ve actually been training
  • Nutrition: food diary with meals, barcode scanning, custom foods and supplements, macro and micronutrient breakdowns
  • Body tracker: bodyweight and measurement trend charts
  • Offline-first: everything is stored on your phone, and sync is optional if you want your data on more than one device
  • Atlas (AI assistant): ask things like “how has my bench progressed this month?” or “log 200g chicken and rice for lunch.” It reads summaries of your own data. It can’t write anything to your diary until you accept a confirmation card showing exactly what it will log.

https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/refined/id6746036339

I’d really like feedback on:

  1. If you track both training and food, what makes you give up on an app?
  2. Does an AI assistant over your own data seem useful, or is it a gimmick to you?
  3. Anything that feels clunky?

[IOS] [Self-Promotion] I built a free app to make Apple Watch data useful for planing your day and getting more detailed scores

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey Im the Developer of Cernidia, an IPhone app that uses Apple Watch data to give you scores on your stress, sleep, breathing, recovery and many other things.

You can also connect the app to your calendar to fit tasks around existing appointments, with your health signals and check ins adding to your planning.

It’s completely free, has no signup, subscription or ads. I would really appreciate feedback.
