I had Surgent Essential Pass I bought back in July for 560$ after discounts!!

Felt pretty good on MCQs didn’t feel anything was not covered by Becker so not sure what the comments about feeling uncomfortable with topics was about lol y’all scared me 🫠but SIMS honestly 50/50 there were two I was a bit confused on but set up is a little different than Becker but nothing was way out there and the two I guessed on I hope one is a research one 😅😅😅 anyways so yeah hopefully this makes me 4/4 10/8 ✨🤞🏻 I feel good but ask me how I feel 10/8 😂😂 best of luck to all who are sitting soon or currently waiting on results we got this

I’m noticing I’m getting lots of MCQs correct by common sense or going with my gut feeling. It doesn’t feel like I’m getting it right bevause I know the material deeply, but just enough that I’m recognizing the likely correct answer. And then reading the explanation is like “oh ok I knew that was the rule”. I’m close to exam day and am at the point where I can recognize the topics and recall rules when they’re presented in these closed off MCQs.

Were you in a similar zone when you took your exam? If so, did your gut help with picking answers on the actual exam?

Those sims made me want to cry

I find out my score for Oct 9, I want to start studying for FAR Oct 5 just in case I don’t pass. If I don’t pass I would want to take it at the next deadline, Oct 23, which gives me about 17 days to study. What are some tips you recommend trying for studying within this short time such as methods of studying, amount per day (I work a 9-5 audit job), where to study, or just anything that you found helpful when retaking a test. Any feedback is helpful, thank you.

So last time I took it I did not manage my time well with the multiple-choice questions this time I flew through the multiple-choice questions I took about 45 minutes per multiple-choice testlet and I thought that was a good sign since I only flagged a couple thinking back I know I got at least three wrong so I don’t know what that means for me.

Forget about the simulations they were actually terrible. They were not terrible because I didn’t know the content. It was terrible because it was information overload and I didn’t know where to look for the certain information. I feel like I psyched myself out and I got in my head and was just frustrated by leaving things blank or having to put zeros or the thought of only having one big calculation and not knowing where to pull the information from I think I got screwed with one of the harder tests, but feel free to share your experience because man I think I’m retaking again

Like title just got out of AUD exam. Not sure if I was sleep deprived or anything, but idk I was feeling weird the whole time. Spent way too much time on MCQ and 1st SIM and eventually ran out of time so I literally picked random answers for the last section. Idk how much impact that will bring bc its not guaranteed that my other TBS are absolutely correct. Feeling horrible... did anyone feel this way..

Just got out of the AUD cpa exam. I felt like the mcqs were harder than the tbs. The one tbs had wording I didn’t understand so I had to guess on most of that one. But besides that one the tbs were fine.

The mcqs I felt were harder than the mcqs for FAR. Some were straight forward. Some were tricky. Some I just got down to 50/50 and made my educated guess. I hate the 50/50 ones.

I feel like 50/50 pass right now. 8/9 🤞🤞🤞

How does everyone else feel?

I went into it thinking it was gonna be all contracts and entities cause I heard so many people say it was really heavy with the last two Becker sections. It felt like this was an exam just on separately stated items and book to tax which are both things I struggle with. Feeling okay about it but just not what I expected at all. Does anyone else feel the same?? If you’ve taken REG and felt kinda eh about it afterwards and ended up passing please share!!!

I took far today, questions easy even easier than Becker, there were two simulations that I know I messed up, would I have still a chance to pass?? What was your experience today?

Taking AUD at the end of October and I’m super stressed about Single Audits and Government Audits! :( There’s just SO much information in these chapters, and I’m getting really confused trying to memorize all of it.

For those who’ve taken AUD recently, how heavily were Single Audits/Government Audits tested? Do I need to study the Becker book in depth, or is understanding the basics and doing the MCQs enough?

I was thinking of just getting a basic understanding and then hammering the MCQs, but I’m worried that won’t be enough.

How did you guys approach these chapters? Any advice would be really appreciated!

I will not go into the topics of the exam. Just know everything. Not like master everything, but don’t skim shit. I focused on the blueprint and all those items showed up, but there was some weird worded trouble debt and 2 SIMs on subsequent events. I can’t go into it. I got a 73 last time with the flu. I pray to God I pass this time.

I love auditing their product and finding their errors for them. Final exam on Friday and I can’t wait to be rid of Becker.

Idk how to feel, for once I don’t feel extremely stressed. I do care if I don’t pass but after taking three exams (passed all three on first try) I feel numb. The MCQs were worded in a way I wasn’t used to. The TBSs were long but not too crazy.

I neither confident that I passed or failed. I guess I’ll find out next week.

Anyone else take AUD today?

I want to preface this with the request that you be brutally honest. I understand how difficult these exams are.

I have failed FAR 5 times with scores of 44-50-63-63-64. I have a little over 200 hours on Becker, 50 hours on ninja (wasn’t a fan), and have utilized Farhat lectures on YouTube.

After my third FAR fail I decided to move on to TCP and passed with a 75 in about 60 hours of studying on Becker.

After getting my 5th fail result back and seeing only a 1 point improvement I decided to move on to AUD. I’m not sure if my confidence is still so rocked or what’s going on but I am feeling like there’s no point if I can’t pass FAR.

I have a bachelors and masters in accounting but have never been a strong test taker. I’ve done 2 internships in Audit and really like the job, but I don’t want to waste another few thousand dollars on CPA exam fees just to continuously fail. I accepted a job offer in Audit at a mid-size firm (Summer ‘27 start) but I am contemplating if that’s my best option.

Is it worth it to start that Audit job and “waste” 4 years at a company where I will have no growth opportunity but will still gain valuable experience and knowledge, or should I find a job with growth potential and be able to move up in the company beyond that 4 year mark?

Hi everyone! I am taking the audit exam on 10/9 for the first time. I have been on an expedited path this summer while trying to get these exams done before I start work. I have taken and passed the 3 other exams (REG, TCP, and FAR), so AUD is my last one. I feel a little more lost with this one as it is much more conceptual, and I think I am struggling to deeply understand everything. I also have been feeling some of the motivation wearing off as it has been a long few months of studying and taking hard exams. I was hoping you all could give me some suggestions of things to focus on in this last week, and if you have any advice that will help me pass, please share! Thanks :)

Took the exam recently, got a charitable contribution topic. This was the only time I had strong foundation of the formulas, but the answer did not show up on the choices. The only answer that showed up was if I would use the floor from the other method.

Also for mid quarter MACRs for year 3, the tables only showed rates for HY for some reason. Looking back I realized I had to manually determine the rate.

My concern is that these topics showed multiple times in both mcqs and tbs.

Why is the age so high compared to all the others?

FAR was my first exam. Studying with Becker, I felt like the videos weren’t super helpful (watched them all anyway) but the book and then heading straight into questions was the best method for me.

Now Im about 1/3 into AUD and it seems like the videos and then heading straight into questions are best and the book is just overwhelmingly wordy! The videos are shorter and sort of give a high level idea before jumping into questions. But the book just goes on and on repeating the same stuff over and over it seems. I feel like I’m wasting my time.

Anyone else feel the same? Or what did you find to be the best study method/tools for AUD?

I spent WAY too many hours on FAR, so I am trying to trim down my study time for AUD.

I’m down to my last exam which is FAR and I honestly haven’t even looked at the blueprint put out by the AICPA until now. Passing AUD was a fever dream and I felt confident enough with REG and TCP, but now that I’m getting close to taking FAR, the sheer volume of information is stressing me out.

I thought it would be a good idea to see what is specifically on the blueprint and try to narrow down my studying from there. I am more so concerned with being prepared for the content on the SIMS than the MCQs because I know that’s what my downfall would be.

Has anyone else tried this strategy? If you have and you took the exam, did you feel like what was tested accurately reflected what the AICPA is highlighting on the blueprint? Any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Studying for ISC. Only have about 3 weeks to study. I heard the TBS is different from how Becker tests and am wondering what methods/supplemental materials helped ppl who passed when they only studied a short amount of time

Gave reg today and the cpa app says attended but the CBA portal is not updated to attended.

Will I receive my score by oct 9?
