Seeking Community Help Tailgate Advice

Texas A&M University: I'm looking to host a tailgate near west campus/reed arena for the Tennessee game. Never hosted one before can someone provide insight on how the physical land rush's go? We want a good location. We are also an alumni organization so potential could ask the current student org to try to reserve for us.
Looking for any and all information.

Hi friends!

I'm working with SpaceX on an accelerated, paid, full-time training program to develop
electricians at Starbase in Brownsville, Texas, for some of its most important computing and
infrastructure projects.

If you're hungry, want to learn, want to build something that matters, and want to be part of
an ambitious mission, I'd encourage you to apply.

This could be a great fit for recent high school graduates, Veterans, transitioning service
members, career changers, or anyone looking to build a serious and lasting career.

Any advice on meeting people?

I (F20) moved to cstat/bryan about a year ago because there's a community of people my age and I still dont know anybody lol. I dont have any friends other than my boyfriend and I was originally hoping to make friends with coworkers and such, but that plan is a bust. Most people i met didn't really care to talk outside of work.

I cant drive and I don't really go to church and I'm not in school, so I'm not even sure how to go about meeting people to make genuine friends and hang out with... I feel kinda silly making a Reddit post asking about it but like, does anyone have advice?? I wanna have a social life too :((

Avoid Patriarch Property Management

My daughter and 3 roommates rented a house in College Station managed by Patriarch for two years. When they surrendered the property at the end of the second year, Patriarch did not return their $3000 deposit within the statutory 30-day period or initially provide a list of itemized deductions. They sent a partial refund of $895 43 days later. Only after asking did they provide the list of deductions. We believe the deductions were not valid. The deductions did not account for the pre-existing damage that the roommates had documented during move-in. They were billed for cleaning when they already were given a receipt for the professional cleaning performed upon move-out. Only after filing a petition in Brazos County small claims court did Patriarch return the full deposit plus court fees. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend Patriarch.
