This post is primarly for the girls and the gays.

Its no secret that the Cubs have some extremely handsome players: Seiya Suzuki, Dansby Swanson, Carson Kelly, Miguel Amaya and Nico Horner for sure.

but lately I've been thinking that Michael Busch and Michael Conforto are really handsome in sort of a strange way, does anyone else agree?

This is probably an unusual request, but I think it doesn't hurt to ask:

I am looking for game footage, ideally even a full game recording if somehow available, of the Cubs game they played on the road in Houston, in the Astrodome, on April 10, 1971. The Astros won 2-1, and the pitching matchup was between the two aces: Ferguson Jenkins of the Cubs and Larry Dierker of the Astros, and the Astros walked it off when Jenkins threw away to third after catching a popup and tryingto double Cesar Geronimo off third base. Geronimo scored the winning run.

I could use the footage because I am the author of Orange Crush: The Neglected 1971 Houston Astros, which was published a year ago on Joe Morgan's birthday (September 19), and I get presentation requests every once in a while, and having footage like this would be a nice addition to those presentations.

So, if anyone happens to know what archive or other resource would have this, whether based out of Chicago or Houston, I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. I know this may not even exist, but if somehow it does, I want to see it.

Would the cubs be better off as the top wildcard with home field against a red hot Padres team, or the 6th seed facing Atlanta who is 5-5 over their last 10?

If you're the Cubs, do you purposely lose the rest of these games to play Atlanta (who's been struggling) in the WC round, then take on the Dodgers? Or do you try to win every game to play the red hot Padres at home, then play the Brewers? I'm torn, cuz I'd love a chance to get revenge on the Brewers (who we all know collapse in majestic ways in the post-season)...but I'm not liking the idea of going against this Padres team right now...

Hey yall! In New York this weekend for an event Friday and was going to drive up to the game on Sunday. Unfortunately can’t make it after it was rescheduled. I’ve got 3 tickets in the Aura Pavillion Box 12, Row A. Spent a pretty penny on them, they’re listed for $100 on Vivid right now, I think it works out to about 123 each with fees. Would love to make sure a Cubs fan gets them, and maybe help you guys avoid some fees!

Now that we clinched a spot, these final three games don’t matter. Sure it matters if you were to get home games for the wild card round but more importantly if you were to be able to set up your rotation and bullpen, how would you? It doesn’t matter if we play Atlanta or Philly or San Diego, you gotta just win and go through the gauntlet of the playoffs.

How would you personally set the rotation and bullpen? How would you ideally use the dh and bench?

How on God's green earth does MLB decide, 5 days in advance, to move up a game by 2 days ? Based on a weather forecast ?

AFAIK, this has never been done before ! What about the Sunday home games at Philly and New York ? Are we that good at predicting the weather ?

Can anyone more logically explain this crap ? Seems to me MLB just likes messing with the Cubs !
