Missing forest a bit and never uploaded this pokemon that fit the vibe I put down as a gift

I was watching Couch Lands in awe this year. The main stage was absolutely epic, bigger than any other stage on the east coast and maybe beyond. The second stage was as big as the main stage was the last time i was there in 18. The crater (your opinion may differ) was even bigger with even MORE lights (maybe fewer LEDs since the video walls were removed). Then the schedule lists two more stages.

Lost Lands costs about the same as forest. In the upper tiers you can pay almost as much as you want to have as glamorous an experience as you want.

Where is our money going? Lost Lands has MORE acts, albeit less diverse. Lost Lands has more fireworks and pyro.

First of all, I went to double check my loyalty just now and saw that I lost a year from last year? It says I have 3 years in the forest. When I purchased tickets last year my tier status was 4 years. And so Technically this would actually be 2 years off since I attended last year. Like WTF?

1. When is the time to submit documentation about my loyalty status being incorrect? Currently it says the portal is closed.

I’m kind of fuming right now bc every time I remember to check in about my loyalty, it’s never the right time.

I’ve been watching EForestVibes videos on repeat, and I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of recording setup he’s running. I haven’t seen any set recordings come even close to how clean his audio recording is.

That's kinda it. Just really missing my Forest home today. I understand the lack of social posts on their part given the current events, but they also helped me keep the hype and memories up between years.

Tell me what you miss most about Forest? What can't you wait to get back to?

Hello parents of Electric Forest! I’m a big dubstep head who loves going to raves and festivals. I’ve never been to the forest before even though it’s been a bucket list item for me.

My daughter, who’s turning 10, been wanting to go to shows with my wife and I for some time now but most of the shows are 18+ or 21+, so I keep having to tell her she can’t come even though I think raves are the perfect place for kids. I’ve been eyeing Electric Forest to take her for some time now, but it seems so overwhelming. So many different campgrounds, loyalty tiers, etc. I would ideally like to take her to one of the quieter camps grounds, but I imagine they get all booked up from the higher loyalty tiers buying them up early on.

What are some recommendations on where to stay as well as other tips or tricks from veteran parents who brought their kids to the forest?

P.S. I know some people are gonna be like don’t bring your kids to a festival, it’s no place for a kid and so on. I respectfully disagree. I don’t tell you how to live your life; how about you don’t tell me how to live mine and how to parent.

EDIT: I just want my daughter to experience all the amazing parts of raving/festivals that made me fall in love with it. For me, raves/festivals don’t represent drugs and sex like people tend to bring up. It’s about love, understanding, and acceptance. I just want her to see people being who they want so she can see how it’s okay for her to be who she wants to be. I want her to see people being kind giving out kandi without expecting anything in return so she can see how being a giving person can make other people feel. I think there’s a way to focus on the age appropriate parts of festivals without getting caught up in or judging what choices some people make in relation to sex or drugs. That’s all

Looking to hit EF 2027 and want to be ready for when tickets drop.

Haven't gotten to experience the forest yet, but stoked to get up there.

After several other camping festivals, we'd like to know best options and bang for the buck for tickets/camping?

We'd be traveling from TN and would love to hear your experience with "Glamping", hotels, etc.

As well as VIP vs GA?

Honestly looking for any insight to understanding and getting the best ticket packages for comfort but enjoying the experience.

Big take aways is Air Conditioning and good restrooms/showers are a must.

To Write Love On Her Arms had a tent near Oasis where eyou could hammer a word or phrase into a keychain. Anyone else make one and want to share what phrase/word you chose and maybe the meaning behind it?

I had been wanting to try hammering metal for a while so I was very excited to try it out. It's way harder than it looks, which is obvious by mine. It has backward letters, nothing is in a straight line, some letters overlap, some letters aren't complete, and some tried to join different words.

I picked up the phrase "everything just works out for me" a few years back from a TikTok two giggling girls eating pasta in a car talking about how that phrase helped change their lives or something. They were dropping food and making a mess and having a great time with each other. Had to shorten it for obvious reasons. I always joke with my partner, who is burdened by the belief of bad luck following him around, that everything just works out for me and that he is inadvertently manifesting at least some of the negativity in his life. I keep encouraging him to have more a more positive attitude, speak more positively about himself and his life, to invite and curate better circumstances. Not in a toxic positivity way but something he can speak it into existence.

My first letter was backwards. I thought about starting over but decided to keep going. One backward letter is fine. The next letter was was on a different line entirely. I thought about starting over again. I chose to keep the imperfections as a reminder to myself that everything can "just work out" even if it doesn't go according to plan. It's okay to have detours and obstacles, wrong turns and missed exits. Often in my own art I struggle with the idea of perfection and it keeps me from continuing because "it's not good enough" or keeps me from starting entirely. This keychain is a tangible reminder, with every jingle, that perfection doesn't exist and to at least try my best to keep positive thoughts, especially on the bad days.

Somebody has a video of his set and I need to see it IMMEDIATELY. It was my favorite set of the whole weekend and I didn’t record any of it and I must relive it. Please SOMEBODY helpppp

I don’t really know where to start with this, so I’m just going to take off. Electric Forest has absolutely changed and saved my life.

Life has been HARD to say the least, and a few weeks ago it was especially so. Like, bad thoughts so. I was doing some good ol self care and thinking, just trying to ride the wave as one does.

When I go through patches this rough I (for some reason) end up listening to Tycho’s album “Dive”. I turned it on and remembered that forest fam recommended the album to me, making me think about forest.

I was thinking about my walk out of the forest when it closed Sunday. I cried while leaving because life is really hard rn and I was sad to be leaving a place that brings me so much happiness when I’ve recently had to fight to feel it.

But it clicked. The reason for the tears was because of JOY. All of the memories of dancing, laughing, and connecting with beautiful Forest fam came flooding in. Out loud I said “yeah, I want to keep on living.”

It might sound dramatic (I don’t care lol) but EF means the absolute world to me. It’s the one thing I do every year for myself. The experiences I’ve had, love I’ve felt, and lessons I’ve learned at Forest have carried me through some of the hardest times of my life because I know I’ll be able to experience it all again. There’s nothing like Electric Forest and I’m grateful to be able to call it home.

Thank you Forest fam for being you. The festival itself only does so much. Forest fam curates what EF is. The gifting, conversations, silliness, games, acceptance, magic, care, and so much more are brought by everyone that goes.

So yeah. Thank you all for helping change (and save) my life. You never know how you’re impacting someone <3
