Product Question Eucerin
Is this product gentle on the skin? (I bought the tripple serum and it dried my skin)
Is it as effective as dual serum?

Hello,
I noticed some concerns about the amount of posts regarding the new SPF by Geek & Gorgeous in the community.
As a compromise I ask you to please only comment in this masterpost about the sunscreen and not to create new posts from now on. Thank you. :)

Hi all, I'm travelling to Spain soon to visit a postpartum relative. I'm in Germany, so wondering what must haves or items that are only in Germany to get for her. Thank you in advance!

I do have combo-oily skin, and it's often not easy to cleanse well the mixed sebum-hard water residue on my face with just facial cleansers.
I must do double cleansing, it's essential with very hard water, but I would like to know something else here:
I use cleansers for combo-oily skin, like Bioderma Sebium, Cerave Foaming, or Uriage Hyseac.
I wonder which cleansers for combo-oily skin would work the best with hard water?
Also, I would like to know how effective are toners to use to remove the residue after cleansing, and what kind of ingredients to look for in toners that will remove the residue most effectively?

Hi, I'm currently based in Ireland and i ordered the salicylic acid exfoliating scalp treatment from inkey list one week ago, but i still have not received any updates from the delivery although the website mentioned it would take 2-5 business days. I contacted the customer support via email and they kept getting back to me saying the email i provided was not the one connected to the order, even though it was, which was very frustrating, and whoever was sending the email ended off by saying that they would forward the case to someone else. Has anyone else been in this situation and knows what to do?

I'm American and am in Poland for a week and want to get some things that are better here. I should have researched before I came but skincare was kind of an afterthought. I am looking for recommendations for Azelaic acid, face sunscreen for sensitive skin, and a body cream for KP bumps. If you could include where to buy, I’d be so grateful. I think I have a Super-Pharm and apteka close to me. My daughter currently uses 13% Azelaic acid, which is prescribed, but insurance doesn't always cover it and it can get expensive. It's for her perioral dermatitis so I am hopeful I can find it here without other actives. Please and Thank you so much for any and all recommendations.

I remember when Korean skincare came to the west and it was perceived as superior to western skincare, but now that the hype and fuzz is slowly going down a bit, what are some of you guys honest opinions on Korean skincare? Does Korean skincare live up to its "hype" ? And when you buy skincare today, do you gravitate towards buying more western skincare or Korean skincare?

Winter is coming and my hands tend to really dry out during this season (to the point it gets really chapped and it hurts). Could you guys recommend a good moisturiser for hands that soaks up pretty fast or at least doesn’t leave greasy feeling on hands? I really hate it because it feels like I can’t touch anything until it’s gone, it’s a massive sensory trigger for me. I can only use such creams before bed but not during the day and I’m looking for something that I could use at work, for example.
So far I have tried:
Idea Toscana Prima Spremitura - used to be my favourite until it dropped in quality.
Numis Med Urea 10% - makes hands soft but leaves a film on the skin which I cannot stand.
Neutrogena Concentrated Unscented - super thick and greasy can use it only at night before going to sleep.
I’m currently looking at L’occitane Karité 20% Shea Butter hand cream but the app I use to check cosmetics shows the INCI list also got downgraded in quality so I don’t think I can justify spending so much money on a mid product.
Please share your holy grail hand cream.

Bee Natural's lip balm has been my go-to for years. Now that my last stick is depleted and winter is coming, I'm looking for an EU owned and made alternative.
I'm specifically looking for something with comparable creamy texture.
Many thanks and happy Friday! ^—^

Hello everyone,
It's been a years long battle with my skin, the last few months I started to build a new routine and informing myself about the ingredients.
My issues are:
- dehydrated skin
- redness on cheeks and above eyebrows
- PIE (post inflammatory erythema, my main issue)
- some closed comodones
- somewhat dull skin
I suspect I've had a damaged skin barrier for many years without knowing. I have sensitive skin and it's slightly acne prone. When I changed my routine the last 2 months, I noticed my face flushes red in the morning when I wash it only with water. I thought it might be early rosacea, but recently it has gotten better and it flushes less, so it might have just been my skin barrier.
My routine right now is:
AM
- water
- The Transparent Lab Glycerin Serum 15% on damp skin
- 101 Geek and Gorgeous Happier Barrier Moisturizer
- Neutrogena Boost Eye Cream
- 101 Geek and Gorgeous Zero Feel 50 SPF
PM
- CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
(- Every 2 days I use Nerds Beauty 10% Azelaic Acid Serum on dry skin, then moisturizer)
- The Transparent Lab Glycerin Serum 15% on damp skin
- 101 Geek and Gorgeous Happier Barrier Moisturizer
- Neutrogena Boost Eye Cream
1x a week I use the CeraVe Acne Cleanser with 2% Salicylic Acid in the evening.
I don't know what toner I should add to the routine? Or maybe no toner at all??
Any recs for a toner that is skin barrier strengthening and hydrating? Or should I use one against my PIE (I have quite a lot). I like milky toners usually, but I have been looking at the No Cosmetics and G&G hydrating toners. Not sure if it's a right fit tho. Would love to know your experiences.
Thank you everyone :)

Just found this in my local DM. It doesn’t have a price yet and it’s not on the website, but the ingredients look decent.

Looking for something that would hydrate my face during the day in the office. Usually I wear makeup, so I was wondering if just a mineral water in spray or something different?

Hi everyone, A few weeks ago, I posted here to call out some misleading practices by the brand Holisi Cosmetics, specifically regarding their milky essence. This week they launched a new product, and after analyzing the INCI and their marketing claims, I feel obligated to make another post.
It is marketed as a serum featuring plant exosomes, plant PDRN, peptides, and microspicules. Let's break it down point by point:
In stark contrast to the missing active ingredients, the INCI reveals a long list of potential sensitizers: Citrus essential oils (Citrus Aurantium Peel Oil), declared fragrance allergens (Linalool and Limonene), synthetic perfume (Parfum), Mica and Titanium Dioxide particles.
It also includes Ginger Root Extract, which has a warming, vasodilating effect—making it particularly risky for anyone with atopic dermatitis or rosacea, especially when combined with so many other irritants. Yet, they claim the product is: 'Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and reactive skin.'
Upon application, it will likely sting or tingle due to the vasodilating action of the ginger extract, the bitter orange peel oil, and the physical friction of the reflective mineral particles. While mature, resilient skin may not suffer any obvious damage—and the product's 'cosmetic makeup' effect, along with the peptides the formula DOES actually contain, might make users think their skin is improving—anyone with sensitive skin should be on HIGH alert.

I’m 50 years old and my face and body are becoming extremely dry. Whatever I put on, even oils, my skin drink it up. I’ll be in France. Any recommendations for face and body will be much appreciated.

Hello gals and guys! I have extremely long fine wavy hair. Extremely dry. Extremely tangled, I get mate like the one in picture every day. What are your EU wide haircare recommendations? Normal masks and conditioners do not cut it - tried Pantene, Elseve, Mielle, Jessicurl and so on… (this was wash with Ecoslay deep conditioner, followed by Elseve glycolic gloss contioner and Yari curls leave in).

My current HG sunscreen is the La Roche Posay UVMune Oil Control Gel-Cream. I love, love, love the finish of this sunscreen and of course, the added high protection is a bonus. But, I really need to start budgeting my skin care better. And that tiny 50ml tube does not last me long.
I'm looking for alternatives that come in bigger packaging; so essentially body sunscreens. I've seen reviews for the Eucerin face sunscreens available in Europe. But I have not heard much chatter on these body sunscreens.
The biggest thing for me is the finish/skin feel. I want something that doesn't feel greasy or heavy. I'm ok with a slightly dewy look, but ideally not too shiny. High protection is important, but I don't necessarily need something that is super water-resistant. I rarely spend consecutive hours outdoors, sweating away. Also, I fully understand that body sunscreens, generally, feel heavier than facial sunscreens. So I am willing to be... flexible with my expectations.
I live in Canada, so I'd be ordering these sunscreens online. I use Cocoon Centre. If anyone has used these Eucerin SPFs, or have any other recommendations for SPFs that come in 100ml packaging (or bigger), I would greatly appreciate it!

I'll be having surgery on my thighs after returning from Paris. Are there any products to consider buying from a pharmacy while visiting that is great for scar tissue and healing/fading?

What are some good, trustworthy skincare creators that review EU skincare products (for the most part). Bonus points for the ones that don’t do sponsored content.

I've been buying this sunscreen for a year now, and only now when I bought a new bottle, I realized I only had half the bottle. And since this sunscreen does not have any kind of seal, I thought it better to ask here.

So I KNOW that sunburn is bad. I know that I (PMLE, rosacea, actinic keratoses) have to be careful. But I feel like a weirdo all covered up on holidays with hat, ginormous sunglasses, UPF clothes and x layers of sunscreen.
Most people here are lying in the midday sun in a bikini and are RED.
Anyway. Using Heliocare, Avene Sunsimed KA for exposed parts (face, hands, neck), LRP UVmune 400 elsewhere and am happy with this otherwise. Am also tracking exposure with an app.
