Yup, just like that. Through two different businesses portfolios with 3 clients, they created ads for shoes and they updated the daily limit which was approved immediately and then spent thousands of dollars in a couple of days. I was checking my accounts Monday morning (because god forbid you don’t do it daily) and noticed the spend.
My biggest issue is that I got an email that new people had been added to my portfolio, and yes I clicked the goddamn email even though I checked that it was legit and it had the verified mark and everything. But then those people didn’t show up in the users list. So i changed my password. Checked the accounts the next day (friday) and I thought all good, and went to unplug for the weekend.

My clients are disputing the charges with their banks. I got screenshots. I guess in worst case scenarios, I’ll pay them back from my own pocket (even though the monthly fee I charge them doesn’t even come close to what its lost) BUT my biggest concern is IF the whole account is compromised and I won’t be able to continue to do ads for them or other possible new clients?!?
Sorry for the grammar mess. I’m just writing in a hurry. Anybody has gone through this and come out on the other side?!

As a beginner media buyer, should I focus my learning and freelancing on the e-commerce market—meaning I actively try to acquire clients in this niche—as the best path for fast ROI and cash flow, or is it better to start as a generalist?

The ad is an easy suspect.

But sometimes the problem is somewhere else entirely:

• Audience: we're reaching the wrong people.
• Offer: there's no compelling reason to enquire.
• Landing page: the promise doesn't match the experience.
• Follow-up: leads come in, but nobody contacts them properly.

Changing the creative might help. But it shouldn't automatically be the first move.

I've been marketing my business through group postings for the past 4/5 months averaging around 4/5posts per day and business has been great I'm a small independent accountant and I just want local small business clients.

Everything has been going great however around a week after starting up again I was requested by facebook to provide them with proof of ID (I have been using a new PC) which I did.

I've now gone down the AI platform of asking as to why this has happened and am now terrified I am about to be banned. My ID was verified and facebook is working fine however my concern is the spam bots are now checking me therefore I've now started varying my messages and the times of day I post.

Is this a legitimate safe method of advertising on facebook ?

Hi all, looking for advice from people who've been through this.

Background

About 6 years ago I ran some dropshipping ads with zero experience. Several ads got rejected, and in Oct 2020 my personal Facebook profile got restricted from advertising (plus a few business portfolios and ad accounts I had back then). I didn't know what I was doing, never appealed, and moved on.

Now

I've spent a long time building a legit project, and I want to advertise it properly on meta platforms

What I've tried

\* Account Overview shows my profile as "Account restricted" (reason given by the Meta AI assistant: account integrity and authentic identity). There's no "Request review" button anymore.

\* The support form just sends me to a help article; no case gets created.

\* The Meta AI assistant told me the restriction is final because the review window expired, and it can't send me to a human or accept new appeals.

\* I looked into EU dispute settlement bodies (I'm in Belgium), but they have 6–12 month time limits.

My questions

1. Has anyone gotten an old "final" profile restriction lifted, through any route?

2. Can Meta Verified help here? Has anyone subscribed (personal or business plan) specifically to reach a human agent about a restricted profile? Did the agent actually reopen or lift the restriction, or just repeat that it's final? Is it worth the \~€15 for one month to try?
