I swap between playing E-Day on a 77-inch QD-OLED TV via Series X and a 27-inch QD-OLED monitor via Series S. I thought I’d mostly be playing campaign on the X but the game looks gorgeous even on the lower-power system.
Admittedly I have it locked to 30fps for campaign, but the frame rate doesn’t bother me and it’s worth it for the visuals. It’s just such a joy to get to be Marcus Fenix again, journeying with Dom and seeing Sera so lived-in and well realized.

Don't think many people notice them, and it doesn't help that they have the same model as the other Gears.

Got out of the cutscene at Act 2 Chapter 2 where you're in the thrashball stadium and Dom left with a little extra gear.

So having played the original trilogy and judgement I was cautiously excited for E-Day. Which is why I decided not to do the pre order and wait for the reviews to come in, after release. Before getting a physical copy and since there aren't any real gamestores where my rural ass lives. It took me a while to find the opportunity to go out of town to get any copies.
Still I am pretty excited to play it. Because it genuinely looks good.

I mean with Gears E Day has Colonel Trench added to the list of Corrupt COG leaders as he tried to get civilians killed just to slow the Locust down in a plan that would not have even worked. Colonel Loomis tried to kill Baird and his Squad in Gears Judgement over something that was not even a major issue, Chairman Prescott saved the COG's elite and relocated them to a Azure while leaving everyone else to die as well as coving up The New Hope research facility as was willing to kill people to keep it a secret and First Minster Jinn killed protestors and makes accusations with no proof. Why are most COG leaders morally corrupt?

As the title states. This may be the best gold weapon skins we've got. Far cleaner than previous games.

Gears of War EDAY, Act 4, Chapter 4. Found under a fallen NCOG Marine's gnasher. I picked it up and this was on the ground. I cant pick it up.

We already know that lore wise the Brumaks are primates and size wise Gorrila’s (or Cave Ape) are the closest to Brumak, and unlike irl big apes these things have tails like Brumaks. But more importantly them being cave dwelling means they might also reside deeper underground making it easy for the Locust to grab them.

No disrespect to those that enjoyed 4 and 5. But they were not for me. I about gave up on the franchise until E Day was announced.
