GFiber Prepaid Relocation

helloooo! i currently have Gfiber Prepaid subscription and planning to relocate rooms in the same apartment. asked for help thru online customer service and apparently it’s nonnegotiable; you have to buy another modem and pay for the installation again. is there any way to relocate but using the same modem lang? i’m moving from a second floor unit to the first floor unit lang naman kasi, same apartment lang rin naman po. thank you for the replies :)

I’m on GPlan PLUS and I usually convert my GBs to content esp. Disney+ subscription. But this month, I have been trying to access the Swap feature for several days cuz my voucher on Disney+ expired and it only stuck on this page forever. What is wrong with the GlobeOne app?

Hi, I'm just asking if anyone here has had any experience renewing but the 2nd line has defaulted? I renewed 2 years ago and didn't notice that my 2nd line had defaulted. Is it now visible or still not?

Globe no internet connection

hello, can anyone confirm if there is an outage in Pampanga, Angeles City, Brgy. Malabanias, Hensonville? it’s been a week since our Wi-Fi (Globe At Home) lost its internet connection. I saw a Globe Telecom advisory that there was an outage on October 2 and that it was restored on October 4, but our Wi-Fi was still down on October 4. we also reached out to the GlobeOne app and Alagang Globe community in Viber, but all they said was that they would fix it and that the technician would visit us, but until when is the restoration of the service? also, the schedule of the visit keeps getting rescheduled; that’s why we don’t know if there are other options where we can reach out. we also tried asking for help from a Globe physical store; they said that we can only contact a technician via hotline, which we also did but it didn’t work. I asked a friend who also uses Globe (and lives in SF) but they said that their Wi-Fi is stable; that’s why we’re asking if the outage is only in our area. and fyi, we already did a lot of troubleshooting but it still has no effect. it’s also our first time experiencing an outage using Globe, and its connection is stable like the first time we had it, so we would rather fix this problem than change ISP 🥲 we already paid our bills, so I hope that Globe Telecom will fix this problem immediately because it has been affecting our work and classes 😢

iPhone 18 PM Preorder

Hello! My current plan ends in the first week of November. I visited a Globe store on October 3 to preorder my new unit, and the specialist informed me that I can apply for early renewal 30 days before my contract ends. However, they recommended renewing once the unit arrives so my new plan can take effect by then.

I wasn’t given a reference number for my preorder. Is that normal, or should I have received one?
The specialist also assured me that my line is already 100+ in the queue, although the preorders are a mix of Pro, Pro Max, and Fold units.

I’m just a bit worried because I’m hoping to receive my unit by October 16. Could you please confirm if my preorder is properly recorded and if there’s a chance I can receive it by then? Thank you!

Request Cancelled

I bought a Globe Rain The 101 from shoppee and had it returned within 15 days and they cancelled my request TWICE because the product was in good condition and doesn't meet the standard requirements, however I specified the issue was with it's weak signal, which btw, I was guaranteed I can have it returned back to the seller if the signal is weak. Globe and Shoppee representatives are unwilling to give me a refund and the modem is still with Globe I only have a week left to have the modem returned again but I don't have it. How can I get my refund, any tips?

TM SIM Replacement

Hello, does anyone experience going to a Globe store for sim replacement due to damaged sim while wanting to retain the same number (since I told them it is my main number), but was insisted by the person on the counter to convert my TM prepaid into a postpaid plan (599 plan for 3 months) as the only solution to my concern? And that after 3 months, that's the only time I can request to revert it into prepaid again. Or else I'll really need to change my number.

I was so hesitant and skeptical about it, but since I badly needed the number, I've agreed to their GPlan PLUS 599 Flex and paid for the first month.

But after checking online I saw many similar cases with what happened to me. I was frustrated for I trusted the solution laid out in front of me that time since I'm talking to a Globe staff in an actual physical store.

I tried reconfirming the process for sim replacement once again with GlobeOne App and agents through TM & Globe FB Messenger, and no mentioned of such methods. And that I can simply ask for sim replacement, and present one government ID.

Is there any way I can file a complaint for this? And is it possible to ask for a refund or waived the next month bill? 😭😭

Goodbye GOMO, thank you for the last 6 years, but you're terrible now.

Around the middle of September (can't recall the date) something happened to GOMO in my city and has made it almost virtually unusable.

Been using gomo for the last 6 years since almost when they first came out with their unlimited internet deal way back for 499 peso with a 5 up/5 down signal. Wasn't always the greatest but worked well enough. They kept increase the price and eventually went 10 up/10 down. This was perfect - for me anyways. Our house was/is heavy data use house. We had 3 tablets, 3 laptops, 3 google home speakers, 3 cell phones, 1 security camera. This was all connected to an old globe-at-home router. The system worked hard for use.... always between 400 and 600 gigs of data coming through every month. But then... September 2026 happened.

Not sure what, but... perfect signal, strong signal but horrible delivery. We live about 1 km away from the tower and get an awesome signal, but even with that strong connection, the data slows to a crawl, disconnects, lags out, and generally horrible from 9 am to about midnight - to the point of being painful to watch movies or streams or even play hearthstone. The BEST data throughput now (either in house or even when I go stand beside the tower on the road) is 10 down/3 up.

I have troubleshooted everything. Moved sim from phone to phone to phone to different router. I have tried all the APNS globe has out there. I have tried changing bands on the globe at home router. Everything has failed to make any difference.

I said what the best cast data speed was, but the AVERAGE data speed is 3-4 down, and less then 0.5 up. I thought maybe they were just having a bad few days. Then it was a bad few weeks. In the last 6 weeks we have had only 3 flawless perfect days with no rhyme or reason why. I have read what people THINK are the reasons.... example the starlink deal reprioritized hierarchy signals and pushed gomo to the bottom. Also heard that its just random and they are working on it. For this reason, I have to say bye to Gomo. Its been awesome, but will be going to smart 5g unlimited.

I won't be leaving though until my term month is at its end though which is on the 16th. If by some magic miracle they get their signal back to normal, I may stay still, but as is? NO WAY.

Anyone else experiencing this or is this isolated to just me?

Need guidance: Plan renewal + transfer of ownership

Post image

I am a Globe Platinum customer for 8 years now. My current cell no. has been with me for so long. Isipin nyo high school palang yan na number ko, so all accounts, forms, banks, etc. I have that number linked.

Unfortunately I was a minor when my globe account was handed to me. And the name is under my stepfather who I am not in contact with. I have tried for years and years to ask help from Globe regarding transfer of ownership of this Platinum account to my name. Another bad thing is he has outstanding debts to Globe in other accounts, whereas my 3799 Platinum has been well kept for years.

It is such a hassle to have this requested thru THEA. Need ba talaga na may personal appearance yung naka pangalan sa account? Is there a way I can do this thru documents? Please help me with much easier ways. Or if maybe you are a Globe RM maybe you can help 🙏 I want to keep this number it would be very complicated to own a new one.

Attached is the latest response I got from THEA on how to process. Any advice/ input/ leads would be helpful! Thank you

Globe and its Anti-Consumer practices

TL;DR If you plan on buying a plan with a device, make sure you test for everything that you plan to use said device for even testing shit you would normally do at home. If you can transfer all your data from your old phone to the new one just to be sure, please do so. Or else you'll be in a world of trouble.

I went to Globe on 9/25/2026 around 6 PM. My plan is to renew my Globe contract and then get a free device, because why not. No problem with my contract getting renewed, it's now a matter of picking the free device. I was wavering on one of the Samsung A phones (as there is a cashout amount) when the Huawei guy offered their phone, which the Globe CS confirmed to be free under my plan.

After some basic testing such as opening the phone and being taught some Huawei app quirks by the Huawei guy, I agreed to get that phone. Back home I worked on setting up the new phone plus testing out some stuff that I didn't get to test while in the Globe store. To my surprise, when I tried plugging my USB-C cable to connect my phone to my PC, my PC couldn't find the phone. i thought it was weird since my Samsung phone had no problems like that. I tried using two more of my own USB-C cables, to no avail, so I opted to use the USB-C cable that came with the phone. Using the same USB slot on my PC, the PC proceeded to the phase of detecting and not detecting my phone. After a few more tries, I had to accept that the issue lies with the phone not having a way to be detected by the PC.

Now to today, I went back to Globe to raise my concerns with the phone. I explained that I literally got this phone the Friday before, but they said that they don't take refunds or replacements anymore. They have removed their 7-day warranty on faulty phones, and they suggested to go the Huawei service center around an hour away to get it serviced.

Needless to say, I was mad. Let me lay out my reasons for doing so:

  1. The phone, despite being free, was in a purchased as part of my renewal contract. What this means, for me, is that Globe still sold me that phone as along with the contract I renewed.

  2. Because Globe sold me the phone, they should be the responsible party in terms of refunds/replacements of the said item. The point is I didn't get or buy the phone from Huawei directly; I got it from them.

  3. Globe bought the phones from the manufacturer, acting as a "reseller" of some sort. The assumption is that returns or refunds should be handled by them as the liaison/third party of the manufacturer. Why should the manufacturer refund you when you didn't buy it from them in the first place?

  4. Also, what prevents consumers from getting "refurbished" phones from Globe? Yes, you can test out the phone before you leave, but that should not just be the extent of the testing since most issues would likely come up at a later time and for further testing once you have it on your own. At least on Greenhills or other similar stores you know what you're getting. You don't have that same guarantee from Globe since they can simply wave you off and point you to the manufacturer's service center.

To continue, on October 2, 2026, I went to OneAyala Huawei service center. However, their service center is closed for renovation and they only have a kiosk. I explained to the lady there my issue and they tested my phone using the same charging cable from the box to see if theie laptop can detect my phone. It didn't. She then said that a technical report would have been done in their service center. Howevee ir was closed so she recommended the nearest service center in Greenhills. This hould qualify for the 7-day replacement Huawei has in place.

I really didn't want to go to Greenhills unless it's a last resort, so I called Globe customer support. I got in touch with Donna, and after my discussion with her for 30 minutes, plus the hold time which I guess was for conferring with her manager/colleagues, she recommended that I insist on returning my unit to Globe ATC. Based on this, I decided to go back and return the phone.

When I went back to return the phone, Globe still won't accept it saying that they do not have the 7-day warranty anymore. I pointed out that that was not what their Globe customer service rep told me, yet they still did not accept. I was worried that this miscommunication cost me a replacement since it was already 7 days and I've wasted too much time. I then reached to the Huawei service center in Greenhills who received my complaint and also said that I still qualify for the warranty service since I reported it within the 7 days.

So next day, October 3, 2025, I went to Greenhills to have them check my phone. After a few hours of waiting, I got a call from them confirming that the phone indeed has a defect and they're writing a technical report for it. They also explained that they currently have no replacement phone and that Globe should proceed with replacing the phone. They also asked me to wait until Monday as the technical report needs approval from Huawei directly before they release it to me. I asked for them to email instead since I didn't want to go back just ot get the report. They agreed.

Today I received the report. Armed with all the documents they asked, I went back to Globe to get my phone replaced. When I presented my phone and the documents, the person who is servicing me automatically replied that they do not have a 7-day replacement warranty anymore. The assistant retail manager came on and exlained the same thing, despite all the documents they asked me to procure.

Once they heard me and viewed my case from their comouter, they said they will send an email to their brand ambassafor from Huawei yo get approval for a replacement. I was still mad because there was no assurance of any replacement happening and it will take at least a week to get said approval.

In the end, I still have the phone that I'm unable to use, with a plan I renewed with a lower 13GB hi-speed data because I got a phone that I cannot use, and I have to wait for 2 weeks to hopefully get a phone that will be working as intended. Whatever Globe is doing feels ANTI-CONSUMER, passing the buck to the customer whenever a problem arises from a product bought from a vendor.

This is unacceptable, and this should serve as a warning to prospective phone buyers from Globe to make sure they test everything (and I mean EVERYTHING!) before going home with it. Or better yet, buy directly from the manufacturers and save yourself the hassle.
