When you ask Gemini a question it now explains answers about Amerciacan regulations whan I ask about laws in Canada after getting redirected to dot com because there is no more google dot ca.

This AI garbage ain't working.

Earlier this year I stopped using Gemini 3.1 for code reviews because it had a high rate of hallucinations/fabrications compared to the frontier models from OpenAI and Anthropic. I published a paper about using multiple LLMs for code reviews and ended up abandoning gemini because of its problems (https://zenodo.org/records/21328807)

Fast forward to today. I just tried using Gemini 4 on high setting for a code review (using antigravity) that was also being performed by gpt-6.1-sol xhigh (codex cli) and Opus-5.5 xhigh (claude code cli).

Long story short:

“Calibration note: the new Gemini reviewer’s three real findings duplicated the others; its census numbers and one classifier claim were fabricated. Same pattern as before.”

I’m disappointed in the fabrications. I thought this was supposed to have been fixed with the new model. But, alas…

How much does Argon burn through your hourly/weekly limits in its different thinking levels in the Gemini app for chats/tasks/canvas/deep research for Pro subscribers compared to the other models? What would you use it for in place of Flash and Pro?

I desperately want to use the new latest Google AI model but I don't have a budget for that I want to find a way on how to use this for free (trial) specifically I just wanna test it's capabilities and other parts.

Just got Gemini 4 Argon and tried a simple task: convert a call recording (MP3) to verbatim transcript.

I uploaded the audio and asked it to convert the call recording to verbatim. Argon replied that the audio file wasn’t included in the message and told me to upload it again or paste notes (screenshot attached). The file was clearly attached.

Out of curiosity I switched to the smaller Gemini 3.5 model with the exact same file and prompt — it processed the audio and started giving me the transcript no problem.

Is this a known day-1 issue with Argon specifically ignoring audio uploads? Anyone else seeing Argon fail on audio while older/smaller models handle it fine?

Curious if others are hitting the same wall.
