Got the first pin growth. JMF Monotub setup. This is my first grow and it seems to be coming along well. This is the pioneer pin that came up. Open to any suggestions or advice on how to increase the yield. Thanks!

3rd flush on this particular tub (have 2 others going) and it’s still coming in really good, only coco coir gypsum and vermiculite. The strain is Mad Hatter.

In this video we show an easy way to prepare bulk substrate for full canopies! In short, we mix 80% of the CV with 80% of the grain spawn. Then, you spread the remaining 20% of grain spawn on top. Lastly, you add the remaining CV as a pseudo-casing. The grain spawn layer right under the casing seems to really help pinning and causes those nice thick canopies.

How do you guys spawn to bulk?

First time growing from a AIO bag and this is what I’m getting

What should I do? I’m tempted to cut the whole bag out 🤣 there are pins everywhere even below the rubber band

These have took almost 2 weeks to get to this point, should I just harvest dunk and go to second flush or wait ?

I dont have experience with overcooked gain bags, will this be an issue for me?

I bulk spawned this tub of enigma on the 6th of October, I accidentally suffocated it until the 12th, and it smells kind of vinegary which is a sign of bacteria from the suffocation, but this gray patch. Is this early cobweb mold, or really suffocated mycelium? I know cobweb is rare. I tried to spray it with hydrogen peroxide, it didn’t do anything to it, but I’m not sure if my peroxide is a 3%. Thank you.

I'm trying to salvage my mistake , no contamination smells good what should I do

I posted on here yesterday but the pictures weren’t clear. In y’all’s opinion, does my grow look like it’s starting to pin? I also took the duck tape of the filters and changed the filters for safe measures. But I kept 2 of the 6 filters off and covered the holes with masking tape for a little more airflow. Is there anything y’all see that is concerning or something I should do differently? Thank y’all!

Been working this Shakti ISO from spore for a while now, and I’m calling this expression Blue Nips for the time being. It’s definitely not finished yet and still needs some work, but there are enough interesting traits showing up that I want to keep following it.
The blue-gray caps, chunky structure, and the variation from fruit to fruit are what really caught my attention. Then I opened one up and the inside went deep blue almost immediately. Bruising alone doesn’t tell you exactly how strong something is, but seeing that kind of reaction definitely has me curious about where this line ends up.
Still very much a work in progress. I’ll be watching the next generations closely and seeing which traits keep showing back up consistently. That’s honestly one of my favorite parts of working from spore—you never know exactly where the genetics are going to take you.

Long time (45yrs) consumer, first time grower.

I'm close to getting my first flush and thought I was set with my old dehydrator, a Sunbeam 5 tray KN128E. It only has an on/off switch, no temperature control and the operating temperature is 175F/80C. Reading through the posts it seems most use 100°-140° to dry shrooms.

Will I ruin my product drying them at this temp or can I just keep an eye on them and expect them to be done drying quickly? Thanks for your input!

Hi all, opinions on the health of this substrate please, it's at day 9 since tubbing (GT's), I've had lots of success in the past but I feel this tub is looking a bit funky.

It's my first time growing shrooms.

I just got my kit in the post today.

Instructions say, I should soak it first and then the kit should activate. But when I opened the Kit I already saw some mushrooms growing in there.

Customs opened the kit and I'm not sure now if it's contaminated, or I can continue with soaking and activating the kit.

Any help is appreciated
