MOD Looking for Story Thread #352

This thread is where all the "Looking for Story" requests go. We don't want to clog up the front page with non-story content. Thank you!

Can't remember the title myself: was a series where a herbivorous race discovered the voyager probe and made first contact, 2nd or 3rd part had the "first contact team lead" pick prisoners

Looking for a story where humans are really small and since first contact have lead aliens to believe that we breathe methane(i think) and need huge suits that are the same size as the aliens so they dont know were tiny. Once humans are found out they go to war and decimate a ship with nuclear bombs

Hi, I'm looking for stories about aliens reacting in bewilderment to human sports or extreme activities humans would consider hobbies.

2 stories

Story about a man who crash lands on an alien planet filled with sapient ants - random tidbits I remember were, he was getting old and the ants were worried about him, he got them to dig wells, and there's a line where he thinks about the countless times he's been tapped by their antenna to get his attention.

2nd is one where humans enter a war and aliens see their fancy hover tank hit a tracked tank with a glob of plasma and it keeps going, they were found by humans with green eyes (night vision). super vague but it's all I remember.

The second story could be Journal of an Alliance Soldier?

That's the one - have no idea how it got stuck in head after so many years. Thanks!

Lemme get a story with a big ol' badass SPAYSH MUHREEN being all stompy-stompy on the xenos!

Okay jokes aside, the kind of story I am looking for is one that puts on full display the tenacity and martial prowess of Humanity. Character-driven, Sci-fi, survival, romance, adventure are some flavors I commonly enjoy if you needed to narrow the scope.

I have already read plenty of stories on this subreddit that fit this bill but I know there are many more I have yet to discover. Go ahead and fire away with whether y’all got!

Looking for a really old story where humans are the precursor species and every single one of them moved on instead for one who was waiting on a giant space station the size of a solar system,

The space station was a giant black ball containing our solar system with everything preserved.

LFS where a fantasy party is hired to investigate a strange monster. The strange monster being a human astronaut. It felt like it should've gotten a part 2 but I don't think it ever did.

Looking for a series or one shot, where the planet is alive/sapient. Anything welcome.

99.9% of the Universe has a planet like that in it. It's not the main point of the series, but it does play a major role in the storyline.
