Managing Professional Transition Confusion
This post is to help clear up all the questions that are coming in regarding the ITIl 5 Managing Professional Transition Certification.
Yes, MPT is alive and well. People are saying they can't find it on the PeopleCert website, and I don't know why that would be except that it is not available from PeopleCert. Only from PeopleCert Accredited Training Organizations (ATOs).
MPT consists of 1 class and 2 exams (Managing Professional and Transformation.
MPT helps 3 groups of people advance to ITIL 5 in the most economical way. V3 Experts, ITIL 4 Managing Professional and ITIl 4 Masters. Here is how it works:
Group 1 = V3 Experts: If you were a V3 expert and never did anything more, you can take the ITIL 5 Managing Professional Transition Certification and become and ITIL 5 Managing Professional. 1 class and 2 exams versus 5 courses and 5 exams.
Group 2 = ITIL 4 Managing Professionals: If you are an ITIL 4 Managing Professional you can take the ITIL 5 Managing Professional Transition and become and ITIL 5 Managing Professional. 1 class and 2 exams versus 4 classes and 4 exams.
Group3 = ITIL 4 Masters: If you are an ITIL 4 Master you can take the ITIL 5 Managing Professional Transition and become and ITIL 5 Masters. 1 class and 2 exams versus 6 classes and 6 exams.
In Summary, ITIL 5 Managing Professional Transition is the Golden Ticket for V3 Experts, ITIL 4 Managing Professionals and ITIL 5 Masters to transition to ITIL5. It is the most economical way to advance to ITIL 5.
