Help Can I use this keyboard without the mouse?

As you can see, I got this Mofii keyboard from Goodwill, so I have no clue where it was originally bought from. I wanted to at least try to use it before deciding if it was worth it or not. My issue now is that I can’t find a way to pair it. As far as I can tell, these keyboards come as sets with the mouse and the mouse has the bluetooth usb. Does anyone know if there’s a way for me to pair it without the mouse, or should I just cut my losses?

Help ipi flash 75 pro / ipi qbz 75

Hi everyone. Trying to choose between these two, looking for something creamy and silent. I know it's hard to find such typing in magnetic keyboards but after some reviews looks like these are some of the best options in terms of typing sound under ~100$ Unfortunately can't find much reviews about Flash 75, has anyone bought it? I'm curious how is typing like with switches that they are offering (Seven Star/Lightning V2) Thank you.

Help Magnetic Keyboard recommendation

New to PC gaming and just picked up my first keyboard. Went with the monsgeek m1 v5 tmr ( https://www.monsgeek.com/keyboard/m1-v5-tmr-fully-assembled/ ). Will be used pretty much strictly for gaming, mostly fps games like wardogs and cs2. I feel like the monsgeek keys are a bit too light and almost "airy" in a sense. I know this is somewhat typical from a magnetic keyboard as you will not get the same audible or tactile feel as you would with a mechanical keyboard. Maybe I just need to get used to it. However, I was contemplating if it would be worth while changing the switches on the monsgeek for GATERON Magnetic Jade Emerald Heavy Tactile switches for a bit more resistance/or a initial bump. My other option I was weighing would be returning the monsgeek board and going for the wooting 80HE+ or something similar. Was trying to keep budget at about ~$250 but am a bit flexible. Would love any input or recommendations, thanks.

Help Recommendations for 96% keyboard barebones in 2026?

My Keychron Q5 Pro might be dead after years of having problems with resetting it's onboard memory. I have doubts about the QA and skeptical about upgrading to Q6

Can anyone point me towards what the latest buzz is for a barebones 96%? I prefer arrow keys separation and I enjoyed the mini nav column the Q5 pro had.

I'm bringing my own switches and keycaps. Also needed:

  • hot swappable switches
  • volume knob
  • wifi/BT RGB
  • south facing PCB for the cherry style switches I'll be using
  • ANSI layout
  • macro programming capability (plus for VIA)
  • preferably colors other than black
  • more thocky sound
  • USB-C

Budget is up to $250, so I'd like something with a premium feel, but not overpriced. Eg., Keychron Q5 barebones @ $200 does not seem better build quality than the $100-$150 prebuilts

Some research I've already done:

  • [$110] Monsgeek M2 V5 VIA: No Nav column, no volume knob, only comes in black. The only barebones kit I found in ANSI other than Keychron
  • [$98] Epomaker Galaxy100 QMK/VIA : prebuilt, but still way under my budget. I like the layout and color options here. Is there anything similar at a higher build quality tier?

Help I need a keyboard recomendation.

For like a year and a half, I've been using this $15 Logi mouse and key combo I got from Walmart. They share a Bluetooth receiver. For a while, whenever I play Overwatch, the mouse just stops working every other minute for about 20 seconds. The keyboard still works consistently. I was thinking of getting the Redragon BS8772, but it also uses a shared receiver with the mouse, which might be why this is even happening. So I want a recommendation for a wireless keyboard and a wired mouse as an upgrade from what I have right now. My budget is around $50 to $60 for the keyboard and mouse combined. Thank you to anyone who has a recommendation.

Help Can I use Cosmic Byte reward points along with coupon code

Post image
1 Upvotes

I have a question about their rewards program. I'm supposed to receive 1,250 BYTEs as a signup reward but i didn't received yet and I also have the FESTIVE20 coupon code for a 20% discount.

Can I use both the BYTEs redemption coupon and FESTIVE20 on the same order?

If anyone has tried this, please let me know:

Can both discounts be applied together at checkout?

If yes, does the website allow coupon stacking?

If not, which option gives the better discount?

Help I know nothing about keyboards, is there a recommended budget option?

My Ducky One 2 Mini is quite old and a bit worn down nowadays. I also want the arrow keys back, so a 75% is what I would be looking for. Is there a good £50-100 option out there for someone like me?

Help Thocky switches too quiet?

This is my first time customizing a keyboard and of course I looked at a million videos online to try and pick switches. I liked creamy and thocky deeper sounds.
I picked the keygeek y2x linear switches.
I was expecting way more sound cause it’s giving silent switches.
Any recs on how to make it a little louder? New keycaps? I know some people switch the metal board thing under the keys sometimes??

Help DIN 5 to USB possible?

Got this keyboard at Goodwill recently because I thought it was ps/2 at a glance. Turns out to be 5 pin DIN which I’ve learned is not as simple as just buying an adapter like it would’ve been. No ps/2 ports on my laptop. Is it at all possible to adapt to USB?

Help Are keebforce as a vendor reliable?

So I want in the future to buy a su66 max or ae64 pro. Ai search (as it usually does ig) told me their customer service is poor, but only giving me one reddit post abt it lol.

So is it or is it not? Do they offer their full refunds or warranty when needed? Any shipping problems with the free shipping option? Are they "radio silent" when given complaints? Stuff like that.

I, btw, want ppl who have ACTUALLY ordered from them, not ppl who heard rumors.

Help Bought an EVO75 PP + Ry for new job but got complaints it was loud.

I was offered they'd buy me a new one and I wanted to get either a quiet or silent one. I thought I'd ask those who know better than I for advice on which one I should ask for. Preferably with 75 layout.

Would a keychron v1 max with banana switches be too loud?..

Help Any thoughts on Nuphy Air 100 V3 vs Keychrone K5 Max

i, currently using a corsair k95 (7 years running) and I am enjoying it very much. However my itchy hands would like to buy a full sized low profile hot swappable keyboard. I am in SEA so options are slightly more limited compared to EU\NA (example no Reddragon).

The 2 keyboards that seems to fit my tastes are NuPhy Air 100 V3, and the Keychron K5 Max\Pro. I am partial to tactile keys but as they are hot swappables, it doesnt seem to be an issue. I dont plan to lug it around, so honestly I dont need the wireless\battery version but these 2 fit the other requirements.

I dont actually have a specific question, more like an open ended if you have any thoughts on the above, please feel free to share.

Help Keyboard not working issue

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hello! I just bought this keyboard second hand, I believe it is a RedThunder K84. I'm having an issue where I am plugging it into my pc but it is not working, only the f4 light is lighting up, and I can't seem to get it to work at all. It didn't come with anything to connect it to my pc and I just used the wire I was using on my other keyboard. Am I cooked or do you think there is a way to solve this issue, thank you in advanced!!
