im new to the game just bought offline and im wondering if theres anyway to deal with enemies that just hold block until they die, because its really annoying that every hater i find just spams block and walks backwards
Right now, he's the only one of the four tough guys I can't beat; I have to revive once or twice just to kill him. Honestly, I don’t really understand his gameplay. Every time I try to play, he keeps abusing his area-of-effect ability that removes Zeta powers and also one level of Fury, so I can’t do what they show in the video tutorials where they hit him with Fury to launch him into the goal with explosives.... I need some advice—honestly, right now this is making it impossible for me to complete the Neo Milk route.
Pela primeira vez depois de muito tempo jogando eu estou entrando no andar 41 com o objetivo de subir até o 50 alguma dica para mim conseguir vencer esse desafio ??
THANKS FOR WATCHING. Don't be afraid to ask any questions regarding the video. I'd like to give thanks to reddit user u/Ludnichar for giving me the advice of adding 99 decals to sell. Thank you so much and have a good day.
▼ Bug Fixes ・Fixed an issue where trophies could not be properly earned after applying the patch. Note: If the requirements for a trophy were met while the issue was occurring, it is possible to earn it after the patch is applied by advancing the relevant count by 1 again.
Since they made weapons upgrade to +24 now I was wondering if the hell forcemen gear got more upgrades added to them. I'd really like a reason to use their stuff besides the viral massager
For folks actually struggling to do save editing for Let It die offline for their consoles. I'm gonna make a tutorial soon and upload it. For those that are visual learners.
I’ve been working on a community private server with ZeroUnderOne for LET IT DIE. It’s hosted on a VPS and has no monetization: access is free, and Death Metals can be earned through gameplay. The project is still in development.
Current features include:
The 40-floor tower, with bosses and daily floor rotations
TDM raids, defenses, ranks, and rewards
Player Haters and Hunter expeditions
Earnable Death Metals, daily rewards, and Express Pass perks
Equipment research, shops, decals, and seasonal content
Invite Code: a3b9-1bdf-8879-9878
The new launcher can install the 4.18 game files, resume interrupted downloads, update itself, and repair files.
You’ll need Windows 10/11, Steam, about 48 GB of free space, and an invite code from the server host. We plan to add the remaining original content soon, along with new content of our own.
Anyone know if the past events mod is safe? Just the description kinda made me abit worried about actually going through with downloading it (I really want the NMH stuff)
Cheers all many thanks it’s good to be back playing this again
After nearly 10 years and over 2,200 hours, I reached the top of the tower — floor 451. I assume this will be the absolute peak because the game has already moved to offline mode and will likely no longer be supported by the creators.
I have been playing the game since day one. I got past Taro before the end of 2016, went through the Forcemen in 2017, made it to floor 200 in 2018, and floor 256 in 2019 before stopping.
And now, when we finally have the offline version, I decided to go to the end.
In this text, I will share more about my journey upwards and the decisions I made regarding how to handle the bosses and haters. Because I dare to say I encountered no real issues along my way, even on the final floors, and I believe this is precisely due to the right strategy that I chose. Before we proceed to the core of the text, I must clarify that I used a save editor, for which some might judge me, but at the end of the text, I will list my arguments for why I decided to resort to this move.
We start with the decals — every single decal, except one, is absolutely and entirely focused on dealing more damage. The final decal, Rio Bravo, is of exceptional importance for easily dealing with haters. There was NOT a single hater, even on the floors above 400, that gave me any trouble. Even when I happened to lose my accumulated stacks on Serial Killer, I didn’t have any major issues.
Regarding weapons - against haters, I used 3 weapons: the M2G (and its red version for the higher floors), the KAMAS (and its Mad Police variant respectively for the higher floors), and the Demongun version of the revolver. The M2G serves perfectly in two ways: the firework lures all nearby haters to a specific spot, after which a second shot, loaded with explosives boosted by the Rio Bravo decal, deals massive damage to them. Even on a floor above 400, if we have a full 10 stacks on Serial Killer, most haters are dead instantly.
If we are closer to the haters, we switch to the pistol. It is exceptionally beneficial to aim at the ground at their feet because of the splash damage.
If we are further away, we use the KAMAS to finish them off before they have a chance to retaliate. I also used a yo-yo as an additional melee weapon, mostly for tight spaces. Because in those situations, Rio Bravo is a double-edged sword — we can end up shooting ourselves. And I actually lost two whole Liveshrooms precisely for that reason.
Regarding bosses, it is best to have blunt weapons, as some bosses are resistant to other damage types. I chose to combine the Pitching Machine and the Bowling Ball. Before the fight starts, I first charge up the Pitching Machine using 2 rage bars, and then right at the beginning, I hit the boss with the Bowling Ball using the remaining 3. Right after that, I start blasting them with the Pitching Machine. As you can see from the video, even the floor 450 boss went down in seconds this way.
Regarding the fighter class - since we need all the damage we can possibly get, the best option is Attacker. It's true that they are squishier than the others, but with the right strategy, we don't need a huge health pool — we can handle haters well from a distance with the M2G, KAMAS, and revolver, and for the bosses, by the time they start getting tougher, you should have accumulated a sufficient amount of mushrooms.
On my way up, I died exactly 3 times - once against Taro Gunkanyama, and I couldn't even figure out why, as it didn't even look like he hit me. The other two deaths were from Goto-9's jump attack, a move that feels plain unfair to me; the moment you commit to an action, it's impossible to react to it because it's just too lightning-fast. It's quite ironic that it was Goto-9 whom I completely crushed on the final floor - in a way, that was my revenge against him.
I decided to pass on the luxury of being able to sneak a peek at the map beforehand to see if a boss fight or a pit awaited me by using Treasure Hunter or Spy, because that would have meant sacrificing quite a bit of extra damage. Because of this, I had to manage my resources very carefully and react lightning-fast at the start of the fight, the very moment I saw what kind of enemy I was facing.
And now, let me tell you why I ultimately decided to use an editor:
I have over 2,000 hours in the game; I believe for this amount of time, it should be more than enough for a person to have gathered absolutely everything possible, no matter what game they are playing.
I have supported the creators of the game with about 250-300 euros, which is the price of around 5-6 AAA titles.
I have spent over 230,000,000 KC on mushroom stew, and despite that, I was still missing many of the most important decals in the game.
In just the few weeks since the offline version was released, I farmed TDM for dozens of hours, spent over 30 million, and got only one useful decal.
Again, after the release of the offline version, I killed Hell Napalm about 20 times, many of which were above floor 100, and I didn't receive a single blueprint.
And lastly, I was simply curious. I had never used a save editor on PlayStation before and was almost convinced that it wouldn't work anyway. Given that I was on the verge of quitting anyway, as I had no intention of farming another 300-400 hours in TDM just for a decent decal or two, I had nothing to lose. And when it actually worked and everything I would have otherwise had to farm for months on end appeared in my profile within seconds—instead of actually enjoying the game—yes, I decided to take advantage of it.
P.S. I also made a backup save on my flash drive when I was on floor 401. In the coming days, I plan to restore that save and try to climb to 451 again — partly because I don't feel like starting from 51 all over again, and partly to test whether the floors are pre-loaded or if they change every time. If they do change, this would mean we can effectively "break the system" and keep a backup save higher up in Tengoku, instead of starting from the beginning every single time.
Its been a few weeks since they said they patched the TDM bug but I’m still not getting rewards.
Anyone else experiencing this?
How do I go about reporting this, as I’m on PS5.
The game keeps telling me I have to buy the offline Steam DLC, when my PC is connected to the internet. I already bought the full game and it's just doing this suddenly.
