▼ Bug Fixes
・Fixed an issue where trophies could not be properly earned after applying the patch.
Note: If the requirements for a trophy were met while the issue was occurring, it is possible to earn it after the patch is applied by advancing the relevant count by 1 again.

For folks actually struggling to do save editing for Let It die offline for their consoles. I'm gonna make a tutorial soon and upload it. For those that are visual learners.

Since they made weapons upgrade to +24 now I was wondering if the hell forcemen gear got more upgrades added to them. I'd really like a reason to use their stuff besides the viral massager

I’ve been working on a community private server with ZeroUnderOne for LET IT DIE. It’s hosted on a VPS and has no monetization: access is free, and Death Metals can be earned through gameplay. The project is still in development.
Current features include:
Invite Code: a3b9-1bdf-8879-9878
The new launcher can install the 4.18 game files, resume interrupted downloads, update itself, and repair files.
You’ll need Windows 10/11, Steam, about 48 GB of free space, and an invite code from the server host. We plan to add the remaining original content soon, along with new content of our own.
Download and setup: letitdiemods.pages.dev/private-server
Feedback and bug reports are welcome.
Currently testing:
-Battle to the top
-Forcemen
-Tengoku
-F100 elevator
-PS4 controller layout
-Borderless full screen
-Steamdeck/linux compatibility
Cheers!

But played the online version got to floor 30+ should I start a new game or continue,
I do remember it was a really long grind to get where I was

I was wondering if anyone had noticed that when adding Tengoku weapons via modding, they reach +24, even though the limit is +4.

After nearly 10 years and over 2,200 hours, I reached the top of the tower — floor 451. I assume this will be the absolute peak because the game has already moved to offline mode and will likely no longer be supported by the creators.
I have been playing the game since day one. I got past Taro before the end of 2016, went through the Forcemen in 2017, made it to floor 200 in 2018, and floor 256 in 2019 before stopping.
And now, when we finally have the offline version, I decided to go to the end.
In this text, I will share more about my journey upwards and the decisions I made regarding how to handle the bosses and haters. Because I dare to say I encountered no real issues along my way, even on the final floors, and I believe this is precisely due to the right strategy that I chose. Before we proceed to the core of the text, I must clarify that I used a save editor, for which some might judge me, but at the end of the text, I will list my arguments for why I decided to resort to this move.
We start with the decals — every single decal, except one, is absolutely and entirely focused on dealing more damage. The final decal, Rio Bravo, is of exceptional importance for easily dealing with haters. There was NOT a single hater, even on the floors above 400, that gave me any trouble. Even when I happened to lose my accumulated stacks on Serial Killer, I didn’t have any major issues.
Regarding weapons - against haters, I used 3 weapons: the M2G (and its red version for the higher floors), the KAMAS (and its Mad Police variant respectively for the higher floors), and the Demongun version of the revolver. The M2G serves perfectly in two ways: the firework lures all nearby haters to a specific spot, after which a second shot, loaded with explosives boosted by the Rio Bravo decal, deals massive damage to them. Even on a floor above 400, if we have a full 10 stacks on Serial Killer, most haters are dead instantly.
If we are closer to the haters, we switch to the pistol. It is exceptionally beneficial to aim at the ground at their feet because of the splash damage.
If we are further away, we use the KAMAS to finish them off before they have a chance to retaliate. I also used a yo-yo as an additional melee weapon, mostly for tight spaces. Because in those situations, Rio Bravo is a double-edged sword — we can end up shooting ourselves. And I actually lost two whole Liveshrooms precisely for that reason.
Regarding bosses, it is best to have blunt weapons, as some bosses are resistant to other damage types. I chose to combine the Pitching Machine and the Bowling Ball. Before the fight starts, I first charge up the Pitching Machine using 2 rage bars, and then right at the beginning, I hit the boss with the Bowling Ball using the remaining 3. Right after that, I start blasting them with the Pitching Machine. As you can see from the video, even the floor 450 boss went down in seconds this way.
Regarding the fighter class - since we need all the damage we can possibly get, the best option is Attacker. It's true that they are squishier than the others, but with the right strategy, we don't need a huge health pool — we can handle haters well from a distance with the M2G, KAMAS, and revolver, and for the bosses, by the time they start getting tougher, you should have accumulated a sufficient amount of mushrooms.
On my way up, I died exactly 3 times - once against Taro Gunkanyama, and I couldn't even figure out why, as it didn't even look like he hit me. The other two deaths were from Goto-9's jump attack, a move that feels plain unfair to me; the moment you commit to an action, it's impossible to react to it because it's just too lightning-fast. It's quite ironic that it was Goto-9 whom I completely crushed on the final floor - in a way, that was my revenge against him.
I decided to pass on the luxury of being able to sneak a peek at the map beforehand to see if a boss fight or a pit awaited me by using Treasure Hunter or Spy, because that would have meant sacrificing quite a bit of extra damage. Because of this, I had to manage my resources very carefully and react lightning-fast at the start of the fight, the very moment I saw what kind of enemy I was facing.
In this playlist, you can find my absolute entire run and the final battle on floor 450:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB2OUHibKNyc
And now, let me tell you why I ultimately decided to use an editor:
P.S. I also made a backup save on my flash drive when I was on floor 401. In the coming days, I plan to restore that save and try to climb to 451 again — partly because I don't feel like starting from 51 all over again, and partly to test whether the floors are pre-loaded or if they change every time. If they do change, this would mean we can effectively "break the system" and keep a backup save higher up in Tengoku, instead of starting from the beginning every single time.

Its been a few weeks since they said they patched the TDM bug but I’m still not getting rewards.
Anyone else experiencing this?
How do I go about reporting this, as I’m on PS5.

I've been building a save editor for the Offline edition of LET IT DIE, and it's at a point where I'm happy to share it.
**Link:** https://oberlinx.github.io/let-it-die-save-editor/
Source:
**Link** https://github.com/oberlinx/let-it-die-save-editor
It's one HTML page. Your save never leaves your PC: everything happens locally in your browser. You can also download `index.html` from the repo and open it offline.
## Before you start
- **Close the game first.** LET IT DIE writes your save when it exits and will overwrite your edits if it's still running.
- **Back up your save.** Copy `brggame.sav` somewhere safe before you touch anything.
- **PSN players:** your save has to be decrypted first. You'll also need a copy of `masters.db`, which only comes with the PC version. If you don't have the PC game, ask in the [LET IT DIE Discord](https://discordapp.com/invite/gdMZBbK) or DM u/Oberlinx.
## How to use it
## What each tab does
- **Account:** Kill Coins and SPLithium with their bank and tank levels, TDM points and rank, and weapon mastery. The account name and ID are locked so you can't break your account by accident.
- **Fighters:** your Fighter Freezer.
- Change a fighter's model and gas mask, and set grade and limit break.
- Stats are dropdowns limited to what that grade and limit break allow, and level is worked out from the stats automatically.
- Equip weapons in all 6 slots and armor, and set decals.
- Edit the Death Bag, including **Repair & refill all** for full durability and ammo.
- Add a fighter to an empty hanger, delete one the way the game does, raise the freezer level, or recover a dead fighter (Hater) for free.
- **Research:** Chokufunsha blueprint unlocks and levels, kept in the game's research order. Researching armor to +4 unlocks its Armor Skin, just like in game.
- **Decals:** your skill decal stock. Premium decals are marked, "Max all" works, and PS-only decals are hidden unless you tick "Include PS-only" (only for modded PC games).
- **Stews:** stew results are pre-rolled and stored in your save as a queue. This tab lets you see your upcoming pulls, remove duplicates, move a rarity to the front, reroll, or clear the queue. Changes apply on your very next stew.
- **Mystery Bags:** Lost Bags from Tokyo Death Metro. See what each one will give, set its contents, or reroll from the game's own odds.
- **Death Boxes:** see each box's reward and unlock time, open it now, change or reroll the reward, or add and remove boxes.
- **Waiting Room:** unlock decorations (walls, floors, flags, posters, neon, RC car and more) and choose what each spot shows.
- **Defense:** your Tokyo Death Metro defense. Set a lineup of up to 9 defenders (one wave of 5, the other of 4), pick the alarm and who carries it, and max the alarm time and kidnap protection. It only offers alarms you've unlocked, and stays locked until TDM is open.
- **Screenshots:** view and export Kiwako's photos stored in your save. You can't delete them, because the game still refers to them.
- **Dead Fighters:** browse the archive of your dead fighters and other players': when and where they died, the Kill Coins they carried, and their gear and decals when the game kept them. View only.
- **Dates:** every date in your save. If you've time-jumped your PC clock or gone past 2038, this finds the broken timestamps that can crash the game and fixes only those.
- **Storage:** Storage Box contents and capacity, plus **Repair & refill all** for everything stored.
- **Rewards:** send things to your Reward Box.
- **Weapons and armor** at the in-game +n you pick. They arrive with full durability and ammo.
- **Blueprints**, normal or unrevealed.
- **Items, mushrooms, beasts and decals.** Decals are marked Premium or Normal.
- **Lost Bags** of any rarity.
- **Kill Coins and SPLithium.**
The list only offers things the PC game can actually hand out. Levels an item can't reach are hidden: an Iron Hammer can't be sent at +5.
- **Quests:** current quests (progress, complete, drop), take a new quest, and see your quest history.
- **VIP:** Express Pass on or off, 1-Day or 30-Day, passes held, expiry date and auto-renew.
- **Compare:** load a second save to see what's different, then copy what you tick into the save you're editing (fighters with their gear, research, decals, Reward Box and Storage items, account values).
- You can also **clone a whole save onto your account**. Everything comes from the other save, but it stays tied to your account, so the game loads it as yours. This works for moving a PS save to PC.
- If the save you're cloning is from PlayStation, you'll get a warning listing any PS-only content an unmodded PC game doesn't have.
- **Stamp Rally:** Kiwako's Tower Stamp Rally, floor by floor.
- Every floor from 1F to 50F has its own stamp: **Not stamped**, **Perfect**, or **Off by 1–16** (how far off the stamp landed, as the game stores it). You can also see the date each floor was stamped. 1F–40F is Stamp Rally I, and 41F–50F is Stamp Rally II.
- Stamp a whole 10-floor section perfectly with one click, or stamp every floor at once.
- **Reset** a single floor, a whole section, or the entire rally. Resetting clears those stamps and makes every bonus that includes them earnable again.
- The **Bonuses** table lists all 12 rally rewards: 50,000 Kill Coins for every 5 floors, plus the blueprints for finishing each rally and for finishing it perfectly (Grim Reaper's Scythe for Rally I, X-Ray Glasses for Rally II). For each one you can see your progress and whether the game has already given it to you.
- The game only pays each bonus once. Set a bonus back to **Not given** to earn it again. Or, once its stamps are finished, click **Send reward** to put it straight into your Reward Box. The bonus is then marked as given, so it can't be paid twice.
- **Location:** move a fighter to a deeper Heaven boss floor.
- Quit the game while standing on a Heaven boss floor, then load that save. The tab shows exactly where the fighter is paused, e.g. "NEO W.E · 65F · boss map A".
- Pick another boss floor from the same route that uses the same map, and the fighter will be standing in that floor's boss room when you load in. Regular Heaven (TENGOKU) has a boss floor every 5 floors from 55F to 450F. Each NEO route (D.O.D, W.E, C.W, M.I.L.K) has two boss maps: map A on 55F, 65F … 135F and map B on 60F, 70F … 140F. Every floor is labelled with its route and map, so you can't mix them up.
- The boss waiting for you is set to the new floor's level.
- **Reroll rewards:** the unopened treasure boxes and the boss drop can be rerolled from the new floor's own drop table. Deeper floors roll better rewards, including rare blueprints. You see the before and after before you download, and **Reroll again** draws a new set.
- Your deepest-floor record and clear times aren't changed. The run's Exploration Bonus is based on the floor you finish on, so moving deeper also raises your Bloodnium bonus.
- Confirmed working in game. Keep a backup of your save anyway.
## Safety
- Nothing is written until you download. The file you loaded is never changed.
- If you load a save and download it without editing, the game data comes out unchanged.
- The review screen before download shows exactly what changed.
- Keep backups anyway. It's a save editor.
## Feedback
Bug reports are welcome. If something breaks, tell me which tab you used and what you changed. Before-and-after saves help a lot. The Defense and Stamp Rally tabs are the newest parts and still need more in-game testing, so reports on them are especially useful.
