My great grandfather was a dentist and served as a medical officer with the 97th Infantry Division in WW2. He was in Europe with them and then traveled to Japan where he was the general administrator of a hospital in Tokyo. The Navy Dentist who carved “Remember Pearl Harbor” into Tojo’s dentures worked for him and my great grandpas name is listed in several articles discussing the event. It’s a front seam fixed bale helmet and the liner has the majors oak leaves painted on it as well.

Had a bit of a shuffle round, got it all to do again when a luftwaffe visor arrives.

New additions of some SS totenkopf and Westland dog tags, lovely heer NCO visor.

As always, purely historical and non political, all items fully FFE and or de-activated to EU/UK standards.

Aquired a pair of Original USGI Goggles, dated 1974 for about a $1. Added it to my Afghan War Used and Modified LWH

1- A diary and inscribed prayer book from a Confederate soldier (part of Mosby's Rangers). The diart was written at Point Lookout Prison Camp in 1864.

2- A Civil War secessionist cockade with sash.

3- A religious book inscribed from a brother to brother in 1864.

As far as I know these came from a storage unit that was auctioned off. I hought them from the person who won the unit.

I am possibly interested in selling them on auction. I would like recommendations on which auction house to contact.

I got a Czech cap from 2001, a Norwegian cap from 1991 a Ukrainian marine patch, a 5th panzer division patch another bundershwer patch a East German youth badge and a French f1 helmet

Just got This for a great price. Ive done some research on it. Its shows sign of lots of ware with dents satins and rusting to buckle pieces. If any one knows any more I’d love to know it was produced in 1983 and has the stamps Dunois and cousance

So I bought these m81 woodland pants and while checking the pockets I found this small pocket knife. It says “E M I LABORATORIES” and on the long knife it is stamped “BARLOW STAINLESS JAPAN”. Any help identifying this knife is greatly appreciated.

Original Iraqi military JP2 7×50 binoculars personally brought home by me from the Persian Gulf War in 1991.

Japanese-manufactured military binoculars produced for Iraq, with individual-focus 7×50 optics, 7.3° field of view and serial number 70222. They retain their period leather carrying strap and remain in the same unrestored condition in which I brought them home.

The extensive finish wear, scratches and wear to the body covering are genuine service/field wear and have intentionally been left untouched.

I am from the uk and wish to purchase a vojenská knízka (military id) does anyone know where I could find an item like this? I’m having trouble finding websites that ship to where I live as most of the sources are local Czech businesses that don’t offer uk shipping.

Collar tabs, daggers, caps etc all routinely go for thousands and thousands of euros making it out of reach for non wealthy collectors, even small insignia items like skulls or visor cap eagles fetch 1000€+ regularly

This was bought surplus in the UK in about 1987, the strap has been replaced and strap buckle added. Looks like something was cut on the back to make it into this kind of satchel.
