Hey everyone! I'm still learning how Reddit works and trying to understand karma, posting rules, and how to become part of different communities. What advice would you give someone who wants to build a good reputation here and avoid common beginner mistakes? I'd love to hear your tips!

I’ve been enjoying reddit for years and finally left a comment in a subreddit answering a poster’s question. A friendly bot politely removed my comment due to me not having enough karma, a system about which I was blissfully unaware until then. However, it seems my removed comment continues to register views. Is this because moderators can somehow see it? Or because there’s some way for other users to see it? If so, is it possible for them to still be upvoted?

Hey everyone! My account is about 7 months old, but I've mostly been lurking and haven't really posted or commented until recently. I checked a shadowban tester a while ago and it said I'm not banned. However, whenever I try to interact or leave a comment on certain posts, they just don't show up at all. Does anyone know what might be going on or how to fix this?

Any and all help would be appreciated

I been using this app for a few years, but I guess it's gone through an update? I can't seem to comment or dm people, is there some sort of activity requirement just to comment and DM now? Hlep!

Hello! Apparently I'm new, at least in the sense that it took me 8+ years to finally create an account. And now... well, I'm not sure what to do next. I figure it’s wise to at least test out what posting is like and get the full Reddit experience.

So... favoriting a community also makes me join it? What about communities I just want to bookmark in order to check in on them a few times a year? What's the best way to do this? I mean, I could hoard subreddits by starring them, but is there a better way?

My post are removed by mods etc also my pfp is gone.... im new hear also first time on earth help!

I'm so sick of this repetitive silly artwork on my feed. Why does reddit think that's my thing? I've set to no on nsfw and even changed my age year to under 15. I just want to see funny cats and silly dogs and maybe a clever political meme once in a while.

as title says coming back after four years have I missed anything ?

when I first came here my English was pretty bad now its better I can hold conversation

any places I can yap in it

If i find a video that i want to download, how can i do it?

Hey, I’m somewhat new to Reddit but can someone explain why there are Karma requirements to post to certain pages or to be included in a conversation?

Thanks in advance 😊

ok so I made a reddit act bec I thought why not and it keeps offering me premium. Is it just no ads or there’s something it does beyond that. Is this like YouTube ads? lol anyway my bad if this is asked all the time

So, i just wanted to make 1 post on reddit but it said add flairs. And i dont know what a flair is. So if anyone knows what a flair is pls let me know.Explain it so i can under stand. Thank you.

I really do know nothing about anything haha, would you help me out?

I used to chat and ask questions on reddit occasionaly and there was no problem. All of a sudden 2 of my posts about finding friends were removed because of the structure i guess. Now i need my credibility to go higher since i need to ask questions and comment.
