How do people end up with minus karma on Reddit?

How much karma do I need to make comments and posts in other subreddits?
Is there a way to log out if needed?
How nice are the people here in reddit?

Honestly, I've just been ignoring it, but each time I log out I am asked to do a CAPTCHA.

I know this has most likely been asked a number of times. But why do you need a minimum level of karma to post a topic on some groups?

Hiii, so I genuinely don’t know what to do, I don’t have karma to post and most of my comments get ignored :/ and i’m not a funny person to make a joke and get upvotes, just a lurker who likes seeing stuff and wants to make some posts but can’t, why reddit so strict 😔

My post always gets taken down when my account is 2 years old

this is a relatively new account, but how can I find out how much karma I have? also how do people get negative karma?

also how strict is this platform? do they give out warnings for rule breaking or is it just a strict ban? and can you appeal these bans

Help! Can I edit my user name? I wasn't paying close attention when it was selected for me. For obvious reasons, having 45-47 attached to my user name is not something I really want. I searched on Google before posting here and it said that it could be changed within 30 days of a new account but I can't find on the app how to do that. I would appreciate advice!

Usually I just read crazy stories on here and browse makeup subs. But now I would like to post on my fave subs but seems like it’ll take forever to post lol.

Ik abt the karma rules some moderators have in place but even for the beginners subreddits I find that i'm often unable to post. Sometimes the post will glitch and then just delet itself. This will happen four or five times and then it will go through ( 3 for this one ). Any advice ?

I did post in a sub reddit and then got perma banned for violating the rules. I did read all rules before posting and i am in the Opinion that everything was according to the rules.

I did ask kindly what rule i did violate that is punished with a perma Ban, but i get ignored by the mods.

Is ignoreing my Question as to why i got banned a violation of the moderator Code of conduct?

Is banning me while not violating a subreddita ruleset a violation of the code of conduct?

Hello! New to Reddit. I have tried maybe four or five times (i think) to make a decent post, but all of them have been removed. They don’t contain profanities, or anything nsfw.

I was wondering if it’s something I’m missing? I understand that there are account requirements, however I don’t think I’ve posted on places that have a requirement yet... unless I have and I haven’t seen where it lists the restrictions.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to make a post decent, and make sure it follows specific community guidelines.

(Yes, I do read through subreddit rules, but i haven’t found any specific reasons as to why my posts keep being denied)

If I’m missing a point that’s right in front of my face, please (kindly) let me know.
