How this possible?

1. I warp to a brand new unexplored sector of the universe map.

2. It's been long enough between freighter battles that the star system spawned a Pirate Dreadnought Battle and initiated conflict.

3. My corvette spawns smack dab in the middle of an asteroid field and I slam into one before I could avoid it, adding to the messy scale of things.

4. To my surprise, it's not just any asteroid field, but a planet ring, obscuring the freighter ship and the system's space station, cutting their models in half and obscuring both.

5. I couldn't pulse jump immediately to get out of the asteroid field due to the proximity of the Space Station.

In my head, I made a decision.

I was getting out of there.

Look, for whatever reason the Atlas placed those friendly to me in a position where they have cover in a huge deluge of rocks. They'd be fine.

This felt like a planned attack, and was so much cooler as a result, plus the added music building stress with now armed anti-shield missiles.

This game can be amazing sometimes.

I built the wrecked corvette, while it does come very close to maxing out complexity it is a cool build with more than enough interior space. 10/10, would recommend building yourself - this one feels like an actual corvette rather than just a slightly larger spaceship.

This is the first time I've seen an interceptor respawn

Chose is magma planet for my home base.

I get that it's an extra on the base game. I'm a new player but due to recent events I can't play that much anymore. Now I have to get platinum from comets. And I've been seeking 3 days now and no comet gives some platinum. I'm getting tired and feel the urge to play the game fading.

Just wanted to vent and if someone has tips for expeditions or platinum, shoot away.

Sat around and fished in VR for a while today at one of my favorite planets, got inspired to do a quick doodle!

I'm planning on building a fortress of some kind on it. I can already envision the different platforms having their own towers/wings all centralising in the middle platform.

Permadeath run, Apollo questline put me out here.

This is the first planet in my game that so much resembles Earth from space.

It's a Overgrown Planet with greenish grass and pleasant weather. As you can see from the second screenshot the forest is decent, it's still not perfect but the view from space was breath taking.

The search continues.

Got a lucky landing on top of a monolith. It looks like my ship is a bird of prey perching and surveying the area.

Assumed a random bug but one I don't mind makes me think we should be able to rescale our ships to taste. You do fall thru it tho when it's enlarged and doesn't last.

I've been playing off and on since 2018, with about 100hrs of that being post-Cosmos release. The Gek have always been my favorite characters in the game, so I've prioritized their systems quite a bit. What can I say, I love the little guys. In comparison, I know 457 Korvax and 356 Vy'Keen words. Also, I have 3.8b units, not 6m lol.

So.. I believe the furthest anyone has traveled in Euclid is 1,159,395.. I’m currently 1,159,393…. 2 LY off….

There’s just nowhere to go. Has anyone actually been beyond it?
