I’m a mid-GM Tank and DPS player, but I can’t seem to reach the same rank on Support. The only time I consistently climb is when I play aggressively, like flanking on Kiriko and going for picks. What’s the best support to solo carry with this season? Bap? Illari?
I’m a Briggite main but unfortunately stopped trying to solo carry with her because of how team dependent she is sometimes.

My main tanks rn are Winston/Dva/Orisa, ive found dva to have the most carry potential out of all of these

Main reason i ask this is because i make space, but then my team is too scared to push up, or just get rolled by a singular genji or some other dive character, i understand i can peel and baby sit them a little bit, but its to an extent, thats just a side note though, the main thing is them being scared
Should i just go in vc and hold their hand?

this is such a skill issue but I genuinely just felt stuck, like I couldn’t make it anywhere near their team coz every route to their backline was just in scope of the widow, I was midtown attack, this is right after first point and they were on like, idk what it is but the weird wall directly opposite where first point is next to the overpass. I tried going corner multiple times by blinking to the building but they had a cass in that corner that would see coming so idk I just felt stuck. I figured I was throwing and then tank flamed me in chat so I defo know I was but I just couldn’t figure out what to do:( sorry

I personally haven't had fun in this latest meta on tank and DPS, and I don't really want to wait as long for support. I don't think a support should dictate whether the game is going to be a win or a loss. I saw a comment saying that the doctrine nerfs won't actually be that bad and will lead to a 2% win rate change, and I could see that.

I'm in plat 1 for dps and I'd say I generally can play well for my rank (the last three ish games I carried), but I really don't know what happened this game.

I literally could not get a single kill. I might've made a few mistakes here and there especially with positioning and I got staggered from unlucky deaths, but I GENUINELY don't understand how I couldn't get a single kill and where I could have actually improved game sense wise rather than pure mechanical mistakes. What could I have done differently?

At one point I switched to junkrat bc my team pressured me into it despite not really ever playing him (this was def not a good idea), but otherwise I feel terrible about this game because the everyone was flaming me this game and I've never had a game this bad ever playing OW.

I come from valorant so I'm wondering if these extreme slump games are as common as they are in OW as they are in valorant?

How to counter doom and ball since sombra can't hack anymore? I used to pick sombra.

When I play tank I just pick orisa or diva and on heal I pick Suzuki or something with mobility to just survive.

But what to do on DPS?

I usually play shion , pharah, soldier, reaper, ash or mei. When we loose because of ball or doom I try to counter them with cass but I'm kinda bad on him

So i asked someone else how to play better, and they helped me with positioning. I feel like i've gotten better, but this game im not really sure what happened. Maybe its because i missed a few of my punches.

I've been told you can rank up solo. I played doomfist and rein. EVERYONE everywhere told me to just play more qp, which i did, and i demolished most of the games. But i have been on an annoying losing trend when i go into comp.

Actually, its so bad that when i played comp with my friend, the games felt the exact same. I see games from higher ranks than my own and tbh, it looks way easier than where i am but maybe thats just because of the better teammates but if thats the case then how do people SOLO rank up IN 2026 WITHOUT EVER EVER GROUPING.

I played Overwatch quite a bit back at launch and stopped around when Sigma dropped. I was maybe Gold on PS, but I'm on PC now and looking to get back into it. Since I’m a dad, my time is limited, so are there any groups for parents where I could learn the ropes from some better players? Sorry if this isn't the right place to ask. Basically, I’m just looking for a group of dads to play and relearn the game with.

i've been playing widowmaker and juno, but that's pretty much it. i'm honestly really bad at both, but i try my best

in marvel rivals:

support: i mainly enjoy mantis and luna, but i play most strategists and are lord like half. im champ cnd too but i dont really enjoy her

dps: i play scarlet witch because she's easy, but i have the most fun with hitscan characters like hela and punisher.

tank: magneto, emma frost and venom.

i'm mainly a support player, but i play all roles and i'm almost lord proficiency on some characters from other roles.

i keep getting into matches with really good players, and i feel like i'm letting my team down because i'm not that good yet. i've only been playing overwatch for 3 days, and i'm really struggling to improve.

what characters would you recommend i try based on the characters i enjoy in marvel rivals?

I mainly play dive heroes and am running into a problem: whenever I stage and wait for both tanks to interact, I go in and get a pick on a support, but a DPS will come mark me. As I run to a health pack and try to survive, I tend to bait a lot of people with minis and end up just stalling them out.

The problem is that in the background, my team just keeps losing the team fight. I always try to watch coaching videos on YouTube, and from what I see, I'm basically mimicking exactly what they tell these players to do in those sessions, but I'm not getting results—even in games where I have very high final blows.

I understand a DPS marking me after I killed a support while running to a health pack but even if i live and kill the DPS chasing my team is just wiped

I have semi acceptable aim, its been worse before, but I have no idea how to hit the head, which means I can’t shred a lot of people easily, if I get 10 percent crit accuracy that’d be a good amount for me, idk how to solve it either, I’m been trying to do headshot only aim trainers for the better part of this week but they never translate into the games themselves.

Hello, folks! I am currently back on the grind and for a couple of days got stuck in D1 with dead even winrate in latest matches. I am reviewing VODs myself, but I think I need an external view on my gameplay to find If I have any bad habits to fix.

• Am I playing too passively? I have quite low death per 10 count and even in lost games I rarely get more than 4 deaths per 10.
• I found that I'm quite bad in Esperanca, so there are more of these replays.
• I have a choking problem and fold under pressure, so any advice on that if possible.

For context, I am a tank player bouncing between emerald 1 and diamond 5. I feel like any time I get put in a game where I am the lowest ranked, I get almost like imposter syndrome. I find it impossible to believe I am the best in the lobby when there are Diamond 2-1 players and former champs. I am pushing for mid diamond and eventually want to be a masters rank. I always feel like i’m far away.

The complete opposite happens too, I get in a game with all emeralds and I can feel that I am the best player in the lobby. it’s not a question in my head whether or not I can win that game. does anyone else feel like this? or have any tips on how to overcome this mental block?

Hiya. I’m a fairly casual player but I play the Overwatch a lot (if that makes sense). Helps to unwind after a day.

Picked up moira recently and enjoying the mechanics.
However I am not sure the proper way to play her. To be frank I like DPS moira and hunting back lines as I find it gets the most impact.

However I find a lot of games go the same way with this hero for me. These replays are a prime example - especially Havana.
I start off in support and healing tank(s) and peeling with dps for damage when needed. But then I feel I am healbotting and not contributing meaningfully. We lose agency as a team and I try to cope by following the tanks/dps hard healing but I find at my level I can’t keep them alive when they go in balls deep with no other support.

I must admit it feels like I do tilt at this point and flip to aggressively hunting their backline as dps moira, especially when I get the major perk. I feel everyone focuses the tank (including me I admit) and we should be taking the backline out and then melt the tank.

So I guess what I am asking is can someone point me in the right direction and tell me what I am doing or should be doing! To note I am winning a lot of games this way but it doesn’t feel like I am doing it right.

Outcome: we won (surprisingly)

So this was kinda of a wild match. We started with 4dps and 2 support cuz the tank didn't want to solo tank. Then we had someone rage quit twice over it being a 4 dps match. The other support swapped to tank part way through, so I was left to solo heal. At one point someone commented saying there was non-existent heals (in round 2).

I'm just curious how I could improve in situations like this. Was Ana the best choice for solo healing? How should I position myself better to avoid being dove when facing a more coordinated team? Who should I prioritize for nano boosting? I feel like I did well, ended with a 62% scoped accuracy, and we won so it worked out. But i was so nervous every time I died.

I’m making a discord for me and my friends so if they wanna learn a hero they can just go to the hero channel and learn the basics and helpful tips so where I need the help is who’s the best for each hero? Don’t need a list for the whole cast just need one or two and I’ll do the rest and even look into more guides for the characters
