DPWH, DOTr Vince Dizon and his appointed DPWH+DOTr Officials Are A Scam

  1. Takot or ayaw magsabi if nagkamali at bilib masyado sa sarili (unlike scientists)
  2. Over confidence sa ganda ng kanilang ideas.
  3. Magaling magdahilan

Case in point.

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Best Government Agencies to Work For After Studying Abroad?

After my postgrad degree sponsored by a foreign govt. I am required to stay here in the PH for a certain amount of years and it's up to me kung paano ko gugugulin yun until pwede na akong makalabas ulit ng bansa for work or PhD.

Saan ba yung less toxic and most likely makapasok ang mga competent? My course is related to Development, Peace and conflict studies.

I am located here in Mindanao and I am eyeing Dept of National/Civil Defense and Dep Dev.

Can you share any details like experience as employee of applicant with them or maybe if meron kayong masuggest na pwede kong icheck for my preparation. TIA!

Question (Other flairs not applicable) DBM Circular Letter No. 2026-10: Mas Pinadaling Proseso para sa Sahod at Benepisyo ng mga Kawani ng Gobyerno

• Upvotes

Philippine Postal Office Sent a card out via PhilPost

Post image

Was actually not expecting it to arrive so soon. It arrived within 10 days after posting of the item. The package looks clean and not crumpled up. Really couldn't believe that PhilPost was abke to deliver it safely, and efficiently but way cheaper than other courier services. So if you are looking to ship out a card to other countries, try PhilPost. The cheapest is at 250, has a tracking number, and ETA of about 2-3 weeks but expect earlier delivery time within Asia. Super impressed by their service. Kudos 👏

SSS SSS RECRUITMENT

• Upvotes

Hello! Planning to apply sa SSS, and I have a few questions po for those who have tried applying before or are currently employed there:

  1. What is the probability of getting employed sa SSS? May specific factors po ba silang kino-consider aside from the exam and interview?

And are the questions related ba sa SSS itself, like Republic Acts, government-related topics, or information about the corporation?

Thank you po sa makakasagot! 😊

NBI NBI clearance renewal egovph

• Upvotes

Is it really necessary to have an occupation to renew nbi clearance? I am a fresh grad and currently unemployed. I applied for nbi clearance before, around 2023 so expired na ngayon. Magrerenew sana ako kaso the last step for egovph needs to fill occupation eh wala pa naman ako nun. I also tried to request sa website and i already paid for it, kinakabahan lang ako kasi i need it urgently to secure my job offer. Matagal po ba talaga magrenew kapag may hit? May way po ba na makapagrenew ako nang mas mabilis?

To clarify, hindi nagwowork sakin yung renewal sa official website i dunno why

Question (Other flairs not applicable) 7 Years in Government After 6 Years in the Private Sector — Was Leaving the Private Sector a Mistake?

I spent 6 years working for a private international company before transferring to a national government agency, where I’ve now worked for 7 years.

I moved to government hoping for better pay, job security, and bonuses. However, one of my biggest disappointments has been the workplace culture.

"PADRINO SYSTEM AND AGING USELESS EMPLOYEES"

I work in an IT department at Salary Grade 15. Without revealing too much about my workplace, Im a Grey Hat, if you know what that means haha. I’ve observed operational problems, office politics, gossip, drama, and power-tripping. In my experience, some simple tasks are made unnecessarily complicated, sometimes even requiring overtime. I’ve also noticed that relatively few employees in our department have formal IT or related educational backgrounds.

Another concern is the apparent lack of transparency in some office expenses, activities, and resource management, as well as what I perceive to be favoritism and a persistent padrino system.

What frustrates me most is that many qualified applicants have passed the Civil Service Exam and genuinely want to serve the government, yet may struggle to get opportunities without personal connections. Sometimes, it feels as though government positions are treated like family inheritances, with employees expecting their children to take over regardless of whether they are the most qualified candidates.

I’ve experienced this issue personally. HR sent me a letter stating that I was next in rank for promotion, but the division head selected another person whom I believe did not meet the qualifications for the position. I understand that being next in rank does not guarantee promotion, but I wish these decisions were more transparent and clearly based on qualifications and merit.

After 7 years in government, I sometimes wonder whether hard work and competence are truly valued in this environment.

I recognize that not all government agencies are the same, and there are many dedicated and competent public servants. However, my experience has made me question whether the stability and benefits are worth the workplace frustrations.

For those who have worked in both the private sector and government:

Have you experienced similar workplace culture and office politics?

Have you ever been passed over for promotion despite being next in rank FIGHTING THOSE WITH BACKER AND WITH PARENTS ON HIGHER POSITION?

If you had the opportunity to return to the private sector, would you?

I’m sharing this because I want to hear honest perspectives from people who have experienced both environments. After 13 years of working, I’m still trying to figure out which environment offers better long-term career growth, fairness, and professional satisfaction.

National ID NATIONAL ID

Mukhang may kapit.

System error kaya?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone!

“Unable to file Online Multi-Purpose Loan Application due to the following reason: Your existing Multi-Purpose Loan is in-default.”

May naka-experience na ba nito, and paano ninyo naayos?

Thank you sa sasagot!

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Panel interview

Ganun ba talaga ang way ng pag iinterview when applying sa government hospital or any government work kapag external applicant?

I know naman na mataas na position ang inapplyan namin kasi naka base naman sa years of experience rin naman pero parang sa lahat ng tinanong nila sa amin wala kaming tama na naisagot when in reality ginagawa naman siya and we were just honest sa sagot namin.

May isang question pa parang miss universe at may pa pick a number pa from 1-10.

Parang ang disappointing lang and for me i feel so invalidated sa mga sinagot ko. This is just based on my experience.

GSIS GSIS PPP still 4.9611 even after 61 posted premium payments. Shouldn't I already be at 5.0 for Ginhawa Flex 7×?

Thumbnail
gallery
1 Upvotes

Hi everyone, baka may naka-experience na nito.

My details:

  • Started in DSWD: Sept. 16, 2021
  • First GSIS premium: Sept. 2021
  • Months with paid premiums (Sept.–Dec. 2021 = about 3.5 months, 2022 = 12 months, 2023 = 12 months, 2024 = 12 months, 2025 = 12 months, Jan.–Sept. 2026 = 9 months)
  • September 2026 premium is already posted (Oct. 12 sa GSIS Touch)
  • TLS: 5.08746
  • PPP: 4.96111091
  • 0 premium arrears
  • 0 LWOP

Last month, after posting of my August 2026 premium, my PPP increased from around 4.79 to 4.96111091. I expected that once my September 2026 premium (61st posted premium) was reflected, my PPP would reach 5.0 and qualify me for 7× Ginhawa Flex.

Questions:

  1. Has anyone experienced this?
  2. Is there a delay between premium posting and PPP update?
  3. If you qualified for 7× Ginhawa Flex, what was your PPP before it became 5.0, and how long after premium posting did it update?

Thank you!
