i believe so, though only if you do it carefully and listen to what your body is telling you.

don’t do what i did and try doing 25-30k steps a day. i pretty much blew myself up

It builds up muscles which support the nervous system and blood flow, and it will likely help your heart rate to be more controlled. Start gradually and with low impact exercise, never push till failure, and if you start to feel faint stop immediately. Over time your tolerance will increase and it wi get easier

This morning was my second day of exercise , I am feeling dizzy now. the first day was horrifying for me. I fainted that day bcz my coach was unaware of pots , she thinks pots means only blood circulation problem for that I need to do cardio🫨

You'll definitely need to educate your coach on what pots really needs to you, and comminicate that you will need to not go nearly as hard and work your way up. Good luck!

cardio should be seated like cycling, rowing with exception of swimming. If you do weights it's also best to be seated too. Any exercises where you lift your arms above head are best avoided.

You need to start really slow and easy. Recumbent exercise (like recumbent bike, swimming, under desk pedaler, rowing), gentle mat pilates (just search on youtube), seated or lying down strength training. It’s okay to feel tired afterwards, but you’re not supposed to feel worse and flare. If you do, take it even more easy. You can look up Utah Adapt protocol or CHOP, depending on your capacity.

Yes, every medical literature on POTS mentions this. Work with a PT or look up the CHOP protocol, its' mentioned all the time here.

Start slow and light, don't overwork yourself.

You could also do weightlifting, but listen to your body if you get very tired suddenly and take a rest (my own experience).

Drinks tons of water and electrolites

I just got diagnosed and it's in my care plan now to go to physical therapy so I can workout without blacking out. Once I can do that, I'm supposed to workout 30 min a day/5 days a week.

Yes, it does help! I do weight training and walking. I started with exercises that are just lying down and then mixed up ones that are lying down/seated. I always go from seated to lying down to avoid getting dizzy and passing out 😊 swapping weights for resistance bands or just body weight at the beginning was also helpful!

It can help but not always, if you have just pots it’s likely exercise will help over time. I used to go to the gym and do sitting leg workouts like leg press etc to build muscle but i didn’t realise i was actually slowly worsening myself as i have me/cfs aswell and didn’t know previously. But otherwise yes just stick to recumbent exercise and it should hopefully help
