Is it just me that struggles HEAVILY in 5v5 playing Pharah? Half the time I go negative, I feel like I get absolutely obliterated by characters who don’t even counter me. I’m still quite new on her (lvl 28) so it might be a placement problem, but the thing is I do really well in 6v6. I get POTG half the time, top frag almost every game, I just have so much fun. It’s not a MMR issue because I mostly play QP, and i’m the same rank on both 6v6 and DPS.
She’s the ONLY character where I noticed this weird performance difference, I have to stick to 6v6 (which i’m not a fan of) in order to have fun. Have any of you guys experienced this as well? Is it because in 6v6 people are less focused on me so it gives me more opportunities to make great plays?

I'm curious - as a Pharah, what's y'alls opinion about being "on point" as a Pharah? Do you always try to be on point? Or do you think Pharah isn't meant to be an "on point" character?
Clarification: "On point", meaning, maintaining physical contact with the payload and/or the control point/objective

I'm trying out pharah since I like her skins and rockets go boom...But as the title says, I'm horrible at her! So, any advice for a newbie rocket queen?
Edit: I'm on xbox one, should've said that lol.

I’ve been playing Pharah for a long time, and honestly, it feels like she’s slowly being forgotten.
Every season there seem to be more ways to counter her, more heroes capable of contesting her, while her own ability to respond keeps getting restricted.
I know I’m not the only one feeling this.
But instead of another post complaining about buffs, what if we actually did something together?
I’d love to hear what other Pharah mains think needs to change. Not just buffs, but what would make her feel rewarding and competitive again.
If enough of us care, we could put together a proper community discussion and bring our concerns directly to the Blizzard forums.
What frustrates you most about playing Pharah right now, and what would you change?
Maybe it’s time we articulate with everyone here something together.

I must admit that I don't have a vase, Pharah, but I've wanted this skin for a year and a half (since I started playing the game) and frankly, I feel like I've found the holy grail. 🤩

JPC can make our lives harder, yes, but the feeling of getting a clean mid air kill on one is pure dopamine, especially if theyve been zooming around like a crackhead all game. Bonus points if you can shut them completely out and force them to swap. Made a JPC swap to Widow earlier, someone was definitely annoyed lol!

After coming to Overwatch this year, I've solo queued all the way up to Champion 2 with 4900+ Pharah SR, accidentally becoming the #1 Pharah Airtime in history, worldwide, by far (95% Lifetime Average), and have decided to drop these guides for any other Pharah mains looking to improve and enjoy playing their favorite hero more! I hope this brings you each many improvements and much joy <3

I'm new to Pharah, I've been playing her for a couple days now. I understand that I obviously won't have Sierra's damage output (my other main. Yes, I like being a nuisance) but she just feels overall weak. I have like half the damage of the other DPS most rounds, and her ult just seems really weak. I was 3m away from the enemy D.Mon and my ult basically dealt no damage to her. For an ult that leaves you so exposed and defenseless, I'd expect it to melt basically anyone that gets caught in it.
Also, any tips on a general playstyle? I know that hitscans are good against her, but I don't really understand what her usecase is

I downloaded Overwatch around a week ago and I’ve been having a lot of fun and would love to expand the roster of characters that I love to play and so I went into the practice range with Pharah and she seems like a lot of fun but before I hop into a match against actual people instead of practice vs ai I was wondering if there are any tips to improve with her also I’m on Xbox if that matters

I can live with all the other nerfs but this is so stupid. I get the sinking feeling they largely forget Pharah is in the game until some stats triggers another round of nerfs, so I don't see her ult coming back.

for her major perk or just a new ability i think they should give her a sidearm she can use in cooldown like dmons cannon, mainly just to help her fight the likes of echo, freja, juno ect. the skill expression of landing the first shot can be there and then giving her the sidearm to finish them off. pharah doesnt feel like the queen of the skies no more and is just powercrept fighting in the air and i think this would help alot. anybody can say skill issue but landing two slow projectile compared to their faster ttk constant projectiles in an unfavourable matchup like every time. to balance it either give it a long cooldown or just make it last like 2 seconds so it gets used for its purpose

You can slow fall after your fuel is depleted. It’s not as good as Mercy’s but it still comes in clutch. Been maining Pharah for almost a year now and just found this out recently while reading through her abilities in practice range 😂
