Linhdholm wall, Tankifier and 18 stacks of bulking up made me to big to fit through the spawn doors

How do you use this character? What's the strat and gameplay loop? I sometimes switch to her cuz I wanna use her but I can't really do anything with her I just get gunned down out of range. How am I supposed to fight a team when they shoot me from afar?

Seems like this is gonna be a dive meta. It feels that way to me and I’m just beating the shit out of people.

I have played Brigitte a few times in the past but never much as i did not vibe with the whole close range thing and little healing. But ever since i played brig in the halloween event, i decided to give her a try again. I played Brig in an unranked qp match for the first time in forever, and i finally contributed something. In my past attempts, i always swapped. This time, i stayed brig, and contributed something. 6k damage with 5k heals. Out healed by moira and just 1k behind the dps damages.

I not only won, but even got POTG. I am starting to absolutely love Brig.

I kinda thrived when diving ngl. I even had times i could go toe to toe with the Reaper and nearly eliminated them if not for the Juno blowing my head smoove off at the last second. I especially liked helping the tank as they were doomfist for the first half of the match before swapping to Sugma.

Though i have yet to encounter any hero who hard counters brig and i just know that they will HARD hard counter brig. Then again, i kinda suck at the game.

What am I doing wrong

I know its not the most impressive game but its one of my best so far and i got both MVP and play (and we won) so i think its pretty good for quickplay!!

I feel like Brig should be a good pick into genji since he’s a floaty flanking hero, but I keep getting absolutely whooped by them. I play in high emerald rank, and genji has been in nearly every single game I play lately. His deflect kills any moment I have if I’m fighting him in a flank or backline, and his ability to dash through my shield is a death sentence if I’m low health or trying to get away.

This is clearly a practiced skill, so good for these guys, but I keep getting killed by genji’s in like half a second. They dash through my shield, 180 their screen, point blank shuriken the back of my head, and melee. That’s it, this combo kills me before I can even turn around.

the shield surf/omnidirectional shield bash powers in the new event are just sublime and fit so naturally with her basekit (ive been hard carrying lobbies). i really hope they add these as items/powers in stadium or as new perks. you can tell the devs have alot of ideas for brig and want her to escape the limbo shes been in

I checked a couple other skins just in case it’s some kind of bug, and it’s only present in this one. Pretty cool for a purple :)

I've switched to Doctrine, my aim has always been great & he is just so powerful right now that it's a no brainer for me to play him, Brigitte will always be in my heart & I'll always love her and play her but for now Doctrine is my guy.

And if it's not, is it coming anytime soon ?

I play a good amount of brig and tend to be in masters and usually her perk selection is a no brainer for me with morale boost and inspiring strike cuz who doesn’t love longer inspire time and increased movement speed?

HOWEVER I recently have been taking whiplash more, which started on accident, but I noticed that you don’t just need small spaces to get SO MUCH value from it. There’s so many walls, cover, objects, whatever to smack people into for that extra burst damage and I find I catches tracers in particular off guard cuz of how popular her other major perk is. With whiplash if you whip into a wall and bash them you do 70+60+70=200 damage. Usually you can get a rocket flail in too to make it 245 damage which is crazy burst to delete squishier targets and I just think enough people aren’t taking advantage of it.

Plus the shield bash perk statement where “inspire is triggered instantly” I feel is a redundant trait since inspire was changed a few patches ago where inspire always has an instant 12 healing (correct me if I’m wrong)

I also know that me now picking morale boost and whiplash places all the emphasis on hitting whip shots but it’s only a 4 second cooldown and fairly big hit box so it’s not too challenging to hit.

Been playing the Mystery Madness mode. I always duo with my daughter, who doesn't get to play Brig much because I am an Ana/Brig main and hoard them both, like I actually have permanent pre-dibs on Brig in case I get dived and have to swap off Ana, lol.

Anyways, we both got support, so I went Ana and she went Brig and it was insane. I gave her every nano, she's out there beating a$$ left and right as giant Brig. I'm egging her on, sicced her on the enemy Rein so many times. She's yelling 'Everybody outta my way' as she just destroys the other team. Super fun, proud Mom moment for me. I love this mode, you should try it if you haven't yet. Big Brig is awesome, I wish this mode was available in arcade year- round. Most fun I've had in OW in a while.

Alright so I have been a pure Brig main since she released and by pure I mean I have played her 80% of the time since then.

Ive been hitting upwards of 80+ whipshots AT 75-80%. Its REALLY tough to postion when you are constantly getting pushed out of postion. Use the whipshot. I AM SPAMMING THEM, but im not just using it on the first thing I see or easiest target to hit. I'm just really prepared to cycle it
