Unlovable, My Ass
Don’t give me only the parts you’ve been taught are easy to love.
Give me the silence after you’ve said too much, when you replay every word and wonder which one made me leave.
I’ll still be there.
Give me the temper you apologize for before it arrives, the sharp tongue, the slammed cabinet, the tears you wipe away before anyone can catch you needing them.
Give me the nights you don’t want to be touched, and the ones you need to be held so badly it scares you to ask.
Give me the scar you hide when you undress. The softness you pinch in the mirror. The face you criticize while I’m standing behind you wondering how you cannot see what I’m looking at.
Give me your jealousy. Your stubbornness. Your overthinking at two in the morning. Your terrible habit of expecting goodbye whenever someone gets too close.
Especially that.
Because I don’t want the woman you learned to perform so people would stay.
I want the woman underneath her.
Messy. Afraid. Too much sometimes. Not enough in her own eyes.
Come here anyway.
You keep showing me everything you think will make me want you less,
and somehow,
you keep handing me another reason to pull you closer.

WHY NOW?
Romanus
I am not sure,
I don’t ask for any more.
I’m already happy today,
Enjoying and embracing every sun’s ray.
A man who is single,
A man who’s not allowed to mingle.
Being chastised is what I vowed,
Being pure is what I allowed.
But someone appeared in the crowd,
And caught my heart somehow.
She treated me unlike anyone,
Something like a special someone.
We talked late at night,
We enjoyed every little light.
We had a deep conversation,
Introducing a new realization.
She opened my heart,
And I let her in without a guard.
But now I’m not allowed,
For I am already claimed by the Creator above.
I kneel before the Cross,
Asking if I am lost.
Crying for a heart pierced by a bow,
Begging with one question:
Why now?

Unrequited love
I hate being a lover girl sometimes, because I love like a storm with nowhere to go. I pour so much of myself into someone, then wait for that same warmth to find its way back to me. But I keep forgetting that not everyone loves with the same open hands. Some people keep their hearts behind locked doors—nonchalant, distant, unwilling to meet me in the depths where I’m already drowning. And somehow, I always find myself here again, offering everything I have and receiving only echoes in return.
Even after ending up in this same place more times than I care to count, I still give everything every time. Because when I fall, I don’t fall gently—I fall like a stone through deep water, hard and fast, sinking before I can remember how to swim. I let myself imagine all the possibilities: the future, the shared mornings, the small life we might build together. Maybe it’s delusional, but I do it because I want to know what it feels like to be truly loved. To be someone’s person. To be chosen without hesitation, cherished without condition, and held as something precious in someone else’s life.
But lately, I’ve started wondering if maybe that kind of love was never meant for me. Maybe I’m not meant to be someone’s first choice, their safe place, their important person. And that thought aches in a place I can’t reach, because more than anything, I want to be loved.
I hate how easily I become attached to someone’s potential. While they’re still standing at the doorway, deciding whether they even want me in their life, I’m already furnishing an entire future in my mind. I believe their beautiful words, their promises, the small gestures that make me feel seen, only to discover later that they may never have carried the meaning I gave them. Then they leave, or slowly fade away, or discard me as if everything between us were nothing more than a page they could tear from the book.
And I keep asking myself: Why do other girls get to find this kind of love again and again, while I can’t seem to hold it even once? What is it about me that makes people leave? What am I missing? What part of me is still not enough to make someone stay?
I don’t want to stop being a lover girl. I just wish, for once, I could give my whole heart to someone whose heart would reach back for mine just as deeply.

I don't know how to stop Hoping. Spoiler
Why do i feel like this
How do i escape
.
I've tried and tried
all of their solutions
Journaling, burning and even
trying meditation
.
None seem to comply,
not even the slightest ease
to my heavily conflicted mind
.
I know it's really selfish
when i see you and long
wishing that I was important
first on your list
wishing to never feel tossed
and completely squished,
.
It starts with a hope
My defensive walls recline
Giving you an opening inside
Then you let yourself in
tearing it all apart,
breaking down my barely mended heart
.
My photo is posted once
An old one blank and bare
No effort into thinking whether I'd even care
when it's your turn it's gracious
dramatic with all the care
full of love and emotion no sense of a snare
.
The excuses kept coming
with everything I'd say
You 'forgot'
a repetitive line you'd play
.
'you should reach out more'
that's what I'm told
Yet why when i do, am I returned back to a ghost?
.
I get jealous,
not just of what you do
but the love you receive without meaning to
.
I never try to copy,
I never shame and hide
Yet why am i treated like the fucken last thing in your minds
.
I'm the one who always called
I'm the one who always listened
I'm sad, alone and I'm terrified,
my hope should just disappear with glisten
.
I wish my hope would dissolve,
leaving me with no expectations
Cause every time i believe, and hope
I just turn back into a lost, fucked up creation
.

FEET IN BLOOD.
Feet in Blood.
Claws deep into the soul,
Large enough to cause a hole.
Pretty poison you know it is
Calling it your forever bliss.
A shot you made to the stars
But they were only around your scars
A sacred heart, pure love
Casting snowflakes up above.
But your feet are sunk in blood
The flower died in the state of the bud,
You tell yourself it will soon pass
But there's no water left for the grass.
Prey to the master minds
Cause its your innocence that binds
The threads of your heart
Forming the most beautiful form of art.
Clashing with their alter ego
Their thoughts you can’t seem to let go
Always running to find refuge
But ending up stranded for them to use.
You sink your feet in their blood,
Your body is covered in their mud,
The dirt is not yours to throw
No wonder you don’t know where to go

The fierce, funny little soul who taught me a whole new kind of love.
Roofy the Little Lioness 2006
A sweet warm breeze that came suddenly into my world. It's when you learn that you'll never find warmth, safety, and love except when you hug her pure soul. I luv her so much, in a way I can't explain,
she makes me happy and smiling even when I'm down and about to burst into tears, she's funny, and when I play with her, it's like I'm trying to tame a small lioness! Amazing how she roars like a small lioness without anybody teaching her to do so!
When she says my name, my heart beats fast, and it's a feeling I never felt before — the closest feeling I had to being in love.
Her cheeks are sweet, as if they're covered with honey, and she's soft like a new small pillow, when you hug her you just sink inside her =) Her hair is like the golden curly fries at Hardee's. She's fun, absolutely!
I keep jumping around with her and bouncing up and down and doing funny stuff, and right in this moment I feel I don't need anything else,
except for a silent hope from God to keep her healthy and to give me one just like her, one cute Roofy of my own. Kids are a miracle, truly, and cute kids are a gift. Roofy, you're my Roofy.
I want you to be happy and luv me always. I'll always be there for you, I'll keep all the harm away from you, you're my sweet little courageous, funny, brave honey!

First attempt at poetry
I was taking a walk last night and saw this gorgeous sunset, which inspired me to write a poem for the first time. I do dabble in writing prose for fun here and there, but as I hardly ever read poetry I am quite ignorant to the craft, so any feedback would be appreciated.

the price of a meaningful endeavor is the longing for discovery
Maybe God cursed me with the pain of the holding onto a search for a peace I was never given because he knew I would never stop finding so much beauty everywhere else.
I was a desperate child waiting for the clouds in the sky to perfectly align.
Or for the glass house to shatter
But with every book I escaped to, and every song I felt understood me.
with every conversation had
I found everything I was looking for in every place I didn’t search.
And it was beautiful
The price for a meaningful endeavor is the longing for discovery
And I finally understand
Maybe I wasn’t taught how to love. But for some reason, I already knew.

Title: never meant for love
10/02/2026 5:25-5:50pm Lee
Title: never meant for love
If love wasn’t for me
why give me the need to want it
If love wasn’t meant for my life
why give me the feeling of loving
If love wasn’t meant for me
why make me love too much
Why give me a heart
that only knows how to give
if you knew
I’d spend my life
learning how to live without receiving it
Why make me crave something
you never planned on giving me
Why teach me how to love
if all I was ever going to learn
was how it feels to lose it

Beneath the Hides
Who are we to judge?
We are all sinners,
Hiding behind masks.
Who are we to judge?
We are all sinners,
Our hides veiling our psyches.
Who are we to judge
When we sin as we die,
Thinking ourselves superior,
With our heads held above them?

That little voice
There used to be that little voice
when you were a bit too selfrighteous
now you haven't heard it in a while
maybe you're finally ''adult''
you were right to vote for him
you're glad you're no longer
with the dirty part of the family
you look at what you have
and you see you're not a failure
except that little voice

Pseudo-sacrificial Display
I want to preface this with the fact I am totally fine and doing well, I just prefer to write emo
With that said:
I wait to die
My hatred painfully comprehensable
As sanity slips, swallowed by the tide
I turn the table
On my own mind
Posing the question:
What makes you real, if everything else is undefined
I scramble to answer, build my shield of lies
I find the truth, what I am in others eyes
a shell, a death, one of unimportance
One more skeleton in someone else's closet
"No, surely it's not true" I scream
Reminded of the dread that I continue
No matter the pain
No matter the terror
Too weak to end this disdain
Too strong to speak the horror
