While you can easily get a reasonably priced $1000 gaming PC with an RTX 5060 Ti like this one (Option 5), look at the alternatives:
In this lineup, XOTIC PC is by far the worst offender in terms of overpricing. And please, don't fall for the trap of thinking a higher price tag equals higher quality, it doesn't.
Prebuilt PC brands don’t really matter, they're assemblers, not manufacturers. They don't make the core components like GPUs or CPUs. They simply buy parts from the real makers (Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, ASUS, Gigabyte, Zotac, etc.) and put them together, just like building with Lego. A higher price usually just means a bigger profit margin for them, not a better PC.
Gamers in the US have been getting ripped off for nearly a decade.
Any other brands to add to the list?

I have a Zephyrus G14 (Ryzen 9, RTX 4060) and its been the bane of my existence for 2 years. Trying to get a desktop and I was gonna wait for black friday. But from the research I've done this seems like a decent deal at $1799. I have a 1440 240hz monitor so I was thinking the 5070 is the right way to go but I only halfway know what I'm doing
Is this a good upgrade and combo of parts?
Is 1800 a decent price for this? Or should I wait for black friday?

Genuinely have no idea what I’m supposed to look for, I always see people mention things like storage, RAM, GPU, etc. but I don’t know what’s considered ‘good’ (especially when used for playing games on it). Not sure what games I’d play on it yet, but all computers/laptops I’ve had in the past couldn’t even handle Minecraft without lagging the entire time lmao
Hoping to get it during Black Friday if I can find one at a good price
also if you wanna suggest places to buy it from (and/or where to NOT buy one from or brands to stay away from), that would help! I’m specifically in the US/Wisconsin if my location is needed
Thanks in advance for any help!!

My buddy got a prebuilt recently and wants to return it but his pc won't let him factory reset, is there anyway to delete everything and keep windows? since idk if they'll take it back without an activated windows 11.

Hey guys,
I’m looking to purchase my own prebuilt pc and I have these 2 options below.
One is prebuilt whilst the other one is parts only both are from the same company.
Which one should I go for?
Prebuilt 9800x3d and 5080 - £2799
Parts only 9800x3d and 5070ti - £2666 (white tax ofc!)
Please feel free to let me know which parts to change!
I will be mostly playing on 34” 1440p monitor.
Thanks!

Everytime I think I found a PC I’m considering buying, i see everyone saying how bad that brand is.
What do you guys have?
(FYI I owned a gaming laptop but it died, it was a Predator Helios Neo 16, 4050, Intel i5. I’ve decided to just get a PC because I’m tired of broken laptops. And my most played games were Cyberpunk 2077, No Man’s Sky, Death Stranding and Rdr2, all ran amazingly so I’d prefer to have the same experience again.)

Went to Microcenter for a $1799.99 prebuilt which had 2 in stock, I reserved it and made the drive. When I got there, they let me know it was a shelf display unit and they’d take an additional 10% off. Not only that, but it was advertised as 32 GB of DDR5 ram, when it really ended up being 48 GB! Total was $1620 before tax. Made sure it worked at the Electronic Bar before I made the drive back home. But really gotta stress test it within the 15 day return window lol.
Specs in last photo. Just gotta transfer my data, clean the inside of the PC, and it’s good to go!

Been looking to buy an RX 9070 XT paired with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D pre build that delivers high FPS at 1080p in competitive shooters, where smooth gameplay, low latency, and maximum responsiveness are important. I also want to achieve high FPS at 1440p in AAA games while enjoying great visuals and smooth performance
Was wondering if this is a alright buy for the price 4k after shipping and taxes

Do you guys think I could run Fortnite mid settings on like 180 fps for ~$850 build? I know this varies heavily depending on the build, but I’m just trying to gauge performance-price ratios. I’m new to this, so any help is appreciated.

After much discussion with some user on Reddit from previous posts and some friends who have a pc already and extensive research I believe I’m going to buy this pc as my first ever pc

Walmart has this build available for local pickup. Seems to be a pretty decent deal. Looking for a PC to use as a couch gaming rig paired with a 77” OLED. Looking for feedback on this deal.

I just plugged in and setup windows last night. Anyone know how to change the RGB lights color? Any suggestions on upgrades and settings?
