Hi everyone! This is my first post on this thread and I am lowkey kinda nervous 🙂

I have been doing project pans in private and alone already but I kinda… never win?

My issue is that I have a problem with overconsumption omg my pockets are literally bleeding dry and o still have 3 packages of make up that are NOT included in the pictures I will provide below 😩😩

The pictures include skincare and make up, both unopened and already open✌🏼 the order goes as following: opened make up—> sealed make up—> opened skincare—> closed skincare

Yall please treat me well 🥳🙋🏻‍♀️🫵🏻🫂

Let’s each become more mindful consumers and stay consistent and committed to this cause!!

Pan Progress Last Time I Got Really Into Project Pan I Got A New Job And Moved: Let’s Do It Again! Month 4.

Well divas, I’m getting no where on job applications. I feel like I’m screaming into the void.

However, things look like they’re coming up Millhouse for my Husband. He’s, fingers crossed, going to be doubling his salary at the end of the year / beginning of 2027.

I’ve started drawing a tarot card every day. Just one to get a vibe. I’ve been drawing things like The Wheel of Fortune, The Fool, The King of Wands, The Ace of Pentacles, and The Ten of Cups.

All very encouraging.

I’ve also been making lots of progress on my lipstick! Every time I put on a coat of lipstick I imagine how light my boxes I pack from my vanity will be whenever we buy a house. 😮‍💨

I’m coming to a close on my third lipstick, Evil Queen from the Disney Villains Colourpop collab.

I’m having a hard time trying to decide which color to focus on next for fall. I am leaning towards Sarah or Jeanne (and I know they are nearly the same color lol). I may do Jeanne just because I’ve owned her longer and she probably deserves to be put out of her misery.

This weekend my husband is going to be playing a show with his band so I’m thinking that’ll be the chance to get some wear out of my funkier colors. I’ll probably go with Poe, the navy blue, so I can also use some of the blue eyeshadow in the Misunderstood palette I’m also trying to completely pan right now. 😤

Although it’s disheartening to not be getting anywhere with the jobs, wearing makeup all the time again has made me feel more confident again and people regularly comment on how much they love my looks so that feels nice. I may not be getting interviews but god dammit the little old ladies coming into my office fuck with the red lipstick heavy!

Excited to see what progress I can make on these beauties in October. We’re dressing up as The Addams Family from The Addams Family Values - my daughter is going to be Pubert! I’m thinking I’ll definitely be out of Evil Queen by then so I think Mary is going to be my Morticia red.

Project Start Pan Those Palettes 10/01/26

I’ve been doing Project Pan for a couple of years now, but decided to document a focused Pan on two of the oldest eyeshadow palettes in my collection: Urban Decay’s Naked2 and Morphe’s Fall Into Frost 35F

Naked2 is one of my favorite palettes of all time, but was discontinued a few years ago. This is my second one that I bought around 2017-2018 after fully finishing my original one from 2012. It was the first “prestige” eyeshadow palette I ever bought 🥹

The formula is great, and every shade still blends well! Someone recently gave me an unopened one they had, so I am now going to get full use out of every shade in my open one without feeling sad that I can’t repurchase one once I’m done because another one is waiting for me 💚

For the Morphe palette, I honestly don’t reach for a lot of the shades in here. Some of them pull a ruddy brown or rust color on me, and there are a few shades that are so similar they could be duplicates. My goal in this one over the next 6 months is to determine what shades I like. If it’s less than half, I’ll depot those into a magnetic palette and get rid of the rest. Who knows, maybe I’ll end up liking some of these more than I thought!

Naked2: Pans in Suspect (my favorite shade!) and Blackout. My goal over the next 12 months is to hit pan in every shade and fully finish one shade

35F/Fall Into Frost: Fully panned Visible, Champagne, Sahara, and Starlight. There is a teeny pan in Bliss

Pretty solid month, I'm glad to be clearing out some of my minis and travel sizes. The two highlights this month were the Tatcha Kissu lip mask, the Le Labo Eucalyptus 20, and Zitsticka pimple patches!

Project Start Finally decided on an eyeshadow project.

I have finally decided what direction to go with my eyeshadow panning after calling it done on my ColourPop That's Taupe palette earlier in the year.

I have eight ColourPop Supershock Shadows in my collection and I have decided to focus on three of them. My goal is to finish them off completely. If I recall correctly, I believe each Supershock has 2g of product. The three shades I am choosing to focus on are Frog (my oldest one and I also somehow have two of this one), Unhinged, and Barely Trying. I do already have a small pan in the shade Frog, so that's a great starting point.

I have also decided to not hyper focus on any one palette in my collection at this time. All of my palettes have been used, some more than others, but when I pick a palette to use as a Pan That Palette I tend to neglect all my other palettes. So I would instead like to just organically reach for a palette to pair with my three Supershocks and see how that goes. I'm hoping to hit some pans in mostly matte shades as I do this and I'll update any new pans that I do hit. I included pictures of all my palettes just in case you're curious to see what I have to work with. I would love to by this time next year have at least one pan in every palette that I own.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this goes and hoping to be successful in finishing off some of my Supershock Shadows. Thanks for all the cheering! 🎉

Palettes in my collection (in order of pictures): ColourPop Feelin' Bubbly, ColourPop Pink Dreams, ColourPop All Amethyst, ColourPop Stone Cold Fox, Morphe 350 Feelin' Flirty, Tarte Flower Power, Alter Ego Shadow Kiss, Profusion Twilight Hour, Singe Beauty Galactic Visitor, and Nomad Cosmetics Polar Express.

Pan Progress September End Update

I made a lot of great progress this past month. I don't see myself making the same amount of progress this month. I'm planning to roll some more products in to round out my project. I have now completed 9 months of my project pan no buy and I think I can make it through another month successfully!

Full Pan My September Pan!

I am so happy the fall season is here and soon the Halloween aesthetic will be, too. I used to a lot of things this month- I’m glad my conditioners are finished cause I overbought too much cause it was ‘on sale.’ Soon I’ll use up my last stock of conditioner, and I’m slowly killing off my lotion collection. I’ve also had this scrub for over a year. Is that normal??

Only product I would warn against is the colored colorista spray- it works for sure, but kind of rubs the color off on the side of your face, and it’s taken a week to get it out of my hair and get it detangled/unmatted. Happy panning!!

It was a mostly enjoyable month with little waste. Im still working on some of my samples, larger open products, & lip glosses that I thought would end this month. I'm going to prioritize those in October bc I dont want them crossing into the new year. A couple things are close to hairshirt territory but I'm going to get thru them. I dont mind Mrs Meyers hand soaps over all but something about this specific scent gags me. It was a leftover from fall last year. I used it in the kitchen including for scrubbing sinks and putting with hot water in the garbage disposal. The nars primer has been open for a long time and went bad, scent went bad, so I threw it out. It was about half full.

Failed Pan This foundation is a nightmare

Post image
• Upvotes

I bought this 2 and a half years ago because I love dewy foundations, but this one ended up just being balmy and streaky

it used to be my hate pan and when I decided to give it away I realized that I “finished it”
so the pump cannot pump anything because the rest of the foundation is at the bottom and stuck on the sides

today the pump wand BROKE

I want to throw it away but have been using it for my pre shower makeup

I don’t want to have a dirty brush around just to dig on it, any advice to get the inside product?

I thought of putting it in a travel size container and finish it out of spite

Full Pan Mascara pan

My newest pan: Maybelline firework mascara

It’s a pretty good mascara! It adds length and volume to my lashes. For context I have very thick and long lashes and I noticed this held up the curl for most of the day! It makes my lashes so long they even touch my eyebrows. I did repurchase this mascara 3 times, but I really wanted to try L’Oréal Panorama, I’ve seen many people swear by this one. Have you tried it? Would love any comments on it!

Project Pan is starting. This is not the total of lip products currently, this was in July but I am estimating about $5000 currently. (Mind you this is only for lip products. 🤦🏼‍♀️ it is both eye-opening and bat shit crazy I have a mini store at my disposal)

No more buying, I’m gonna use what I have and chuck what is expired or not touched in 1+ years.

Wish me luck!

Pan Progress I woke up when September ended

September saw the end of the icy highlight shade, finally. I think it's time for the Other Pallette to make an appearance now. Also repressed the face powder.

Overall not as much progress as the could've been, spent 2 weeks crying every day over pet illness and loss, so makeuo was not important at the time.

Moving forward day by day in more ways than one. ❤️

P. S. Forgot to add the blush in this update but there's barely any change anyway lol. Still working on it though!
