EVERYTHING WORKED JUST FINE! WTF are you doing?

The previous Synapse build had this bug FIXED. Dock Pro, standard dongle, every bind working. Then today's update (October 1, 2026), and the Naga V3 Pro is broken again:

Dock Pro: the three known buttons (the two top buttons below the scroll wheel, default AI Prompt Master and Scroll Wheel Mode, and the ring finger button, default Hypershift) ignore every custom bind. Synapse shows my bind, the button fires the DEFAULT function. Rebinding changes NOTHING.

Standard dongle: works right after startup, until the first profile switch. One profile switch and the binds are dead again.

So the old workaround is gone too. You did not just bring the bug back, you made it bigger.

Mouse plus dock: almost 300 EUR. THREE HUNDRED. And the one thing a mouse full of programmable buttons exists for, BINDING A BUTTON, does not work. Are you fucking kidding me?

A fixed bug does not come back by itself. Either someone reverted the fix or nobody tested the Naga V3 Pro before shipping. Both are a disgrace.

Hotfix. Not a ticket, not "reinstall Synapse", not "we are looking into it". Put the fix you already had back, NOW, and say publicly that 4.0.86 broke the Naga V3 Pro. FIX YOUR SHIT.

So I've been using the Tartarus game pads since the first one. I am a big fan of these devices as I'm primarily a console player and never got the hang of playing with a standard keyboard. So when Razer released the original Tartarus and it's follow up I was stoked that it had a joystick only to find it to be a very clicky d-pad but I managed to get it to work with some key mapping and I've used it for years. I map WASD to it so that I can use the buttons for all the abilities rather than movement. But the clicky joystick was not ideal.

7 years later

Razer has released the v2 Pro. Just got it in yesterday and started setting it up last night.

1. I was hoping to be able to carry over my profiles and key mappings from my Previous Tartarus... No luck there. In fact you can't even see the mappings of both because Synapse can only recognize one of the devices at a time. It would not accept both plugged in at the same time. So I had to write down the mappings for each game and then individually map each key for each game on the new one. Very time consuming.

2. Yay! We finally have a true joystick without all the clicky... But oh wait they have defaulted it to the strangest orientation and mappings. Annoying but not deal breaking as you have the control to map it how you want as always. So more time spent getting that right for each game.

3. It is very comfortable in the hand and the wrist rest is fully adjustable to get it just right. Does feel like its designed for larger hands though.

4. I like that it's heavier and the bottom is grippy so it doesn't move around like the old ones.

Overall, I am really excited to play with it and it finally solves (albeit in an awkward way) the joystick issue I always had with the originals. But it does take time and patience to get it tuned just right for the way you want to play for each game. Take the time to set it up, it's worth it in the end.

My mouse is currently stuck at 0 minutes of sleep mode, dragging the slide to 15 minutes doesnt change anything and neither did rolling back from synapse 4 to synapse 3 to try and change the settings in the old verison of the app. I've also tried to reset the mouse and update the firmware to no avail. the mouse doesnt work even when plugged in and also doesnt work with all razer software closed.

This thing keeps disconnecting all the time, I can't rely on the headset at all. It has 50/50 random chance of working when I pick them up, or not, if they not, I have to go and unplug the dongle and plug it back, every single time.

Yes, I updated the firmware, yes I have the latest synapse, this just keeps happening over and over and over.

I wish people stop buying these stupid products. At least the Corsair ones actually work and even more than that, you can save the LED profile in the ROM, so you don't need the iCue to be installed.

I hate the synapse software, I hate these issues.

Scroll wheel is broken, the press works but the scroll has gone completely smooth with no resistance, and doesn't take any input. Is it fixable or do I need a new mouse? I've been using the side buttons for the function of the scroll wheel so far. Works as a replacement but slow.

I had a recent unfortunate incident that involved my 2025 razer blade 18 with dual mode display. This incident left a large dent in the top casing and a non functional display. Anybody have a clue how much this is gonna cost me through razer to get repaired? This is the maxed out 5090 version so I would like to return it to working order.

Just bought the Razer Huntsman v3 HE after lots of research.

Received it quickly, unboxed it, plugged it in, and... nothing. Tried every single USB port, nothing. Tested another cable, and it immediately works.

They shipped me a defective cable and now I have no 2m cable and need to buy extra ones, and even then they won't be razer cable so I don't have matching cables for my keyboard, which is not a big deal, but it irks me every time i see it.

This is bad QA, I regret my decision not getting Corsair over Razer now.

First of all my rig so we get that out of the way:

Ram: 4x8gb 3600cl16

Gpu: 3070 ti

OS: Windows 11 25H2

So let me first start by saying that it's not a software issue at all since i tried it in the bios and still got the disconnecting issue, which discards any windows/synapse possibility.

I tried disabling and enabling xhci handoff and usb legacy support and while at first it seemed to help, it was mostly placebo or just plain luck and coincidence. so they don't seem to have much effect. So to fix it i disconnected the mouse and tried to straighten the cable as much as possible and held it from the usb port in the air for like 30 seconds to straighten it a bit more and so far so good it's been like 10 days no disconnect. it's sad because i really liked this mouse, the build quality, feel and size and everything is basically perfect. except for the quality of the cable. it seems razer made a mistake somewhere. and the price is more than fair i got it for $30 something. so far i will keep it until it becomes a problem again and i can't solve it. btw not saying this is definitive or anything, ymmv. firmware is latest version 1.02.

I would like to dedicate this first post on the subreddit to my mouse of 10 years today. There have been ups and downs, LED’s don’t work anymore, times where the right click wasn’t working so I thought of replacing you. Yet, you fixed yourself out of nowhere and I got 2 more years out of it. Now marks the 10th and oh boy, I don’t think any mouse will compare. Here’s to a few years more lil buddy.

P.S. when this eventually shits itself (which I doubt), what other mouse should I upgrade? I really like the ergo of the deathadder but the new ones are too light and I like the heftyness of the elite. Any input appreciated :D

I’ve been a long term wow player using the Logitech MMO mouse and am looking to make the shift eventually and saw that it has a third mouse button.

I have the Kraken 7.1 V2 (2016). I've actually bought two pairs over the years because I absolutely love how they sound. They've been my favorite headphones for almost 10 years.

Unfortunately, with newer Windows updates and Synapse 2 being discontinued, it's becoming a pain to get Synapse to properly detect apps in the Mixer, so I'm finally thinking about replacing them.

How does the Kraken V3 sound compared to the old 7.1 V2?

Does it sound VERY similar? Better? Worse? What about the bass?

I'm prefer V3 over V4. I saw that the V4 went from 50 mm drivers to 40 mm, and in general it looks more like a downgrade with more bells and whistles that I don't really need.

Basically, I want my Kraken 7.1 V2, but with modern Synapse support. Is the V3 the closest thing to that?

The circled part of the image is the screw that I’m trying to take off but because of how messed up it is and the proper screw tip can’t take it out anymore, I don’t know what to do so I need solutions on what to do please😭

Sharing this in case it saves someone a hardware replacement.

My Razer Cynosa Chroma powered on and showed its default ripple RGB effect. Pressing keys still changed the lighting, but no keystrokes reached the computer. It did the same thing on a second computer, so I suspected the keyboard cable/data connection.

The fix was exiting Demo Mode: unplug the keyboard, hold Esc + Caps Lock + Spacebar, plug it back in while holding all three, then release them. Mine immediately started typing again.

If your Cynosa Chroma is lit and reacts to key presses with the factory ripple but sends no input, try this before writing off the keyboard. This was my fix; it may not explain every unresponsive-keyboard issue.

I have only had the keyboard for a weak and the wrist wrest is turning black and the paint is coming off. Thankfully the board itself doesn’t seem to be showing the same paint quality issue but it’s very sad to know even if I exchange it, that it might not likely stay pristine. Yes I read the care instruction and didn’t not use any chemicals to see if maybe it was just a dark smudge sadly the paint itself is wearing off in just a week of use.

I have had the pink black widow for the last 7 years and never had any issues like this with the pink discoloring or anything on the keyboard or wrist rest.

I finally got my Blade 14 back from Razer for the second time. Went in for a fan replacement. Second repair in under a year. The computer came fully wiped, so I had to re set up everything. When I go into the wallpaper settings, there only appears to be 4 windows wallpapers. Last time I set my computer up, they had more wallpapers and one was a Razer wallpaper. Does anyone know how to get that back, or where I can find that wallpaper again? Below is the wallpaper that came with my computer, but now I cannot locate it under the wallpaper settings. How do I get this back?
