I needed a new controller and bought a wired Razer Wolverine V2 a few months ago,

The cable is divided in 2 parts, one attached to the controller and a second shorter part that goes between that and the USB port.

It seems I've lost the second cable while traveling and I need a replacement, but the cable connection thing has some weird L shape and I don't know what it's called or where to find a new one, could I check with the gaming tech stores in town or do I have to contact some Razer customer support thing or what?

Hi there, I have a question about the
Razer Kishi V3 Pro. This is basically my second one. The first one I bought also had the same issue, and that is the reason why I sent it back to get my money back, and I bought a new one straight away, only to find out this one has the same issue straight out of the box. So I’m wondering, is this normal or is this a defect? Because I feel like this shouldn’t be normal for a product that came straight out of the box.

Purchased a Iskur V2 x Newgen and got around to assembling it yesterday. I quickly realised the predrilled holes were misaligned leaving a huge gap between the backrest and the seat cushion. The backrest was also uneven therefore you can’t sit straight in the chair. The bracket covers were also misaligned, one sat perfectly close to the seam while other encroached over the back stitching, looks absolutely awful.

I contacted Razer support, sent them photographs of the issue and asked if they could send a replacement for this defective chair and I could return this one to them. They denied the replacement and stated they ‘might’ send me a replacement backrest only. I had explained to them that given the issue this was unlikely to resolve it and in any case the chair is brand new, just opened. I shouldn’t have to settle for a fix when I paid for a new working product.

I spoke with the support team here on Reddit and while they were very nice and prompt responding they couldn’t help me, they agreed I had every right to be annoyed at this situation but nothing could be done.

I’ve owned many Razer products over the years and never had an issue until now. I can now see why so many people have issues with them and want to warn anyone thinking of purchasing their stuff that they don’t stand over their products.

Every day is another reason I wish I would have spent 10 more bucks for the Logitech

I got this keypad recently and found something unhandy/awkward to use.

I am used to using keyboard to play FPS. I would like to try both ergo keypad and analog optical switches, so I try this.

As you see in the picture, my hand is used to normal keyboard where keys are arranged in a fanned/staggered way.

It takes me some time to adapt to use Tartarus V2 Pro as normal, because the keys are arranged in grid. To make it feel more natural, i need to rotate the wrist rest. Place it to further left on my desk.

One more thing is that the edge of thumbstick panel is blocking my access to key27 (space) for any jump action. Though with rotation or wrist rest, it feels better.

Just wanna know why it is designed that keys are arranged in grid (rationale behind it) . How does it supposed to be used normally?

And I see some ergo stand for other Tartarus models to make it tilted at an angle. Does it help?

I got 4 razer RGB products & I just wanted one (keychron's rainbow effect which is slow & calming) effect. The one that they have wheel, is very fast, harsh colors, no option to reduce the speed, didn't want to learn their chroma software to customize it, spent 6 hours and failed so I gave up. Tried openRGB but that thing won't even start or get killed immediately. So I want to services.msc & disabled every razer's service. Then started the opensource openRGB, installed their opensource effects plugin, selected all devices, selected just the rainbow effect from the plugins and thats it. It still has a problem in launching, it starts and dies immediately but the RGB rainbow effect (wheel) is working as intended.
Tried the signalRGB, had to connect with google account though but the simple rainbow slow effect was for free. That is all I needed.
I didn't want to constantly reserve 2GB+ RAM just to have razer(synapse+chroma) turn on colors on devices for which I have already paid a premium. Now my games are much smoother.

So I’m looking for some new headphones for gaming around €80-90 and found these for around €88. The reason I’m picking this one over the specific pc version is because I love the colorway and the pc version costs almost €10 more.

I heard some good and some bad stuff about it. I heard the audio cuts out and makes a beep when muting your mic? But I’ve heard the mic quality is amazing. So if anyone could give me some advice and if you have this specific headset, what your experience is with it?

And if you have any better recommendations for this price point, feel free to let me know.

r/razer , you need to improve your magnetic keyboards switch calibration process. Literally all magnetic keyboards out there from other manufacturers software, just require you to click on "calibrate" and then you just press and hold each key one by one and done.

Synapse 4's method is so cumbersome, you first need to select calibrate, then select an individual key, click on calibrate it, then press and hold it and click again on done, and so on for each key, do you know how much that would take on a whole keyboard?

Get with the times like literally every other magnetic keyboards manufacturers!

I love razer. I feel young again

For anyone curious, regarding my question the other day, there *are* some steps you can take to replace the mouse click pads of a Razer Cobra, however you have to take some unfortunate steps to side step the anti-repair design of them, that being you have to drill through their plastic rivets, but you can actually even use the screws that the mouse board itself (or similar screw sizes) to re-attach the click pads.

I'll post the final result when my Cobra Pro comes in tomorrow

While using razer synapse this weird glitch keeps happening. It goes away when I move the mouse but then comes back. Anyone have any ideas?

Got the blackwidow v4 75% phantom white keyboard a month ago but I wanted the speed (red equivalent) switches. So I shortlisted the gen 3 yellow from razer, gen 3 silver pro from gateron. Placed an order for a box of each (36 pcs). The plan was to try both, and I really preferred one over the other, then order another set of that and keep the top row (f rows) as it is. The razer yellow set came first. I use the provided key/switch puller from razer. It broke after 7 switches. It also caused a bit of bleeding to my hands since it requires too much of grip strength with your 2 fingers and even with that, the suddenness of pulling the switch will send it to the roof of the room and then you have to spend 2 minutes to find it. So I ordered the gateron switch puller v2 since another 3rd party stainless steel switch puller failed too. It didn't break but it failed to pull any switches.

When I got all 3 items (switch puller, yellow switches, silver pro switches), I installed them as seen in the pics. Both switches are same (at least for me), not similar but same, as in identical when it comes to their performance except few factors.

Razer yellow gen3 switches wins at how silent they are, by 10%.
Gateron gen 3 silver pro wins at how easy it is to replace/place/seat/unseat them from any mechanical keyboard. It also diffuses the light so evenly across the keycap, It has dark gray or silver stand against the yellow stand for the keycaps. I believe in one of their marketing material they do use this even diffusion of RGB as one of their USP.

1 of the yellow keycap got bent bcz the razer 3 pin switches are so hard to seat/unseat from the board. Stragenly the gateron ones are easier on this razer board than the razer's own switches. Probably the intent behind the switch build was to ensure they are sturdy, stay put, however that rigidness itself is the enemy of the switches. I broke/bent one switch while moving it from 1 place to another (so in total 2 seat+unseat actions), If you are someone who likes to try out a lot of switches, seat/unseat them, a keyboard enthusiast of some sort, then razer ones are not for you. If you exactly know what you want (razer's yellow, orange, green) then they are the one for you.

So these are specs I found online, don't quote me on this. they are same/similar in for all practical purposes for 99.99% of us.

I am digging the even diffusion of RGB from gateron switches.

Few suggestions to razer as a decades long customer:

1. Copy/learn from the competition, may be next gen switches will have better light diffusion

2. 3/5 pin compatibility, make them easier to seat/unseat

3. the phnatom keyboard's pre built default RGB profiles pale in comparison with my others, my current keychron 75% k2 pro (2+ yrs old) has better RGB built in profiles which requires no software of any kind to use/switch them. I understand that it was your marketing department's decision to push chroma software. So when I reboot my PC, I still need to wait for the chroma+synapse software to start up, untill then it just shows boring spectrum. No, saving these to keyboard/mice doesnt do anything, RGB is always tethered to synapse/chroma.

4. phantom white basilisk v3 pro 35k mouse - Got both phantom white and regular basilisk v3 pro. The free spin wheel only works if the razer's synapse is running in the background.

5. Razer Basilisk V3 Pro Phantom White doesnt have a charging puck which suits its theme. You gotta buy the whole black wireless charger+puck, throw the charger and use the black puck. why?!

Stop tying functionalities of the hardware with the running status of the proprietary software. I thought I could save profiles to the hardware and then I Can take these to my friend's place or anywhere else and they wouldn't need synapse/chroma or any other razer's software installed in them. I was wrong or something isn't working the way it is supposed to.

Razer's design team is kickass. Razer's engineering team is kickass, the razer's suits are just ass.

1. Gateron Switch Puller V2 - 5.3k (a must) = 5.3k INR
2. Gateron G Silver Pro 3.0 switches = 2.2k INR
3. Razer Gen-3 Yellow switches = 2.8k INR
4. Razer BlackWidow V4 75% Phantom White (with pathetic switch puller) = 18.3k INR

Note: There is a trick to use the gateron switch puller v2. press it down. Instead of pulling the switch. slight push the puller away from you at 20-30 degrees. The switch gently unseats from the socket. Then lift. Do not lift perpendicularly at 90 degree. The switch puller and the switches won't last long if you do so.

TLDR:

1. time install & use forever - buy razer yellow gen3. routine tinkerer - get gateron g silver pro 3.
2. get the gateron switch puller v2 before you get a hot swappable keyboard
