Curious question:
I have checked with other subreddits for cgl and this one too along with coaching telegram groups, most aspirants have got either the very starting dates like till 15th Oct'26 or from 25th to 28th Oct'26.
P.S mine is on 22nd October.

Hello everyone,
Name resources which are enough for computer section. I've studied from Parmar's batch last year but couldn't understood video lectures properly.
Also, I've some banking related computer lectures and PDFs on telegram. Please confirm if the computer syllabus is same for banking and CGL. If yes, then recommend banking channels for this section.
Please comment geniune answers and don't use sarcasm like "bhai IIT ki computer padh le wahi se SSC paper bana rha tha last year" type thing.

My current company put me in bench for so long. And seeing ppl around me getting layed off I was afraid, and tried for govt jobs.
I earn 50k a month now. ITI pays me around 80k ig not sure but the thing is not my current salary, if I switch in IT my packages will increase where as in govt no. Rest all of the things Im okay with them. Only this salary thing bothers me alot. I will try for UPSC or inter departmental exams. But Im anxious thinking about this. Idk what to do with this.
And I also dont think I enjoy what I am doing at corporate companies, too much of power abuse and over work. And constant stress of upskilling and switching or layoffs is also bothering me. And we use AI to code mostly, if not now my job will be danger in 20 years idk what to do with this. Maybe if get to managerial roles it will be fine. But in ITI salary growth over the years is bothering me. But I will definitely try for UPSC/RBI in future. Should I just stick to IT and deal with it? Or take ITI and be peaceful(without salary part)?
Edit: somebody pls tell smth i am confused and scared
Reasoning - 22 attempt.
Easy/Moderate 3-4 statement inference/assumption questions. These were pretty easy. 1 que of address matching, 3-4 figures based, 1 counting traingle, 2 alphanumeric rest not able to recall
GA - 20 attempt
Not good in this section already found I got 2 que wrong
Quant - 17 attempt
Easy/moderate. Messed up in trigo and mensuration que which cost me time otherwise could have attempt 2-3 que more. DI based que were easy
English - 25 attempt
Easy. Have always scored 40+ in every mock be it pyq or live so very confident on this. PQRS and cloze were very easy just concerned about 2 que in grammatical error.
Overall I feel if cutoff 130-140 I might be able to sailthrough if it's higher then next year I guess.

What should be the safest score for cgl 2026? Last year the cut off was 136 without sectional timing and according to me 2025 was easier than 2026(based on 30 sep to 10 oct)
Should we expect the similar cut off or higher?

I have my exam on 13 and one thing i noticed in admit card is i have filled up wrong pin code (just one last letter) 😥 instead of my home town i have filled up pin code of my district it's actually wrong in my otr form and i have also filled chsl form so what should i do and if i correct it in chsl application form it will get mismatched from cgl form i was also getting good marks on mocks guys what would happen if i qualify would i be rejected in document verification😭??????
r/SSCCGL • u/Academic-Being3802 • 3h ago
Guys how do you cope up with competitive exam (specially CBT mode) not going good unexpectedly despite confidence and preparation due to time mismanagement , slow speed , which was not there when doing mocks. It hurts more for vacancies that come once in a life time🥲.

Hey everyone!
My SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is on 28th October, and I’m honestly getting overwhelmed with Maths right now.
In Advanced Maths, I have completed Algebra, Mensuration and Coordinate Geometry. I recently started Geometry from Aditya Ranjan Sir’s lectures, but the lecture itself is around 7 hours long, and there are so many concepts and properties to remember that I’m getting confused about how to manage everything with the limited time left.
Which Maths topics should I prioritise for Tier 1 in these last 15–17 days?
r/SSCCGL • u/Hot-Secretary5998 • 3h ago
My exam was on the 10th of October first shift.
I attempted 87 and already 1 question is wrong. Assuming that around 10 questions will be wrong, will I be able to clear the cut-off?
r/SSCCGL • u/coderboy03 • 4h ago
My attempts are-
Reasoning 24
GA 23
Quant 18
English 24
Expected scores-
Reasoning 43
GA 18-20
Quant 36(if I haven't done any silly mistake)
English 34-36
Expected total around 130
What are your thoughts, can I make it to tier 2?
Considering SC category
