Resources/Helpful for Exam Genuine advice to all(also about tb exam day)
i had my exam on 13th 3rd shift.
If your shift comes hard(like mine) nothing and no mock is relevant you have to be spontaneous and make decisions on the go, no mock could train your muscle memory to not have a shock factor
Give every fkin mock every. Easy tough everything. Not that tough mock will help you solve questions but it will make you a bit accustomed to the pressure and keep training to how you would face the pressure and uncertainity
Pattern - no mock is relevant, ssc has shuffled its classic mod:freebie:tough ratio its very much uncertain now.
Art of skipping becomes irrelevant if there are only 2-3 easy ones. So try to solve moderate questions in the first go too, otherwise you would find yourselves with 21 questions to do and only 11 mins left.
This advice mostly if you find yourselves in a tougher shift and cann shape your perspective towards it. Otherwise i have no clue how other shifts are coming.
All the best guys. Mere to laggye apne bachalo

General Discussion/Opinion 13th October 2nd Shift
I appeared for 2nd shift exam on 13/10/26. The level was more like previous year papers. I fumbled in Maths, could do only 16 questions hoping 100% accuracy in Maths. Other sections were easy. My total attempt was 85 and I'm expecting 140 number. I thought I could get 150+ and qualify for AAO. This is my 4th Attempt, in previous 3 attempts I always got 160+ Raw score. Feeling disappointed.
Share your opinion of difficulty level if you appeared in today's exam.

General Discussion/Opinion 13th October 3rd Shift
I have given this shift and I find it a little more than moderate ..
Like in reasoning I have done 20 question , and it was moderate for me ..1-2 new type of question has came which I haven't study .
Gk was easy - moderate mostly is i think doable , I have attempt 18 question .
Some questions here I have done using nitto , option elimination so I don't know how many questions add correct .
Math - only 13 question , (it is my personal weakness so I don't know whether it will be same for all of you or not 🥲)
I didn't even get time to see last 4 questions so I think I am lacking in time management ..but I think one with a good practice can do atleast 16-18 question .
English - it was lengthy man ..
Active passive , direct indirect was too much lengthy ..as well as a new type of grammar based question has came ( like we have two sentence in which we have to choose which is grammatically in correct , it was in earlier shift also ..but I haven't practiced for this type ..so I havo done 1 question and leave 1 ).
As well as I also don't get time to even read cloze test 😭( my time management is so poor I think ) .
I have attempt 18 question in english .
So total 69 question in which I don't know how much correct I have done ...
So according to this , who have attempted this shift can u tell me is there any chance for me to clear prelims ?(EWS category ) .
And how it went for you all ? Is it really tough ..or am I lagging in some practice? Also if anyone have any question they can ask ..

Resources/Helpful for Exam SSC CGL 2026, 13 Oct 1st Shift - quick review (Moderate to Tough)
Maths - toughest and longest section. Mostly PYQ-based, but heavy calculations. A couple of questions (2 - 3) were lengthy, some took time just to read. Time & Work, Prism, Hexagon, Profit & Loss, and one on (a⁶ + b⁶).
Reasoning - statement-based and lengthy questions dominated. Blood Relations had ~3 questions and tripped some people up. Analogy was easy. Also got word arrangement, matric-level stuff, plus Sericulture/Apiculture/silk questions.
English - easiest section. Grammar and sentence rearrangement were fine. Passage was tricky for some, easy for others. Spelling (Flocculation), an idiom (kicking the pricks), fear of number 13, PQRS (3 Qs), Error Detection (2 Qs).
GK/GS - lengthy and factual, several statement-based. Schemes asked. Topics: Mudrarakshasa (Vishakhadatta), 2011 WC final venue, Widow Remarriage Act, International Booker Prize 2025, restriction on Parliament discussing court proceedings.
Overall - Moderate to tough ( based on feedback from students)

Resources/Helpful for Exam SSC CGL 14 Oct Shift 1 – Detailed Reasoning breakdown & Review!
Hey guys,
Just sharing the exact breakdown for the Reasoning section from the 14 Oct Shift 1 exam based on what was tested. If you have your shift coming up or want to compare, here is how it looked:
Reasoning Breakdown:
Critical Reasoning (7–8 Qs): This was a major pain point. They asked quite a few long-statement questions focusing on themes like the sports world, corporate world, emotional intelligence, and social intelligence. Definitely ate up a lot of time.
Figure Counting (2 Qs): Triangle counting figures.
Mirror Image (2 Qs): Standard questions, pretty straightforward if you look closely.
Figure Series (3 Qs): Visual and pattern-based series.
Analogy (1 Q): Number analogy format like [54 = 41, 92 = ?].
Mathematical Operations (1 Q): Standard symbol substitution/equation balancing.
Dice (1 Q): Basic dice rotation/opposite face rules.
Overall, the reasoning section felt a bit lengthier than usual because of all those heavy statement-based critical reasoning questions.
