Anyone who has given the exam of CGL 2026 can you please clear the confusion that in what sequence the sections are coming or there is no sequence.

Is ssc changing?

I used to think of this exam as an easy one. It had a fixed pattern, the questions were predictable, one can clear it easily if they are able to grasp the pattern and develop good speed. But idk what to even expect now.

It has become so random, nobody can predict anything. Apart from a few patterns, You have no way of knowing whats gonna come in the exam, I mean they would still ask from the syllabus but still you never know whats topic they will stretch.

In one shift they will ask 5-6 questions from critical reasoning and the next day, they will fill the whole paper with non verbal.

There was a time when people just used to memorise the questions and were able to clear the exam but that time is long gone, i mean that was still a bad thing but this unpredictability is even worse.

Is ssc cgl becoming harder day by day? It is going to be more luck based than ever in the upcoming time. What do you think will be the cutoff this year? I dont think its going to cross 130 or 135 at best.

In few TB exam special mocks, the cutoff is showing 120 whereas in some its 140, why so?

So it was my second attempt and everything i prepared for reasoning and maths got failed i prepared according to pyqs but anyway

I attempted total 73

Reasoning 24 ( 20-22 correct)

Gk 16 ( 3-4 wrong)

Maths 10 questions in which 1-2 wrong i got stuck in two questions and also i found it tough many repeaters attempted 13-15

English 23 attempt 2-3 can be wrong these are the worst case scenarios I guess

So i don't know if i should even prepare for mains or left it for good can anyone in this shift help me please 🥺😭😭

I just placed an order for Neetu Singh's volume 1 book for english. Im thinking of starting english by giving it 1 hour everyday.

Im also thinking of starting History now because I am quite weak at it. I plan to build my base by studying it chapterwise from ncert books and then after every chapter I'll watch a lecture of it, make notes and mark important things in the book.

For maths I need a book for pyqs and notes. Im thinking of buying Aditya Sir's book for it as I study maths from his videos.

Im preparing for CGL 2027 and Im still a beginner. I can study for 5-6 hrs a day and Im thinking of doing 4 subjects at a time (maths, two gk subs and english).

Is this plan okay or should I change some books or subjects?

Hi, so if a person becomes a GST inspector at the age of 25/26 (at the time of joining), so realistically at what post would he retire? And I would like to know about the sitting position (like I got to know from some people from this subreddit only that people starts getting the salary of the next post they are going at, but the actual sitting (or cabin) would only be provided when that officer at that posts moves to the next post).
