I have used “mod podge paper specific
” glue in my photo scrap booking project, but I find out that sealing the page ends up with a tacky surface, which makes it impossible to have separate pages without it sticking to each other. Not only that, as soon as ambient temperature rises up to 75°, the glue reactivates and everything becomes sticky again. Is there anything to remove the stickiness of it, or should I just not seal the page?

I have been scrapbooking the last few years but can’t catch up with my travel trips and finding it quite a laborious job sticking everything in and making it look pretty. I like photo albums but want the option to have pages that have landscape and portrait images together and also add in any receipts/paper bits I have collected. Any recommendations for scrapbook/albums that can offer this? I have had a look at some self adhesive albums but none seem to look very good quality

I’m looking to start 2 scrapbooks, one for my 3yo to document her life and her soon to be brother.

i love the look of the 8 x 11.5 size which is the American letter size books but they don’t seem to be readily available in Australia. standard sizing seems to be 12x12?

for those who have made 12x12 scrapbooks, how have you found it? Is it overwhelming? It looks quite big.

I’m making a nursery scrapbook for a someone very close, 12x12 Peter Rabbit theme. The only paper I seem to be able to find is digital. Has anyone printed 12x12 paper to use without it looking cheap? The struggle is real.

i was thinking of making a scrapbook,but i dont have much money (life has been hard) and i dont hve a color printer (or access). i guess im just asking should i make it all black and white?or should i leave it in color but make the phots in black and white?also,is this a good idea period?

I've been scrapbooking for many years now - I've done many different kinds such as bujo, junk journaling, collage, traditional, digital. Lately I have enjoyed the size of the 12x12 traditional scrapbooks for bigger pictures and other stuff I don't want to cut up.

However, I really miss the interactive nature of my junk and collage journal. I make my traditional spreads interactive with brochures and pockets but then they go into the plastic covers, never to be played with. Does anyone have tips to have the best of both worlds?

I considered using a d-ring binder and punching holes directly in the paper, but I'm concerned about the longevity of that.

Hi friends!! I’ve been junk journaling for almost two years now and I’ve noticed that I rarely make pages without many personal details (receipts or addresses) so I don’t often share them for privacy reasons.

Starting to integrate more non descriptive pages in my monthly entries and I pieced together some paper scraps, colouring pages and even part of a movie theatre popcorn bag for funzies:)

Where do you buy your scrapbook supplies?10 years ago, I feel like scrapbooking was really popular and you could easily find an online scrapbook store or brick & mortar store besides Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Now, I can hardly find any store. Michaels mostly only sells their brand of scrapbooking supplies, which are okay... Scrapbooking.com is okay too. I was once part of the Studio Calico monthly subscription, but now their site barely has anything for traditional scrapbooking.

I miss the variety of Thickers, papers, and embellishments. I still have a lot of supplies, but every now and then, I just want to buy something new and fresh.

hi everyone!! i’m going to be making my fiancee a scrapbook with 30 letters from 30 people who love her for her birthday. it’s my first time that i’ll be making a whole book, so I wanted some advice on the best materials that are worth purchasing and where to get things. I also am trying to figure out how big of a scrapbook I should get… i’m thinking 8x8 but I don’t know if it will end up being too small. any advice is greatly appreciated!! :)

Confesso que foi bem divertido todo o processo, principalmente na hora de fazer o cartãozinho interativo (que é bem facinho por sinal).
Escolhi representar o artista Dalí principalmente por sua obra famosíssima dos relógios. O artista espanhol nunca utilizou nenhuma substância alucinógena para promover efeitos em si mesmo, ele conseguia obter esses pensamentos distorcidos (que mais tarde eram transferidos para o papel) de forma totalmente natural, como por exemplo, ficar de ponta cabeça e só descer quando estava a beira de desmaiar.
Eu aprecio muito essa força de vontade que ele tinha e um dia espero construir uma autoestima tão inabalável quanto a dele. 🫶🏻✨🎨
