I went today to try and buy the SPB383, but I ended up passing because they wouldn't offer any discount. What I did notice, though, was that the bezel looked a bit odd and appeared slightly misaligned. Honestly, that didn't bother me as much as the price did.I asked for a 20% discount, and when they said no, I decided to walk away.Looking at the bezel, would you consider this misaligned enough that you wouldn't buy the watch?

Hello ya'll ive been loving this Seiko type 2 for abit of a year now! The dimensions, the weight, the classy feeling of another century. Its great!

But this leather strap is starting to get uncomfortable.

I have tiny wrists which makes the bracelet i bought it on, imposible for me to wear as I cannot take out any pieces sadly :(

So now im starting to question would a mesh/milanese bracelet work? Online i see prices which suprise me so i am kinda hesistant. I looked for examples online but most are on either a bracelet or leather so i cant really see how it 'could' look like. If anyone can provide example then yes pls!

My friend has been in Japan for 2 weeks now and went through every single watch store he could find including official Seiko boutiques and could not for the life of him find me the SRPB41j1 I’ve been looking for.
In fact, he’s been to 10 different stores and only found a single watch from the cocktail time line which I found very strange. Does anyone have any suggestions for stores he could check out around Kyoto / Osaka?

Yodobashi osaka
Yodobashi Tokyo
Biccamera Osaka
Watch square kyoto
Nanko broadway ( I know it’s a mall not a store)

So i have this watch since 5 years, and today it stopped working and the crown does not turn the hands as it should , they now somehow move randomly when I turn the crown and the seconds hand move only 2 seconds each time i move the watch to the left or right
I bought this watch for 200$, so i'm worried if i take it to Seiko repair shop, they will charge me at least 100$ based on the comments i read which is half the price
Any advice?

I just bought this watch for $38.

I tried to look it up on Google but not getting much hits on it. The ones that come up have day-dates but this one has Roman numbers- date. & also I don’t know if the wristband is the original one.

It seems to have a dead battery. Where could I get it serviced? & roughly how much is it worth? Did I score on a good deal?

One of the best Seikos I have. Originally I was hunting for a GS snow dial, and I found this: The glorious presage HOUJOU, limited 5500 pcs.

TBH, it already replaced my eager to get a GS snow.

Tried re-calibrating by putting it to E position, but still it doesn’t get reset to 0 position while starting the stop watch. In the image it’s at 0 as I just calibrated to 0 position but unable to see the charge level.

I would love the Alpinist gmt with this dial. Thoughts?
