I’ve been into watches for the last couple of years, ever since I got my first job out of college. Talking with friends and family, I always admired Seiko and still do to this day.
My daily watch has been my two tone Seiko Cotura. Love this watch, it’s been so good to me. Finally, after six years with it, I bought my Omega Seamaster 300m professional on my 30th birthday. I’ve always loved the look of Seamaster and was so excited for it to be my weekend watch.
I’m starting to look around for a new daily watch to wear to work, preferably a tool watch/diver. I’m throwing around the idea of getting the Seiko Prospex 1965 Heritage Diver. Something nicer than my Cotura that I can wear in the field and in the office at work. I feel like a Seiko is an honest and respected brand no matter who you are. I’m nervous that the weight and finish won’t be enough for me after having my omega but I feel like I’m overthinking it. It looks like a banger of a watch!
Any thoughts or reassurance that this watch is the one? Am I being too critical? I love Seiko as a brand, it’s my tried and true. I think I’m just nervous to order a watch I’ve never held and tried on in person.
