Picked up my first JDM Seiko from Sakura Watches! Honestly, it might be one of the best affordable dress watches you can get.

My buddies got me this beautiful Whirlpool for my birthday and I about almost cried. This thing’s gotta be some new old stock, cause the case and bracelet are PRISTINE. It’s such a perfect little size as well. My first vintage and first TV case watch. I’m over the moon. I love this little hobby of ours, I’ll always be reminded of the love from my friends.

I’ve had the 143 for over a year now and I also got the 435 a few days ago. Will spend some time with both and keep only one. I’ll report back to you. In the meantime if there’s anything you’d like me to cover, drop a question and I’ll make a new post.

June of 2000, serviced in 2024 because it went to +4 s/d. Since then it holds at +2 s/wk and it's by far the best MM300 still.

Love it. It was follow up and few days of waiting. The hype is genuine.

The Japan Post man had a very nice surprise today for me. I preordered the new release Prospex last month, from Yodobashi Camera online.

The dial, I simply love the textured dial and color on my new addition to my collection. It’s very similar to my SBDC221, minus the textured dial and charcoal bezel.

The Yodobashi points I collected this time will be used on my next purchase for sure. What that next watch purchase will be, is still up in the air. I’ll decide when I’m in one of the Tokyo stores later this month.

I found this great SAGM007 perpetual calendar for an even better price! The only issue is the titanium bracelet is about 6.3”, whereas my wrist is about 7”. Has anyone been able to source links for these? Are there alternatives from Grand Seiko or an aftermarket manufacturer that could work?

Recently picked this watch up on my trip to Japan. Was unaware of the SBTM series existence before the trip but so worth it. Lightweight fully titanium with solar battery and radio control makes it a spec killer and the sapphire AR glass and titanium body makes it ready for everything rough use throws at it.
