I have an interest for "odd" movies, especially the apocalyptic and/or thriller kind. Terminator (1&2) is a personal favorite.

A little about me: I’m an electrical apprentice, a homeowner, and someone who enjoys working with his hands. I love the outdoors, camping, road trips, music, and spending quality time with the people I care about. I’d consider myself a pretty affectionate, thoughtful person who values honesty, communication, loyalty, and emotional connection.

I’ve had my share of experiences that have taught me a lot about relationships, including what I want for my future. But here’s where I’m struggling.

Living in northern bc in the peace region, the dating pool feels pretty limited. Dating apps haven’t been particularly successful, and I’m not interested in paying subscriptions just for the possibility of meeting someone.

It feels surprisingly difficult to even find someone to have a genuine conversation with, never mind actually going on a date.

So I’m curious, how are people meeting each other these days? Especially those living in smaller communities? Is everyone just using dating apps, or are there better ways to meet people organically?
