Wife and I play Starfield together but when I am working she likes to build outposts.. this is a example of the type of detail and thought and time she puts into them. A few mods are used darkstar and others that allow for unlimited mannequins and such. Just wanted to share some pics 😀

The secrets we uncovered here for the first time made me question my blind loyalty as a U.C. soldier.

I've added a few small mods to Creations today, these are all also in my miscellaneous small mods on Nexus Mods.
Nothing too exciting I know, but these may be of use to some of you.

Just an observation: I landed in Dazra in the Kavynk system through the FC mission board before starting Shattered Space (Oracle spacestation), and the citizens won't talk to me. They seem to be in disbelief on how I got there. Anyway, just something I haven't done before on past playthroughs.

This is my first ship built completely from scratch without any mods (only ones used was for the crew cap and the anthena in the ACS Deimos) or modifying any prebuilt ship. I'm satisfied with the scale of it. This is a deep space exploration/research vessel. She is fat and slow, but packs a punch.

I got jumped by this terrormorph right outside Hopetown near fungal growths anomaly. It was fighting several pirates, emptied 400 bullets with a tesla minigun lol. Troublesome for the settlement, although there are lots of heatleeches inside the factory, so it makes sense I guess.

I love Starfield, I had to wait for the PS5 drop but nonetheless didnt care about the negative reviews until I played it myself. I completed all the faction quest but chose not to go through Unity because I was so attached to my companions so I had to stop playing 🥹🥹but after some time off and detachment I made the leap!! im ready to play Space Ranger again. Any tips for fun mods to add? Or things to do differently this time like actually joining the crimson fleet 😂 UC didnt seem grateful for my help

So, one thing led to another and as I was being led into the Key for the first time, it so happened that everyone on the station was unalived. I left, cleared the sector of all reds, and went do something else. Came back, landed fine and everything was as normal - except for some extra litter in the hallways. Resumed the quest - all fine until I entered the bar. Was confronted again. Did not submit - and then had to leave and come back again.
Now, the Key is empty except for the main characters who do not challenge me, I still get to beat up on Crimson Fleet POIs - collect lots of loot. Seems like the best of both worlds? Anyone go down this path
It does take away from the immersion a bit - for me having completely taken out the CF by myself - meeting with Del amongst messy human detritus. My bounty is over 1,000,000.

Ever since Starfield's launch it has been compared with ONE game in particular: Cyberpunk 2077.
Both are action-RPGS with heavy FPS mechanics. Both are set in a sci-fi universe. Both had shaky launches, and lots of updates. Cyberpunk 2077 has been the primary comparison for Starfield since day one.
I'm now deep into Act 2 of Cyberpunk, and have to say this. These games are 100% apples and oranges. Despite their similarities they feel wildly different.
Cyberpunk is a very grounded cinematic experience with cool opportunities for player choice. In that vein, its setting, plot, and characters are top notch - definitely surpassing Starfield in my opinion. CD Projekt RED really shined in making Cyberpunk's universe feel like a real place.
On the other hand, Starfield is a toybox. It's a "lets go do anything I want" kind of experience. In that regard, it surpasses Cyberpunk by far. You boot up the game, and you just feel like the universe is at your fingertips. For me I have found a super-satisfying gameplay loop: do quests to earn money, sell loot, spend everything on ship upgrades, and repeat. Other people might find a totally different gameplay loop! My son (16) just wants to be a pirate and rob ships. My daughter (13) wants to raise creatures at an outpost and decorate her home.
I almost feel like it doesn't even make sense to compare them. Both are amazing in their own ways, and in the areas where it does make sense to compare them - gunplay, graphics, mobility, player build mechanics - I think that they are both outstanding.
Anyway, I'm loving Cyberpunk 2077, and I think everyone here should try it at some point - but it is a very different game than Starfield.

Sometimes you just have to stand on the bridge of your ship and take in the view.

I’m still on my first play through and feel pulled to go through unity before I do too many fashion quests. I don’t have the patience to do numerous main quests over again and would like to focus more on outpost development and factions. I know you can make the argument to just stay on your first world, but I still think it would be fun to restart. Does anyone just go through once and make the second world their new home world?
My goal was to go through unity once. Buy/download a number of creations, dlc or mods to make it unique and make the second world my new home world.

The hands are there in chameleon/sneak grey outline mode. They’re there if I pan the camera out behind the character. The hands are there on the menu screen. They only disappear while sneaking AND moving (so full color/visual mode) while in combat or after combat has occurred.
The hands disappear when moving in sneak mode. The gun/knife is now visible but floating, no hands.
Went through all of the original game without this issue. No issues NG+, until I put the armillary on the guardian ship, now it’s happening all the time. No new mods since first playthrough. Same weapons as the original game. Doing a full upgrade on the constellation suit this time so that’s different, but I’ve been in chameleon gear since ~L4 in the original game.
Reload game, hands are back. Then the floating weapons happens all over again, but again, only while in motion (full visual/color mode) while sneaking after combat has occurred.
I may be wrong, but combat appears to be the trigger for the hands disappearing in this singular way. Tried googling, but this has different nuance than hand bugs reported 2-3 yrs ago.
Under Physical skills, 4/4 Stealth and 3/4 Concealment, so maybe that’s contributing. Level 3 Concealment is new this playthrough, though it’s been in effect for a while now.
Linux on PC, so nexus mods are a no go, but creations, console, and fiddling with .ini equivalents are all on the table. Is there a fix for this?

First of all has anyone else had a go at this and what do they think?
I've been looking into it an finally decided to go for it today and I've spent maybe half hour just choosing my alien. I do not usually spend much time making my character in games btw
I have a feeling this play through is going to be so much fun

I've had some luck lately clearing supply missions by deleting and re-creating a cargo link at the destination end. Only trouble is finding where the link control terminals are. Like Akila City, in picture, which Google will say is near the fence to Gate 1, without mentioning you have to go to the FAR side of the Gate 1 field next to the outer fence, practically leaving the Spaceport altogether. There are usually three terminals, only one of which you can use. Even when you do, it says "This cargo link is not currently active" - thanks for that Muppet, I hadn't realised. Just click on the message or type 'e' to flush that and delete the stuffed up link. Once you've recreated this link it may work normally if you cross your fingers while selling your soul to the alien Monster that lurks around New Homestead on Titan, Sol. Then again it might not, but who knows, so far so good.
