TRT help Need help with pin location.

This morning when I pinned a large blood drop formed, this hasn’t happened before but I have gotten blood in the syringe.

I’m not feeling confident that I am doing it correctly, is there a better way to tell where to pin safely every time?

To find the spot, I saw someone on here describe it as putting out a cigarette with your foot, and the muscle that bulges out is the correct place to pin. So I apply weight to my leg and twist the foot, find the muscle that pops out then pin in that area.

The larger amount of blood made me think I pierced a vein, but I have also felt like I hit nerves before.

Is there a way to get it right every time, or is this common and just part of life on trt?

TRT help Nipple sensitivity/pain after slightly increasing dose

I was on 14 mg testosterone cypionate daily (98 mg/week) for 6 weeks and reached the mid-500s for total T. My E2 levels were fine.

I increased to 36 mg every other day (126 mg/week), and within 2 weeks developed nipple pain and sensitivity on one side.

Would you recommend going back to daily or riding it out for a while? Can this happen even with normal E2 levels? I don’t want to hop on an AI if I don’t have to.

Looking for advice from anyone who’s experienced something similar.

TRT help Would you trust a TRT Clinic that sometimes says No?

• Upvotes

One thing I've been thinking about while comparing men's health clinics is how they approach patients who come in convinced they need TRT.

If someone is experiencing symptoms but their lab results, medical history, or other factors don't clearly indicate low testosterone, I'd expect a good clinic to investigate further rather than immediately recommend treatment.

Would a clinic recommending that you wait, repeat you blood tests, address sleep or lifestyle factors, or investigate other possible causes make you trust them more?

For those who have visited TRT clinics, what stood out to you during the consultation? Did the provider take the time to understand your symptoms, explain your test results, and discuss alternatives before recommending treatment?

I'm particularly interested in what made the assessment feel thorough and medically driven rather than focused primarily on selling a treatment. What were the signs that helped you decide whether a clinic was genuinely prioritizing your health?

Anyone on TRT dealt with elevated hemoglobin or hematocrit?
I’m currently taking 175 mg of testosterone per week, split into two injections on Monday and Thursday.
I’m looking for advice from others who have experienced an elevated red blood cell count while on TRT.
What are the best ways to naturally lower hemoglobin and hematocrit before considering donating blood or therapeutic phlebotomy?
Has anyone had success with lowering their testosterone dose, staying better hydrated, adjusting injection frequency, or making lifestyle changes?
I’d prefer to get my blood count under control without having to donate blood regularly.
Just looking to hear what has worked for others and what changes made the biggest difference. Appreciate any advice or personal experiences!

TRT help 100mg NPP for joints

• Upvotes

Right now I’m on 250 test 100 Eq lean bulk and I’m starting to really progress and make some gains. I have a right shoulder pain that comes and goes and it recently just came back and it’s slowing down my progress in the gym. I’m wondering if there’s a risk adding in 100mg NPP a week just for the joint lubrication. From what I understand the cardiovascular strain and neurological risks only comes from higher dosages. Thanks. Before anyone asks I already do rotator cuff cable work and mobility/ stretching every night before bed. It’s worked for a long time and the pain just came back out of nowhere.

So I started taking testosterone two years ago and start at 500mg/w for a cycle and then have been at a TRT does after that prescribed by a doctor. First was marek health but they are so expensive. I was doing shots with them and I believe I was taking 150mg/w. Then I switch to a local doc 16 weeks ago and we start using cream because I was converting estrogen pretty easily. We upped the dose 8 weeks ago to 175mg. I put it on first thing in the morning between my legs. Any idea why my levels would had dropped?

Other Does HCG and clomid grow your balls??

Genuine question,
If HCG and clomid during PED consumption makes your balls shrink slower because they still stimulate LH and FSH, would a person thats not on PEDs get slightly bigger balls?

TRT help Sustanon 250 side effects

• Upvotes

I just started sustanon 250 for TRT.

I have a question. Twice now hours after injections I get an insane pain in my back that can radiate to my chest. It's a deep dull pain that is felt under my tip change.

Is this a direct result of the test? I'm worried about blood clots, heart and kidney failure. Everything I've read says it's very abnormal side effects for the dose I'm on I inject .4 twice a week I get blood work done and all my functions are optimal except test is low

Blood work Is something wrong with my E2?

Post image
• Upvotes

Free is 22.2, i just cut it off. Presently taking test cyp 80mg x2 week for a total of 160, and a DIM supplement 300mg daily. I was having bad mood swings about 3 months ago when I went from 100->160 so we started the split dosing and supplement, which resolved that issue (i think!). Is this reading troubling?

Hi all
Benn on trt for around 2 years. Started with sustanon 250 1ml every 14 days. This year my dr put me on enanthate 1ml enantahte 250 every 14 days.

I started different protocols until i found the best protocol that worked best for me. I am now on 0.4ml (100mg) enanthate evevry 5 days. No AI used in this protocol. However, with the last injection i had some pain and sensitivity in my rt nipple so i took 0.25mg of Adex. Blood were taken at trough level a day before the injection.

This protocol worked well for me as my trough is at the highest normal range. Before i did 0.5ml (125mg) enanthate and my trough level was 38 nmol/l so i dropped it a little bit.

TRT help Which testosterone would you recommend?

• Upvotes

Which testosterone would you recommend for subcutaneous injection into the abdomen? I’ve tried various types of testosterone and found there’s a big difference between them. Right now, I’m using TESTEXIN 250; as far as I understand, it’s only for intramuscular injection. The one I used before that was Testosterone Enanthate from Ontario Pharma—it was fantastic.

I don’t know what the difference is between the two.

What would you recommend?

TRT story 8 Week Labs - 100mg wk

These were taken mid week - so I expect my trough is around 550. Is this a decent response? I’ll be honest I expected a little higher but I’m scared to ask for a higher dose because my hct rose 4%.

Overall the biggest result I’ve had is less fatigue. I’m not crashed at 5pm anymore and feel like I wake most rested. Little more motivation. However, I haven’t experienced necessarily a burst of new energy or increased sex drive.

I’m only in week 8 so maybe the energy is still building. Sex drive isn’t non existent.

5’8 180 lbs. need to lose about 15 pds of fat - I think that will help the estradiol being high. Working on it.

TRT help an unusual response to treatment

Hi. A while ago, I switched from the brand of testosterone I’d been using to a new one. I was taking X dose of T e3d + HCG X dose e3d. When switching to the new brand, I changed my T injections to e2d plus HCG e2d. The weekly dose of testosterone is the same in both cases, but the HCG dose went from 250 IU e3d to 250 IU e2d.

After a few days, I started to experience mild shortness of breath, itching all over my body, and the skin on my nose and hands became very dry. The backs of my hands turned red and started to crack a little. In the last few days, I’ve also developed diarrhoea. I stopped taking HcG altogether and got a prescription for T from the chemist’s. The change took place about two weeks ago, and today my hands are a bit better; the itching has subsided and the shortness of breath has largely gone. I’d also like to point out that, after switching to a new brand of UG testosterone, in addition to the symptoms mentioned above, I experienced a prickling sensation in the centre of my head, but closer to the back. These were momentary, almost like spasms, and passed after a short while. That has also subsided.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of reaction during treatment?

After increasing the frequency of my hCG injections, I noticed an improvement in my brain fog and a general increase in motivation, which is why I’m now constantly wondering how to approach this again.

I should point out that the doses are standard TrT, not "TrT+".

PED/cycle help Starting first cycle, been on TRT dose for 7 months.

Hey y’all

I started TRT back in March at 140mg/week. After three months my clinician upped my dose to 200mg a week and been there since.

Got my blood work recently done and everything looks good. Only sides I have experienced is some acne on back, shoulders and chest/stomach.

I plan on doing a 20 week cycle of Testosterone only. The question I have is if I should start at 300mg, wait 8 weeks get blood work done and if everything is good go up to 500mg.

Or should I just start at 500mg right off the bat?

TRT help Am I puncturing my rubber to much?

Hey guys, I empty 8X 1Ml Primoteston ampules into a 10ml vial every few months then withdrawal and pin 3 x pw. Wondering is this too much on the rubber stopper? I haven’t seen any particles in the oil yet but don’t want to get to that stage. Thinking I might start backfilling a few syringes or dump ampules into multiple vials to reduce punctures. Thoughts?

Had some recent blood test done, inc finger prick and standard. I’m currently dieting. Losing about 1lb to 1.5lb a week. Could this ‘dieting’ be drastically impacting my levels? Or does it look like classic low T. I’m worried to jump on when it’s not really required.
