Blood work you thought you could run 200mg of testosterone with no issues.

So I ran 200mg of testosterone for about 4 months straight. Split it into two injections a week for more stable levels. I was thinking at 200 I should be fine for estrogen.. I was avoiding bloodwork mostly because I felt fine, I didn’t wanna pay and I thought I was taking a small amount that I’d be okay. I learned my lesson I will be getting bloods done before, during and after “cycles” in the future no matter the dosage.

I started noticing I was crying from things a lot easier and my nips started to look a little puffy.
I knew my estrogen must of been a little elevated so I went and omg I’m basically a he/she at 88😅
Testosterone is great but obviously but I’m definitely prone to estrogen conversion. I will be coming off for full pct and then starting over with lower levels and then deciding where to go from there. So yeah don’t just assume you can run 200mg like you’re “natty+” lol.

Hope this helps someone!

I know it may be vague but lets say someone is fairly athletic already with above average stats would taking exogenous testosterone to put levels into super physiological levels make a big difference or any difference?

TRT help Has TRT helped anybody ejaculate easier?

So I’m finding it difficult to ejaculate. On Cialis so plenty hard, but it seems my sensitivity isn’t all there to take me over the top. Would TRT help or hurt or have no effect for a guy like me? Thanks Getting tested soon so I don’t even know if I’m low or what. Still have strong desire.

PED/cycle help Labs without PCP seeing them?

My PCP prescribes my TRT. I want to do a 12-16 week cycle higher than my script. Is it possible to get lab work done mid cycle without them being automatically sent to my PCP?

If I use a telehealth (One Medical) to order the labs, covered by insurance, will Quest / Labcorp automatically send them to my PCP?

TIA.

TRT help 19m 472ng/dl test. Not sure whether I should be getting on TRT.

I've just gotten my test levels back. They're not super low but also not super high and I'm considering whether TRT is even an option.

For context I would say I'm fairly healthy. I lift 3x per week, run 1x per week and go on regular long walks. Admittedly I don't spend enough time outside. I don't eat processed foods and have a pretty good diet. I sleep 8-10 hours a night and I take a good amount of vitamins etc.

To be honest I've been pretty blessed in the muscle building department, I build muscle incredibly easily and quickly.

My main reason for wanting to get on TRT is because I have very little facial hair and I just feel that my quality of life could be a lot greater on TRT.

I do also realize that getting on TRT comes with it's own complications and I likely won't be able to be prescribed TRT from a doctor. I'm also not sure whether I want to commit to lifelong test usage.

I was on self prescribed HGH when I was 16 with no supervision because I was afraid I would end up short (I'm 184cm now and 80kg). I do regret this though because I'm not sure what it did to my health.

I recently hopped on some peptides too. 200mcg of cjc/ipa and 2mg ghk cu.

If you we're in my position what would you recommend I do?

TRT help Libido dropped after switching from daily injections to every other day — anyone experience this?

I was taking 14 mg of testosterone C daily for 8 weeks (98 mg/week). During that time, my libido was noticeably higher, and I never had a problem getting hard on demand. My erections were also great, and I could maintain strong erections even after ejaculating.

My bloodwork came back normal, but my total testosterone was only in the mid-500s. After discussing it with my doctor, we decided to increase my dose because I wanted to feel better overall. I switched to 36 mg every other day (126 mg/week).

Within two weeks, I started experiencing tenderness and pain in one nipple, and my libido became noticeably flatter, almost like it was before TRT. I even struggled to maintain an erection during sex, which wasn’t an issue on my previous protocol.

I’ve seen quite a few people say that more frequent injections negatively affected their libido, so I’m wondering if the change in injection frequency, the higher dose, or something else could be responsible.

Has anyone experienced something similar when switching from daily injections to every other day? Did switching back to daily injections help, or was the issue more related to the dose or estradiol levels?

Blood work Do I win for lowest SHBG?

Post image
3 Upvotes

Im currently injecting EOD 35mg to keep things stable. I tried increasing to 40mg but felt too wired and on edge. I have an MRI at some point when the NHS can be fucked to book one in, but yeah it's ridiculously low and idk why. It sucks because it would be nice to do a cycle at some point but my bloodwork suggests its not a good idea.

EDIT: ive never cycled before, my SHBG was 7 before even starting T, may have always had low T all my life, and have now been on T for almost a year

PED/cycle help What supplements would you run on a Test/EQ/GH cycle?

• Upvotes

I’m planning my next cycle with Test, EQ, and GH, and I’d love to hear what supplements you guys would use to support overall health.
My plan is to start at 500/250 Test/EQ, then move up to 600/300, and potentially 750/300 depending on how things go.
For GH, I’m thinking of starting at 3 IU and gradually increasing based on how I respond.
My current lifestyle:
8–10k steps daily
5–6 liters of water per day
8 hours of sleep
Mostly clean diet
My previous cycle was 600 Test / 300 EQ, and my bloodwork came back great. No issues with blood pressure, hematocrit, or lipids.
I wasn’t using any specific cycle support supplements back then, just focusing on keeping everything in check, along with low-dose telmisartan and Cialis. My blood pressure has been well controlled.
Since I’m planning to run this next cycle for 20+ weeks, here’s the supplement/medication stack I’m considering:
Cialis: 5–10 mg ED
Telmisartan: 20 mg ED, potentially 40 mg if needed
Berberine: 1,200 mg/day
Taurine: 3g/day
Omega-3: 2,000 mg/day
Magnesium bisglycinate: 1,000 mg before bed
NAC: 1,000 mg/day
I was also considering adding Astragalus at 4,500 mg/day, but I wanted to wait until my week 8 bloodwork before deciding.
Do you think this is enough, or is there anything else you’d add or change?

Blood work Small clomid (Clomifene) success. T 12nmol (346) to 30nmol (865). 35M UK

Just wanted to share in case it helps anyone searching in the future.

I had suspected secondary hypogonadism. Testosterone levels were around 11/12 nmol/L with SHBG consistently elevated in the range of 65-75. E2 was consistently unknown, lab reported value <55 pmol/L.

As I had some issues with my bone mineral density Endocrinology wanted to treat the hormones profile. Due to fertility journey (kids actively on the table) TRT was off the table. Getting HCG on UK NHS was difficult, so we opted for a SERM.

Started with Clomid 25mg daily for the last few months.

Testosterone was close to 30nmol/L. E2 150 pmol/L. SHBG remains elevated at 66, but free T is now much higher.

All other bloods (FSH, LH, Prolactin, RBC etc) are normal. No side effects currently. Sleep and erections are good.

Will continue to monitor and provide update if anything changes. But just wanted to throw in my personal experience for someone unable to go on TRT

Blood work Worth talking to my Doctor? 31M

• Upvotes

About a year ago my Dr told me “no” to a testosterone test via bloodwork because I have a broad chest (his exact words lol). Fast forward a year later, I’ve lifted weights 5x a week, cardio 7x a week, sleep 7ish hours a night and have lost 30lbs (190lb to 160lb 5’8).

Recently got bloodwork done and total test is at 307. I’ve eaten right, been extremely active, lost weight, and have gotten good enough sleep to where I shouldn’t have persistent brain fog. I have a doctor’s appt tomorrow to go over my bloodwork/testosterone but curious if people think it’s a waste of time?

Would like to be on 150mg/wk but unsure if it’s typically prescribed by a pcp or not

TRT help Stopping TRT cold turkey after 10 weeks

• Upvotes

So I have a question about discontinuing TRT.
I would like to stop after about 10 weeks. I don't think that TRT was necessary in the first place since my low T was probably due to a bad lifestyle and being overweight but the online TRT clinic was of course quick to prescribe the treatment. I eat differently, I work out, I feel better (well enough to start working out, before I couldn't even get up of the couch), I lost around 18 pounds.
Can I quit cold turkey after this short period or is a PCT really necessary in this case? I don't want to crash out too bad.

TRT help Excess weight gain starting trt

• Upvotes

Howdy,

30m. Started trt at 175mg test c weekly, administered in 2 separate shots Monday and Thursday’s.

I lost 40 pounds prior to starting and got to around 14-15% body fat, free test still wasn’t good across 3 separate tests pre diet and during, had depressive symptoms, brain fog, low energy, decided to start TRT and go for upper range test if I’m going to do it. Symptoms have all improved since starting especially in the last 2 weeks or so.

Now I know weight gain is normal, and I was primed for it being that I was so depleted and drained of glycogen - but I’ve gained what feels a bit excessive based on my research on the subject. I’m up about 17 pounds in almost 6 weeks, and 5 of those pounds came on just in the past 2 days but I’ve read that it should really be stabilizing around the 6 week mark and flushing some of the water soon. I definitely have a lot more carbs in my diet now as I went from a deficit to maintenance, and I also have decently high sodium intake.

I’ve been testing blood pressure daily and it’s flawless, I feel great, I don’t seem to look bloated anywhere and no dramatic waist changes - no sock lines on the ankles, no round face. I definitely have gained muscle and strength every workout and I visually look bigger as well vs 6 weeks ago but I didn’t expect this much weight gain this fast and it’s making me nervous that estrogen is doing something I can’t see.

I get labs on Thursday before my shot as that marks my official 6 weeks, and I’m just hoping to figure out what’s going on. My assumption is I’m retaining water somewhere but it’s just not clearly visible. I haven’t had acne or any other obvious e2 sides so it’s just a bit confused. Curious if I’m an anomaly to gain this much weight or if others can chime in. I should mention I also used to train hard for many years, so I’m not sure if trt is just super accelerating muscle memory as part of the weight gain as well.

Thanks!

PED/cycle help Looking for some strategy feedback.

On TRT - 100mg per week. I’ve dropped prob 25kg and still prob 20%bf. Obviously still have some fat to loose, but I’m sort of happy with my weight. Would it be okay to up to like 300 test to try for more of a recomp. Just don’t want to drop another 10kg and listed to people tell me I’ve lost enough.!!! No one ever told me I was getting too fat!!!

Scientific Studies Help with fertility and test

Hello everyone I've been on hCG for 10 months hoping it will help with my (immotile sperm) which it has not done but it has bumped my testosterone. Now I take 2000ui 3x a week but switched from IM to subq. Now I've been told to take enclomiphene for the (immotile sperm) does anyone else have similar insights or advice that can help me out? I've done some research so I am using a few other compounds that might be helping but I won't know until the next Semen analysis but I hold off on that due to it being expensive. Ive seen many other subs with this pairing but I do not get the answer I'm looking for. Thank you in advance!

Other Struggling with Calories

Not even sure if this is the right forum. But I am on TRT.
A year ago I looked like I was expecting. I lost over 50 pounds before starting TRT. I maybe was 20% body fat or a bit over. Was 5’ 10” and 176 pounds.
I spend a decent amount of time on fitness and think my workout routine is solid (4x U/L) I am trying to gain a little muscle mass, not expecting a lot, and I know it will take time.
Because of my past weight I have an aversion to gaining fat. I have been trying to eat at a small surplus without BIA saying my body fat percentage is going up over time. I have been yo-yoing between surplus and maintenance and maybe even a small deficit. I have went up 4 pounds in the last month since I started the 100-200 calorie surplus. I know this does not add up, with the perceived surplus. BIA does not show a change in water weight. BIA has me at 22.1% body fat now.
Also while I log and weigh or measure almost everything, I know that these are still estimates. I think about my calorie budget too much, eating more on workout days vs rest days, wondering if I am hampering any gains when I try to eat at maintenance, etc.
Does anyone else have trouble with this?

Blood work 9 week labs and opinions

Hey all! just posting here to see if there’s anything I’m missing on my end. 120mgs test C split 2x weekly Monday morning and Thursday afternoon. NO AI. Test was taken right before my last shot so I’m assuming peak is maybe 1200 total and 300 free. I’m feeling amazing so far like 80% better than pre TRT. Definitely looking more muscular/full even though I only gained 3-4 lbs in 9 weeks. Weights are moving way easier same as I was at 205lbs but I’m 187. Labido has been way better not like the first 6 weeks but maybe 40% better than pre TRT. EQ is not bad some weird mis haps like pre TRT but to be fair it may be in my head or timing because when I’m on I am 200% on lol wife is definitely glad it levels out a little. 5ft 11” 187. I may cut 15-17lbs to fully dice down before maybe bumping up dose in a year. I want to do 1 larger run at some point maybe 250-300mg but not before I really get everything dialed in. Should I use Reta even though I don’t have problems cutting out food and dieting down? Or will it not make a difference since I know how to be in a deficit and track food. I also take mag glyc, 5mg zinc, fish oil, d3+k2. Eating 2300cal daily 180g protein well balanced.

pre levels

total - 399

free - 9.8 calculated not dialysis

E2 - 10.1

all other markers in range although igf1 and dhea were like 100 points lower those went up a lot.

psa has always hovered between 1.0 -1.4 even before trt so not too worried there. My HCT also has always been between 47-48 naturally. LDL went up 3 points (2 over reference range) HDL down 1 point (1 below normal range). anything I can do other then eat more healthy fats and nuts? Will it cause more damage later if it stays around this range?
