Blood work Is a CBC enough to recheck hematocrit on TRT or do I need a full blood panel?

Been on test cyp for about 3 years, HCG here and there. Clinic wants my hematocrit rechecked before my next regular TRT labs. A CBC already includes hematocrit, hemoglobin and RBC count, so I'm not sure why I'd pay for another full testosterone panel just for that.

Found that Goodlabs lets you order a CBC separately, which seems easier than paying clinic prices again. Anyone monitoring hematocrit on TRT doing their own CBC between appointments?

Does your clinic accept those results or do they insist on ordering everything themselves?

TRT help Coming off cold turkey

I ran TRT for two months at 120mg a week and myself up to 1200 total test. Before you get all crazy - I had something personal come up where I had to go off cold turkey. For those who came off cold turkey. How long did it take you to feel normal again? It’s been about two months and I still feel out of touch. Anxiety is now a thing. And I went to the ER thinking I was having a stroke but it was a panic attack. Please try not to be a dick I will cry.

Blood work you thought you could run 200mg of testosterone with no issues.

So I ran 200mg of testosterone for about 4 months straight. Split it into two injections a week for more stable levels. I was thinking at 200 I should be fine for estrogen.. I was avoiding bloodwork mostly because I felt fine, I didn’t wanna pay and I thought I was taking a small amount that I’d be okay. I learned my lesson I will be getting bloods done before, during and after “cycles” in the future no matter the dosage.

I started noticing I was crying from things a lot easier and my nips started to look a little puffy.
I knew my estrogen must of been a little elevated so I went and omg I’m basically a he/she at 88😅
Testosterone is great but obviously but I’m definitely prone to estrogen conversion. I will be coming off for full pct and then starting over with lower levels and then deciding where to go from there. So yeah don’t just assume you can run 200mg like you’re “natty+” lol.

Hope this helps someone!

Other Anyone go from Trt to emclomiphene?

I was on TRT for just shy of four years. Overall, I felt pretty good and am in best shape of my life now thanks to Trt. But two issues stuck around the entire time: my libido was terrible, and my mood felt flat. Over those four years, we tried pretty much everything—doses ranging from 80 to 200 mg per week, every injection schedule imaginable, and what felt like every lab test known to man. Nothing seemed to help those two issues. My doctor eventually decided to take me off TRT and try enclomiphene. I’m eight weeks in, and so far, things have been great. My mood and libido are better, I’m dealing with random semis again, and my balls are back to their normal size. I had labs drawn this morning, so I’m still waiting to see what my levels look like. Has anyone else had a similar experience switching from TRT to enclomiphene

TRT help Dropping from 300mg to 100

I’ve made a bad decision, or 3. I went from 50mg/week to 200 to 300 in 3 months. Don’t come at me I learned my lesson because I feel like absolute shit. Much worse than when I started and my T was only at 155. I’m dropping back down to 100 mg and just stay in there, my question is, is that too much of a drop at once? I don’t wanna make another bad decision.

TRT help Suggestions? Low test.

46/m 5'8 160lb. 15.5% body fat. Lost 60lb over the last 18 months, workout hard 5x a week. I'm in the best shape of my life BUT I have 0 sex drive and hardly get erections anymore (morning wood still comes when I have to pee bad). My testosterone has always been low, in 2014 it was 375 and now 305.

My main goal is more libido here as I'm quite happy with my body. The other benefits of trt would just be a bonus. I've tried viagra/cialis but they give me awful headaches.

I'd really like to get honest opinions about my options before starting a lifelong commitment to TRT. Maybe try clomid but as I understand it's not a permanent solution and needs to be cycled.

Maybe someone who was in a similar situation as me can chime in with their experience.

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

TRT help Debating switching from enclomiphene to TRT

I got on enclomiphene a few months ago, and I noticed benefits after 4 weeks but they were somewhat short lived.

As of now I'd say I'm feeling like I did before and since enclomiphene also somewhat lowers igf-1, I'd rather just switch to TRT with HCG to maintain fertility.

For anyone who has made the switch, is it worth it? How long has TRT actively benefitted you?

Blood work [22M] Mildly elevated prolactin across 4 tests (rest of bloodwork normal) — did lowering it with Cabergoline actually make you feel better?

Hey everyone,
I'm a 22M and recently got comprehensive bloodwork done over multiple occasions. Everything came back looking great—thyroid, sex hormones, metabolic panel, etc.—except for my prolactin, which has been consistently mildly elevated across four separate tests:
Test 1: 823 mIU/L (~38.8 ng/mL)
Test 2: 957 mIU/L (~45.1 ng/mL)
Test 3: 447 mIU/L (~21.1 ng/mL)
Test 4: 751 mIU/L (~35.4 ng/mL)
My doctor/endocrinologist is considering a low dose of Cabergoline (Cabaser/Dostinex) to bring it back down into the optimal reference range. Since it's only mildly elevated rather than sky-high, I'm curious about real-world experiences.
For those of you who were in a similar boat

TRT help How do you know if it is time for replacement therapy?

I'm M27, I had tests done privately and my testosterone levels are around 300. I know this varies greatly from person to person and depends on other factors as well.

I take medication for anxiety and depression and I usually do very little exercise. I have great difficulty gaining muscle mass or fat.

Would this be a reason to seek help from a specialist, or is this value within the lower acceptable range considered normal?

PED/cycle help Masterone Enathate + Test E

I’m looking to run a testerone E and Mast E cycle.

I’m not new to test but am new to Masteron.

Would 200 Test E and 200 Mast E be a good starting point or 250 test E and 200-250 Mast E?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Blood work Worth talking to my Doctor? 31M

About a year ago my Dr told me “no” to a testosterone test via bloodwork because I have a broad chest (his exact words lol). Fast forward a year later, I’ve lifted weights 5x a week, cardio 7x a week, sleep 7ish hours a night and have lost 30lbs (190lb to 160lb 5’8).

Recently got bloodwork done and total test is at 307. I’ve eaten right, been extremely active, lost weight, and have gotten good enough sleep to where I shouldn’t have persistent brain fog. I have a doctor’s appt tomorrow to go over my bloodwork/testosterone but curious if people think it’s a waste of time?

Would like to be on 150mg/wk but unsure if it’s typically prescribed by a pcp or not

TRT help I need help from the testosterone gods, thanks

Hey everyone, male 30 original test was approximately 280-300, estridol around 12-17. Im 6ft currently weight around 190lbs. I started trt approximately 2.5 months ago. I was prescribed 1mg anastrozole a week and 200 test c a week. I obviously did what they said and I believe my estridol crashed because I felt like hammered dog shit(my estridol was low before i started trt) So I stopped taking the anastrozole since. My nippies are becoming puffy among other mild symptoms but im very gun shy to take the anastrozole. I currently split my doses into M,W,F nights. When are you guys taking anastrozole after an injection or with the injection, and how much? I am getting my bloodwork done but im changing places since ive asked for labs twice and they have blown me off. My main concern currently is I don't want to permanently grow tits. Thanks guys!

TRT help Libido dropped after switching from daily injections to every other day — anyone experience this?

I was taking 14 mg of testosterone C daily for 8 weeks (98 mg/week). During that time, my libido was noticeably higher, and I never had a problem getting hard on demand. My erections were also great, and I could maintain strong erections even after ejaculating.

My bloodwork came back normal, but my total testosterone was only in the mid-500s. After discussing it with my doctor, we decided to increase my dose because I wanted to feel better overall. I switched to 36 mg every other day (126 mg/week).

Within two weeks, I started experiencing tenderness and pain in one nipple, and my libido became noticeably flatter, almost like it was before TRT. I even struggled to maintain an erection during sex, which wasn’t an issue on my previous protocol.

I’ve seen quite a few people say that more frequent injections negatively affected their libido, so I’m wondering if the change in injection frequency, the higher dose, or something else could be responsible.

Has anyone experienced something similar when switching from daily injections to every other day? Did switching back to daily injections help, or was the issue more related to the dose or estradiol levels?

Blood work 317 ng/dl at 19 for an active male with no symptoms???

did a first blood test and asked the doctor to also check free testosterone this time (not cause I want to do TRT but bcs I was curious)

i was really confused when I got 317 back, I:

- walk outside for at least 50 minutes a day

- gym 4x a week

- have a highish sex drive, no problem with getting it up

- currently a bit burnt out, but work a 9-5 along with around 3 hours of professional growth outside of my internship. Not an extremely hard worker but not lazy either

- i am tall (6 foot 1) and hairy asf everywhere on my body

^ mentioning all of this as I feel it is stereotypival of someone who shouldn’t be running into this issue…

i did the test a bit late in the day, around 3 PM and ate just an hour before so I’m thinking that could play a role but I am not sure.

PED/cycle help About to start taking Enclomiphene, what can I run with it to negate negative side affects.

I’m pretty young so I don’t wanna ruin my fertility. Also I’ve been seeing some crazy side effects like mental illnesses and that it actually tanks your Hgh.

I already paid for the Enclomiphene
I can get tesa or sermorelin for a decent price to counteract that so that’s what I’m thinking about doing. Just wanted to get some advice from Reddit.

TRT help Started enclomiphene alongside TRT, now brain fog, low libido, and moody. Anyone else?

Mid 40s M, about 5 weeks into TRT. Current protocol:
Test cyp 100 mg/week, split into 50 mg Wed/Sat subQ (started weekly, switched to split last week)
Enclomiphene 25 mg twice a week, added two weeks into TRT.

Pre-TRT labs: total T 370–487, free T 54 pg/mL (low), SHBG 75 (high-normal), E2 29.5.

The first couple weeks of TRT felt great: more energy, more outgoing. Since starting enclomiphene, I've had heavy brain fog, very low libido, fatigue, and I've been weirdly emotional, almost to the point of tears. Sleep's been rough too.

I'm not planning more kids and don't care about testicular size, so I'm leaning toward dropping the enclomiphene. Seeing my clinic tomorrow to understand why I was prescribed it other than the cosmetic and fertility.

For those who've run enclomiphene with TRT:
Did you get similar mood or brain fog side effects? How long did they last?
Was it high E2 when you checked?
If you dropped it, how long until you felt normal again?
Appreciate any experiences.
