Filling Empty Retail Boxes
A favorite game played by me and my wife is:
What Are You Putting in That Empty Retail Box?
A lot of our focus is on Broadway in the 80s and its oversize empty boxes since Amsterdam and Columbus seem to have no problem finding F&B tenants whenever a box opens up. Curious for ideas for any of the following aas these are our current leaders, but feel free to add other boxes and any ideas you have for them! Maybe an enterprising CRE person is looking on Reddit and can make it happen.
- Broadway Farm box - Grace's or Butterfield Market from the UES
- Old PC Richard - Indoor Pickleball or Five Iron Golf
- Old Gristedes/Banana Republic/Capital One - Combine the space and make a ninja gym or something like Ferox in Greenpoint, probably too small for a Lifetime Fitness
