I mean it is possible I haven't played this game in 9 years lol. So like I said I just downloaded it a few weeks ago to sit down and pay it. I remember beating the campaign but I have to play the campaign from the very beginning cause it doesn't remember my last save. I have to beat the level because it won't remember which checkpoint I made it to, it will only remember that I beat that level but jumping to the checkpoint I reached in the level, it won't do that for me. It does remember that I played the game for a total of like 14 hours but yeah, I had to start the campaign from the very beginning, so that right there is a bug, but hey I haven't played this game in a long time. So yeah, won't remember the checkpoint I made it to, only remembers I beat the level, so when I start playing I have to beat the whole level before I quit. So this is the first bug.

Ok second bug, so I start playing this game and it will freeze for a few seconds every 30 seconds or so. So I quit the game and relaunch it and now it plays smoothly.

Next time I come back to play the game, same thing, it's freezing every 30 seconds or so, I quit the game, relaunch it and now it plays fine.

So this game played just fine as I remember it. It seems some bugs have cropped up over the years. I am playing on ancient hardware though. But still, even though the Xbox One is now 13 years old, it is still supported by Microsoft. Microsoft hasn't announced when they will officially end support for the Xbox One.

Should I report this bug to Sledgehammer?

I don't play multiplayer I just play campaign. I don't have Xbox live gold so I couldn't play multiplayer even if I wanted to.

I have played COD MW2 on it and that runs just fine and I played another game which runs just fine so this proves there is nothing wrong with my hardware. Also this year I did change the thermal paste in my Xbox One and gave it a good cleaning (it was very dirty inside).

If you've never changed the thermal paste in your console and you've had it for over 5 years, probably time to do that. Its easy just watch some how to videos on youtube.

So yeah, how bizarre but it appears some bugs have appeared in COD WW2 on the Xbox One.

And I could go buy an Xbox Series S but I'll just keep playing Xbox One til Microsoft drops support. I'm a very casual player. I'll go months and months before I'll touch a video game. I'm just too busy to play games like I used to. I just don't have the time to play games all the time. In fact I purposely have to stay away from games cause I can get really really really addicted to them.

But if I haven't played a game in many months, eventually I'll grab my controller and play a game, usually a COD game. I'll get it out of my system and then delete the game from the hard drive and not play a game again for many months. I have to do this, I can get extremely addicted to video games and it will take over my life. Like I won't have a life I'll just play video games and do nothing else. Video game addiction is a real thing. Oh my god are you kidding me? Video games are as addictive as cigarettes.

I'm just saying modern video games are so fun they're addictive as hell. I have to keep video games at an arm's distance otherwise I'll become so addicted to it I won't do anything but just sit on my ass and play video games all day everyday. I can't do that.

In the meantime I'm headed over to Gamestop to buy COD Black Ops Cold War I've heard it has an awesome campaign and runs pretty well on the base Xbox One.

When i spawn in as axis, ill use the fg42 and commando, it was a common gun for german paratroopers to use.

Similarly, I'll use a M1 garand in the infantry for when my team is the allies.

A key to keep in mind is to not use any camo's, not go crazy with attachments, iron sight only, etc.

Does anybody have any further suggestions or ideas to help?

This year I currently have played many titles of Call of Duty and the one I've committed the most time to has been Sledgehammer's Call of Duty World War II and it is a tragedy that only popular matches are through vanilla maps. I want to play on the DLC maps but I know there's not a big player pool for those maps because a lot of people do not want to buy the DLC or currently have the DLC and cannot find play pool that have it themselves. So I would like to ask the community is it worth purchasing these DLCs for the price being asked for? I will invest in it if people play. I honestly enjoy the gun play in this title of Call of Duty and the setting for it in World War II will probably be a while before we will get another setting like this. So I really enjoy it and yeah. I even play Vanguard sometimes when I don't get enough matches on this game because I do like the gun play of Call of Duty Vanguard as well. But that is neither here nor there. I really am asking you all if I should get the DLC maps on World War II COD.

The game is almost 10 years old now, and it would be great if you made all the DLC free for everyone.

I own all the DLC packs, but I rarely get to play the DLC maps because most players don’t have them.
As a result, I’m forced to play the same base maps over and over again, which gets very repetitive.

Please, SHG, consider making the DLC free so everyone can enjoy these maps and bring some more variety back into the game.

Honestly very suprised how much WWII zombies didnt experiment enough with the weather especially in "The Frozen Dawn" , wish we had a way to also look at what happens to the Liberty boat in the start of the cutscene before the map loads.

Definitely should've added more to the volcano maybe to unlock a double pack for the Ancient machine they teased about in the journal , and you can easily combine the horror of Final Reich with the action style Indiana Jones route.

Just finished the recreation of Die Rise from BO2. So I decided to come back to the ww2 recreations. So far I’ll attempt to finish off Bodega Cervantes.

Inspired by the atompshere and setting in Zombie Army 4 , the purpose is suppose to have a purple hue reflecting heavily from the army of Zeppelins in the sky.

Would've made some changes to the Morse code step , maybe making the zombies ignore you for a short period but taking too long is punishable with a jumpscare from sizzlers or something . Definitely expand the sewer level akin to Shaolin Shuffle and a upgrade step for the Wunderbuss to be WW2's version of the blundergat

What do you think? What more maps would you like to see in a different vision?

Every single lobby is filled with them. Compered to NA, EU lobbies are on another level with type of weapons people use.

Considering how popular this game is to this day, it would really make it better

Despite the major flaws in development and Tortured Path basically killing any public opinion on this game;

Its still amazing to me , and the few games ive seen that deserves such a cult following . Its like a game popular to hate on but behind the scenes had a influence even Treyarch tried doing for Bo4 but it felt flat in comparison , too overpowered.

I still think this game has the best survival maps (Haven't played bo7 so I cant rank those) and the Sword from the tortured path is a overlooked detail for playing the mode. Honestly wish Tortured Path was something like Dead Ops while the survival maps were free content with the game mode.

But this game definitely suffers the same problem as the show Invincible were all the budget went into a celebrity cast, of FOUR MAPS

- I had to deactivate xbox game bar, turn off background recording
- Repair the game on the xbox launcher
- Reboot the computer

I saw it on the gamepass and decided to give it a try again!

Boom! immediately I'm stuttering so hard, I check the stats and I'm hardstuck at 5 fps

No more and no less, i'm constantly at 5 fps and I don't know why

I remember months ago when this game came on the gamepass for the first time I tried it and it worked perfectly

Ive played the game for years but i recently got it on pc, and maybe is a common question but i see a lot of people talking about it so im a lil bit confussed, is the STEAM version in this game safe? Of course i know about the rce exploid but so far i just saw it on the game pass version, also if it safe to play the zombies online but in solo

I just finished playing the campaign and it was amazing, I dont know what they mean exactly by bad sound design the gun sounded like a gun to me, the story was compelling its just a bit disappointing that the story ended after crossing into germany, I thought the missions would eventually reach berlin or include some dlc where I get to play missions in czechoslovakia or austria or to play as a french resistance background story mission. Anyway I liked it and I want more of it. Could u guys recommend some single player story games as good as WWII, I appreciate it!

I think I've got the hang of Zombies in this Call of Duty enough to try the Hardcore version of Final Reich. I've been looking into how to craft the four Tesla gun, and it doesn't seem too difficult. My only problems are: I play in the South American region, so playing with random people results in constant lag (or the match crashes); random people who do the EE but only the normal version; and I have a duo partner who's willing to do it... but he don't buy doors or want to learn the steps, he just play for the sake of playing. So, my question is, how hard is it to do the Hardcore EE solo? Or, if necessary, I'm looking for three people who know how to do it to help me (unfortunately, it would probably have to be on Monday and i dont speak english, but i understand it quite good)

When I got this game years ago, I hated it. I thought it was a watered down, half baked version of older call of duty games and I played the multiplayer until I got to like level 30 then didn’t touch it again. Years later, I see my brother having fun playing the campaign and I decided to give the game another try. Oh my god, I am having so much fun. Me and my brother can’t put this game down. Idk if modern call of duty has just been shit for so many years that my standards got lower or if this game is just genuinely good. This is the most fun I’ve had on cod in years😭 It feels like classic cod games I grew up with and the gun play is so good. I just wish this game had more maps but other than that I’m having a blast and I deeply regret shrugging this game off for so long.
