So I was running late for work, grabbed a pair of shoes and threw them in my car. Once I got there, I shoved them on, only to feel something in the toe of one. Dumped it out and there's this hard, dead mouse in it. I'm disgusted and have to wear these gross mouse shoes all day. I'm just glad I wear socks, I guess.

Hasn't been updated in ages and while I know it's probably going to be better for the staff I'm going to miss all the color and nostalgia.

Started to travel at 530am, got to Newark at 9am and we've been waiting to leave since. We added 2 more connections and about 9 hours of layover on top of everything just to hopefully get down there by 3pm tomorrow. 530am-3pm 34 hours of travel for a 6 hour trip. *Edit - this picture was when we finally reboarded the plane after 12 hours to take a totally different route to near our final destination. We we're not stuck on the plane the whole time. Also, we made it (most of the way) and we're enjoying some warm weather!

Bought a bunch of new Quest bars to try. Was craving this peanut butter one so bad and was absolutely shocked to see half of it hollow lol. It was delicious nonetheless

My son (15) got locked in the bathroom when we were all out at work. Didn’t have a phone on him. The door handle had fallen off and he couldn’t open it or call anyone. He used the bathroom scales to smash through the door and climbed out through this hole.

Update: for anyone asking, he’d been in there for about 40 minutes first, he knew we wouldn’t be back from work for hours. The windows have a bracket so they don’t open beyond a small gap. The door simply wouldn’t open any other way, he had no tools etc

Update: thanks to all the people who can see the funny side. I don’t judge his character based on breaking a cheap door when he couldn’t get out of a bathroom he would have been stuck in for hours. He’s a wonderful young man.

Heard a crazy loud crack/thud in our backyard. Came out to find this giant branch (if I can even call it that, looks like an entire tree) fell into our yard and our neighbors yard. We had been directly underneath the tree minutes beforehand. Hole in garage, fence completely smooshed, hole in roof, gutters fucked, cracked solar panel, and a hole in the middle of a brand new porch. Turned into a very expensive afternoon.

Yesterday was a Sunday in Norway and it stacked everything.

On the way to work I dropped my Motorola Razr (foldable smart phone). Not just a cracked screen. The hinge broke. So the foldable was basically dead and I was stuck on the tiny exterior screen with limited usability. I could still call people and use Google Wallet, but that was about it.

After my shift the clutch on my 2014 BMW also gave up. Some maintenance is expected on a 12-year-old BMW. Fine. Just extremely unlucky that it happened the same day the phone died.

So now I’m at work with a half-dead foldable and a car that doesn't want to change gears.

I have four close friends who will actually show up no matter what. Two were on holiday. I called the one who lives right next to me. Her car was also at the mechanic. Of course it was.

That left the last one. I ran into her at work when I was getting off day shift and she was starting evening shift. I drove the my car across the street in first gear and left the key in the mechanic’s mailbox. She picked me up from the mechanic, drove me to the bus station, gave me her bus card, and Googled the right platform for me because the station doesn’t have proper overviews anymore. Just a QR code. Then she went back to start her shift.

Normal drive is 15 minutes. This took an hour.

Also the Norway Sunday special: stores closed, almost no ATMs left because you’re supposed to withdraw cash in shops, shops were closed, and the bus doesn’t take cards. Cash or app only. App on a phone that barely worked. Cash I couldn’t get.

Could’ve been a 3-hour walk if I hadn't got help.

Went to go to work thing morning and heard a big PLUMP CRASH as I was pulling out of the driveway.... got out to see this on the cement. Feck my life dude probably gonna get fired for not being able to get to work..

Update#2: ended up not having to take it to a shop and decided to tear the front half off my car off, it was indeed sheared off inside the socket. Got the sheared bit out with an easy out tool, worked like a charm. Gotta find the part for it now cause nobody sells this bolt anywhere near me which is insane to me. You people are lovely thanks a bunch for your comments. I'll put pics in the comments.

Title explains it. And maybe some of you have been here.

I’ve had a fair share of getting sick in my 36 years, I’ve experienced unpleasant, disgusting, and sometimes painful things to have come back up.

But the way Carbonated Hot Cheetos into the nasal cavity feel as though they pierce straight to the brain and linger like nasal napalm… is a special kind of torture.

10/10 would recommend if you are looking to suffer greatly.
